Dont go with with misleading *****. I have had a worse experience with this merchant. I had BMW x3, took to this shop only after reading 5 stars reviews. I told them that based on autozone diagnostics tool, this SUV has an issue with throttle body. He said "i have a better diagnostics tool and will charge you $75 for checking the issue"...after 5 minutes, he said yeah its the throttle body issue...leave the car, i will clean the throttle body for $250 and if that does not solve the problem then i will replace it. I left car there and the following day he said that throttle body is clean and need to be replaced...he replaced it after 2 days, paid him $741 and asked him, is the error code gone? also can you give me the old part back ? he said, yeah error code is clear, i tool the car same day and guess what? it was still showing the same code...and he didnt give me old throttle body part back....to cut long story short, next morning i turned the car on but it would not turn on -- the has the same problem resurfaced....call this merchant and he started lecturing me about his good work and then kept saying that car like a human being, blah blah....got sick of it it...ended up trading me car in ....bottom line, this place is a rip off...dont waste your money and time...ii learned it hard way

this is a great place to d business with, im new to this country, and dont have a lot of money i bought a used car and took it to all the mechanic shops around my area and i felt like everyone wants to rip me off, the vehicle had no power it wouldnt go over 40mph every mechanic shop told me i need a transmission, but since i knew a little bit about cars it didnt seem like it was transmission it seems to me like it was the engine that had no power, then my friend recommended me to mj auto repair i took it to them in 2hrs the call me back and told me i need a crank sensor part and labor was $124.33 i didnt believe and said go ahead do it , and in 1hr i god a call and they said your car is ready for pick up and since then my car is in perfect shape, the only reason i gave them 4 star because when went there at 6:25pm the were close they did not wait for me to come i highly recommend mj auto repair to every one in this area and i will be a life time customer

MJ auto repair shop in Stafford is definitely the shop to go to for your car issues and needs. ask for Jawid the owner and he will definitely take care of you. this place is down to earth and the estimates provided to you are clear cut, upfront, and honest. my favorite part is being walked over to my car and being walked through whatever is under the hood or car that is causing the actual issue. I have been going there for all my car needs since July of this year and they have worked on two different cars I have owned high end and SUV. if you own a lexus this guy is definitely the subject matter expert for this make and any model. whether it was an actual repair issue or maintenance it was always affordable and never pushy. I believe there are some genuine mechanics out there and this is one of them, support your local small businesses, especially those that take good care of its military veterans.

My BWM 530I Series, was jerking when I was in idle, and I took my car to the shop that I regularly go to, to no avail. I found MJ on google, because I was constantly searching for a shop that can fix the propblem for a reasonable fee. I was greeted by a man called Jawed. He was very professional and knowledgeable. (Its very hard to find a shop good at fixing BMW in the DMV ) he explained the problem, which was misfire, and told me he could fix it that same day. I live in Alexandria, around 45 min from the shop, I didnt want to come back. He was kind enough to have a staff give me a ride to and from the nearest coffee shop, while he worked on my car. I will definitely go back.

No need for phone calls. Im done with you and your shop sir. I already traded in my BMW with loss [also paid you $741 for nothing] -- I expected honesty and professionalism but was very disappointed with your work. NOW [after 3 months] you are saying that you have the old throttle body part BUT Why you did not give me old part at that time? Why did you say that error code for throttle body is cleared? I honestly believe that your were very unfair and dishonest -- but guess what? its only $741...Money comes and goes but I learned my lesson and i dont want you to go out of business but I hope people will start going to proper Car Tech/shops --

I have a 2007 Toyota Prius - the water pump was leaking. The Toyota dealership wanted about $650 parts and labor ... I said no and started looking and found MJ ... even though I live in Bowie MD I took it there because I had some work to do in VA. They replaced the water pump and did some other stuff the car needed - the water pump replacement with new belt etc was a little over $300 so about half the dealership costs. The car is running great. I definitely will go back. Honest shop ... smart friendly mechanics.

this is the Worse Place this Guy got an Attitude problem Took my Car he gave me estimate for a old parts and labor i check the part price online brand new with 10 year warranty which was very cheap and he was charging too much for that part! when i came back home and call him that i will get the part and you charge your labor he told me come and take your car So basically he will Rip you off stay away!please whoever giving him 5 star check your around a bit more this place is not worth it .

Out brakes tied up at 5:45, and we managed to roll into the shop just as he was ready to close. It was very important for us to be able to get on our way. MJ Auto Repair did everything possible to make that happen. He even went to a neighboring town to get the part we needed. We are so very thankful for their services and going above and beyond what was expected! Thank you Jawid!!! You were a God send!!

I love this place literally took me 4 days to get my car looked at for free and fixed all in like 4 days!! It was the cheapest place I found and I will highly recommend this place to many of my fellow friends.
