These guys are the real deal! They love cars and theyll treat yours with TLC. I have had 2 cars expertly maintained by these folks for nearly 10 years. Their rates are very reasonable and their expert advice and clear communications are worth even more. When my former car started to encounter more frequent and significant issues, I asked if it was time for something new, and they said yes, even though maintaining the problematic car was probably in FAS best interest. They are competent to handle the little and big things - they found and replaced a hood for my very old car (yes, the one with a cassette deck!). Attentiveness to detail is also one of their strengths. For example, I park one car under an oak tree and by November, it has lots of acorns, leaves and other tree debris lodged between the hood, wipers, and windshield. The hood latch was rusted shut, so I could not clear this debris myself. I asked FAS to resolve the hood latch issue. Of course they got the hood latch unstuck, and then they went one step better, and cleared all oak tree evidence, saving me the literal dirty work - and also relieving me of one of the few things I dislike about autumn, clearing tree debris. I know this seems like a little thing, but the little things really do mean a lot, and this is one shining example of FAS focus on their work and their customers. If they can keep my nearly 20 year old car going strong, yours will be no problem. There is convenient bus service to/from Vienna metro and along routes 50 & 29 from this location too. If you spend some waiting time at FAS, there are lots of fun things to explore within easy walking distance, such as the best soft ice cream (Carvel) across the street, plus a Harley-Davidson dealer, Cinnabon, bowling, thrift shop, restaurants, 2 parks, Asian markets, etc. These guys dont need any micro managing, and since the waiting area is smallish, just drop off your car and go do something else - there are lots of fun distractions nearby, or take one of the Cue or Metro buses.

These guys have been earning my business big time, to the point where this is the ONLY shop where Ill consider taking my Audi and feel actually good about it! Everything is amazing about this place; customer service, workmanship, professionalism and Im sure youll appreciate that so far they seem to be HONEST and fair with their pricing. That last one is such a rarity in repair shops so needless to say, its super refreshing to have found a place with this much integrity in their dealing with their customers. Nothing about telling you you need to fix things that you dont have to, no upselling, no reinstalling old parts and telling you they put new ones in. Trust me, Ive checked their work after Ive left. Thats what keeps me coming back and why theyre soo busy all the time because Im sure others have noticed the same. They dont have to lie because by doing business the right way they actually hey more business. Note - Ask for Carlos when you call, he is above and beyond the absolute best shop manager Ive met. I dont normally take time to write these type of reviews, but this place has earned it. Definitely go here!

These guys are AWESOME! Why? -Extremely pleasant people to deal with. Family owned business who really care. They allowed me to borrow the family vehicle since I needed to get to work and they did not have a loaner available. Wow! -Prices are very reasonable. I went to another nearby shop (not a dealer) first and decided to go for a second opinion. So happy that I did. I saved ALOT of money. -The inspection reports are really cool. They send you an email that includes a detailed report of what is recommended for repair, a picture from your vehicle that shows what is wrong, reason why it should be repaired, and criticality of the repair. This helps you to make informed decisions about what must be done now and what can wait. -Fast turnaround. They had my car diagnosed and repaired in 24 hours. And, this was not a simple repair... -Free "Executive Membership" provides nice benefits like a free car wash. It really was nice to come pick up my car to have her all nice and cleaned up. I am so happy to find a shop that I can trust with my BMW. Thanks guys. -Matt

Ive been using Foreign Auto Services for several years for my BMW, with other shops working on it occasionally when I was away from Northern Virginia. From now on, I"m going to try to always make it back for FAS; it is simply the best and most honest repair shop Ive ever used. My most recent problem was with the ABS module; for which a dealer had quoted me more than $3500 to repair. FAS was able to find a used part, correctly deduced that likely the module was still working and the hydraulic unit needed to be replaced. This was correct, and the cost was around $800. They originally thought the rear main seal was leaking, but after checking further discovered it wasnt -- saving me another expensive repair. Although I dont live in Chantilly, its well worth the drive for me. The waiting area is comfortable, and there are tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance if you need to wait for something. Im a huge fan of Carlos and his team; service has always been excellent.

We turned to FAS out of desperation - got tired of paying high repair costs at the dealership. We own a BMW. It runs well, however it must be maintained - just like any other vehicle, right! It runs well because we finally found someone who knows how to fix the car. We made the mistake to take it to a couple of other competitors/national brands and boy was that a mistake. My husband and I feel comfortable calling Carlos, or anyone else at the shop and asking them what could be novice/silly questions. They answer them each and every time. I like their no BS policy. I dont know much about cars, outside of driving them, but I know when maintenance is due and when someone is trying to pull my leg. These guys know what they are doing and theyll give it to you straight. A plus for me is that they too drive a foreign vehicle ... so yes, they know what they are dealing with. Thanks for taking care of our only mode of transportation! AND, for giving it to us straight!

Reliable work and trustworthy guys. One of the things I RESPECT the most about these guys is that they will stand 100% behind their work!! You just cant find a place like that, where they wont try to give you a run around or make excuses for why a repair might not have been beyond what you expected. They will just fix it till it goes beyond your expectations and will more than make up for any inconveniences. Truly a shop that is one of a kind! And now they partnered with a place that will pick up your car, take it to the shop to get it fixed and deliver it back to you... Simply amazing!! If I had the skills (and tools) to fix things in my Audi myself, Id do everything myself because I like to be super detailed and am a perfectionist to a fault... The next best place for me: Foreign Auto Services for sure. Very few places left that actually will take pride in their work like them!
