So my car was hesitating when I got on the gas, so I take it in to Sanko and have it diagnosed as a bad coil pack. Drop it off around 12 in the afternoon and am told I would get it back in a few hours. Did not hear anything back that day and missed work the next day. I call them the next morning and hes got my car confused with somebody elses car, he says he will start now and call me in a few hours. I get the call in a few hours saying the car is ready and I come get it. Later that night I am driving it and am experiencing the same problem I came in with. Honestly to me it looked like the engine had never been touched in the first place so I bring it back and repeat what happened the first time. Get a call a few hours later saying its done again and I can come get it. Problem not fixed. Bring it back again and in conclusion they didnt know what was wrong and gave up, and told me good luck. Great waste of $190, do NOT come here.

Scammer!! Owner charged me almost DOUBLE than any other mechanic. When i questioned this, he insulted me. When i tried to apologize he said hed fix it but would charge me another $150 for the inconvenience of moving my car (from the garage to the parking area which is literally a few feet). I towed my car to his shop on saturday, making me have to stay in richmond until Monday, had to miss work, appts etc. (i drove from nyc). i later found out my problem could have been fixed within a few hours on saturday. Now, im at another mechanic shop i find out he BROKE my handle to open my trunk which to repair costs me an extra $50. So not only has this guy overcharged me, insulted me, had to deal with his irrationality, broke part of my handle BUT also wasted my time. YOUVE BEEN WARNED!

Good day ....I wont tell you about the absolutely HORRIBLE experience I had with Mercedes Benz on W Broad Street instead I will take this opportunity to share my experience with Sanko Auto Repair. These guys really saved the day not only did they diagnose the wrong part that Mercedes Benz Installed but they arranged to have that part replace by the dealer towing and all. They also had to repair another fault caused by the dealer. Lesson Learned I will take my Mercedes to SANKO AUO PARTS & REPAIR without question and I would urge you to do the same Make sure they are your first call. They really know how to take care of their customers and Follow up and Follow thru... Great Job!!!!!

Sanko has always had my back when it came to keeping my all three of the Mercedes of different years and models that Ive owned in great working order. Sankos certified technicians know exactly what they are doing, have great rates on parts and labor and not to mention their garage is very accessible for immediate auto emergencies. Even if they are full, they can still take your car in for service! I highly recommend Sanko for their superb customer service and vast knowledge. They can fix heck, anything and even make older models run like new. Also, if youre in the market for a new car they have you covered!

Listen to the reviews, I did. This is in fact one of the most experienced shops as far as German cars go. Its not much to look at, but as they say, dont judge a book by its cover. These guys are real old school mechanics, ones that have tinkered with and repaired cars so long they have an idea of what the problem as soon as you tell them the symptoms. They will go with you on a test drive so you can point out exactly what youre concerned about. Most of all they are not like the stealership, they are reasonable, and will not fix whats not broken or play guessing games replacing part after part.

This shop is one of the most experienced in Richmond when it comes to German cars. Although the exterior of this shop is quite dirty, they do top notch work on my vehicles. Also, everytime I do come in for service, The owner, Bekhit always has either one or several expensive Mercedes or BMWs being worked on for customers or dealers. He and His brother does great work, and they have very reasonable prices. They can come off as very loud, but they are very friendly people and are looking for repeat customers that they can build relationships of service with.

These people are so rude and nasty, they fast talk you and they raise their prices sky high, I took my mercedes here in october they repaired it and I took it back on yesterday with my receipt they are so unprofessional I will NEVER take my car here again. The son is rude and nasty, they other to older men are just as worse. Whoever gave them 5 starts has to be lying, my car was ready no one called, my they quote all kinds of prices off of the top of their head, I wouldnt recommend these people to anyone !!!!!

Where to even begin. These people had my Range Rover a week and did nothing. After telling me initially it was the key causing the problem, I ordered a new one for $240. That turned out to be wrong. Days after the new key I still havent heard a peep from them. I call and still they know nothing and tells me to tow to dealer after all this time. How could they consciously hand me a bill? FOR WHAT??? This was once a recommended mechanic, but arrogance over time has totally corroded what was once good service.

Very bad experience. Owner seemed too EMOTIONAL could not control his temper with clients. I will 100% NOT recommended sanko. His prices were 25% HIGHER than 2 other similar shops nearby quoted. When asked for a breakdown he TOOK OFFENSE and told me he was not ripping me off. All i asked was for a breakdown of the quote, (labor vs. parts). He was not professional enough to reconnect the exhaust cables and leave the car how he initially found it. Do NOT recommend this shop!

Although it doesnt look like much from the outside, this is the best repair shop Ive ever dealt with, by far. They have solved problems with my cars that no one else could. They are always conservative in the work they recommend you do, they are fast, and the price is always the most reasonable. What more do you want? I dont even price them out anymore. The owner is Beckit. He and his brother Peter run the shop. They are doing sales of used Mercedes-Benz now as well.

I recently moved from NJ to VA. I found couple of shop and So Far I found Sanko most reasonable due to It is being Family own Business. Nasim is very polite. The owner is Humble. I got my G63 AMG, ML350 4Matic & C350 done here. I wanted to leave this review BC I read review below which does not sound Authentic. I leave review do check my other reviews. Kind Regards Nick

I have been involved with automobiles for most of my life. I do my own work always unless something if beyond my capabilities ( and that is not much) I can do about everything to a car. I have several from British, Swedish, German and American. When I need help with my Mercedes there is only one (1) place I go. The Sanko family treats me just as that "Like Family".
