Let me begin by saying i spent a week calling and visiting many storage facilities looking for a reputable and clean storage facility. Well, Security Public Storage met that challenge successfully. There were a few that i would really steer clear of in the Sterling area but thats just my personal opinion. I worked with Amanda at Security Public Storage and she was absolutely great. Worked to accommodate my needs and concerns and also, on where the unit was located. To earn my business she also gave me two months at 50% off versus their standard one month 50% off promotion. Im going to list some of the positives of this storage facility below. -24x7 security monitoring, the entire facility -loading dock: you can back your moving truck, pickup truck or SUV right up and unload or load up. if you dont have a truck or SUV they have ground level access. -Sensor motion lights as you walk down the hallway to your unit. Other facilities you have to find the knob on the wall which is timer based. So if youre loading or unloading a lot of stuff youll find yourself walking over to that knob quite a few times. -I dont know if other facilities have this but you can manager your account right online from the website where you can make payments and review payment history. If youre in the market for a unit go see Security Public Storage and speak to Amanda.

This is my first time renting a unit with them and Ive had an absolutely wonderful experience so far! The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating of my needs. The contract was straightforward and they were very upfront about the details. With the summer special, I got over $100 discounted on my first and second month! Once I had a unit picked out, it only took about 15 minutes to go over the agreement, sign it, and be on my way. The facility is clean, well-kept, and in a convenient location. It has never been crowded and all the units are kept very secure. The office hours and times that you can access the facility are excellent. The fact that they sell various packing supplies and locks is an added convenience. Their online system makes it a breeze to pay your monthly rental fees. These are conveniences you wont find at every storage facility. All-in-all, I would highly recommend Security Public Storage to any friend and wouldnt hesitate to rent with them again! Of the two other storage facilities less than a mile away, theres a reason I chose this one!!

I hate security public storage and heres why: 1) All of these reviews are inflated and fraudulent, I just knew on the first page I would see many four and five-star reviews. Security tells you they will give you ten percent off the first time you leave a review on Google or five other sites, the catch is you have to bring them a copy of the review first. I wonder how many people who actually give the place one & two stars walk into the office to claim their 10% reward?! Oh, and 2) As soon as you exceed your tenth day past your due date, guess what? All of your belongings are then locked-up by management! Ten days, and what may potentially be your lifes worth of goods and belongings are now proudly on their way to being owned by someone else. Ten days is nothing, especially in our current economic climate. Whatever you do, avoid Security Public Storage! btw, i have reasons three and four, but ill just log-in later and leave another HONEST review!

Excellent & friendly staff that lives within eyesight of this facility that consistently receives great ratings. 2. Very clean, well-kept, climate-controlled units with easy access via loading dock & large unit access doors. 3. Very competitive prices with no administrative fees or deposits & base insurance included in monthly fee. 4. State-of-the-art video surveillance systems with individual unit security alarms. 5. Access 7 days-a-week with extended gate hours: 6am-10pm 6. Motion sensor hallway lighting & on-site bathroom facility. 7. Full selection of boxes and moving supplies at competitive pricing. 8. They accept major credit cards. We highly recommend you consider this facility.

Ive rented from several storage unit companies in Herndon over the last 9 years. From the moment that Peggy answered the phone, this experience was different from the others. She was extremely pleasant and didnt rush the conversation. It felt like I was their only customer. When I went to the facility, she and her husband Dave were professionally relaxed and gave the sense of being welcomed into their home rather than walking into their work office. The prices were comparable to the others in the area if not actually a bit lower. When I saw the storage unit that I was getting, it was the first one ever that I had rented that was completely clean and swept. Storage unit facilities are pretty generic, so its the little things that add up to sell. Peggys perfection with customer service puts this facility over the top.

Overall: Facility is very clean and convenient and the customer service is excellent. Highly recommended. Peggy is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. She is a pleasure to work with. She has accommodated multiple requests and helped me out significantly. It did not matter how many questions I asked or changes I made (multiple on each end) - she always responds with a smile and a good answer. Cleanliness of units is an important factor - rented an outdoor and indoor over the summer and spent a significant amount of time in the outdoor unit. Zero pests - and that was certainly of concern with outdoor in the heat of the summer with a large amount of boxes and blanketed furniture.

I was in a tight spot needing to put my items in storage pretty quickly, and after calling multiple storage facilities, I made a pretty obvious choice and went with Security Public Storage in Herndon. Their rates were very reasonable, even offering great move in specials. They had space available immediately and the unit, grounds and office were extremely clean and well kept. The manages answered all of my questions, their customer service went above and beyond to make sure my experience went smoothly. Very satisfied with the overall experience and would definitely use SPS again if I had a need, and recommend them to others.

This is a great facility. When I did my research this past summer, the various websites I checked out stated that the owners of this facility were on the ball, didnt pull your leg, really nice, were fair and on target with pricing, lived on property and knew their industry. I have found this to be 100% correct. This is the first time we have rented a storage unit; Peggy and Dave couldnt have been more helpful and the unit is absolutely clean and dry. I highly recommend the Herndon Security Public Storage.

SPS Herndon is very prompt, financially organized, and people oriented. They understand the needs of their current customers as well as prospective customers. Their prices are very reasonable in the comparative storage market. The staff does not try to sell you a unit larger than your needs just to make a few extra monthly dollars.
