I rarely write negative reviews online, but the experience I just had here is troubling and deeply disappointing as I have done business with them two times before. My conscience compels me to share this experience with others. I went because I heard a noise from my tire. A very polite young man took my car for a drive. He suspected that the tires needed balancing. After a one and half hour wait, another gentlemen came out and informed me that the four engine mounts were not functioning and needed to be replaced. Fair enough, the car has been vibrating and shaking. He estimated the cost of replacement plus an alignment at over $1,100. I was gobsmacked and close to tears. I asked him if it was dangerous to continue driving. He told me "To be honest, yes." I told him that "I would have to die as I dont have $1,000." He said "Dont say that." I said "Well, I will get a ride and be carless." He literally walked away without another word. Thanks to my mom who told me never to go without it, I have AAA. A tow truck came and picked up my vehicle and me. The tow truck driver asked me what was wrong with my car. When I told him and explained the price, he was appalled. He whipped out his phone and showed me where I could purchase ALL FOUR mounts for $71!!! They were going to charge me $200 EACH plus labor. This goes beyond a simple mark up. This is a deliberate attempt to heartlessly rip someone off. I implore you, do not go to this place! This is textbook lack of trustworthiness and honor. It grieves me that some people have already lost their heard earned money getting service done here, including me!

We just moved into the area and we are looking for dependable auto shop - this isnt it. Went for an inspection and was told they wanted to charge me $80 to clean my left headlamp and $165 to replace my right headlamp and I went online and bought two new headlamps for $73. Needless to say, I failed the inspection because I told them what I thought of their prices. Now I noticed my oil is leaking! (I also had an oil change) Save your money and find someplace else. Update! Its leaking in three different spots and the car has always been dry brought it back to the shop last night, the day of, and was told there were other things leaking but nothing was ever leaking before until yesterday. Makes me wonder.

I went to this place because I had a terrible experience at University Tire in Charlottesville (Main Street location). I got the car inspected in the Main street location and for re-inspection I wanted to avoid going back there so I went to Ruckersville because Id heard the old manager from the Main Street branch, Brian, was now in Ruckersville. He was very apologetic about my experience in the Main Street store, and he remembered my vehicle and sister perfectly from when she used to bring the Jeep in years ago. He was super nice and helpful!!

Each of my 3 visits have been a disaster. Tire pressure not checked. Failure to include 5th tire rotation when asked to. Broke off a lug nut and over tightened all remaining lug nuts which had to be broken off to remove rim afterwards. I advised them the lug nut and stud were fine when I dropped off the car and they should fix it. They smiled and no way. Go to Sams club instead. Part 2: Adam at University Tire made this right at once. I will go back but I will check the work closely. Thanks Adam.

I will never take my car anywhere else. These group of mechanics are the best i have been to in a long time. I strayed away from University Tire and went to The Alignment Shop and got nothing but nonsense. I love waiting on my car cause I use that time to study since im a student. Thank you guys for all the great service you have done for all my cars yall are the best at what you do.

Wow, I had a bad experience before when I was there and apparently it hasnt gotten any better. Dont waste your time with online requests. I did an online request and never heard from them. I just called, basically got the run around. What a shame, very convenient place for people in the Ruckersville area to take their vehicle. Shame the service isnt what it should be.

I would never go back to this place again or recommend anyone to. It took three hours to mount 2 tires and when I got it back they scachted my 17in diamo rims all to crap and I talked to manger and he tried telling me they couldnt have done it but there the only ones who touched the rims since I had the car. Me and any of the people I know will not b going back there!!!

I just left this location about 30 minutes ago. I called yesterday about a state Inspection and was told to come in this morning at 7. , I was early, when they opened I was told that there were 6 ahead of me. It would be a couple of hours before they could get to me! So they lied yesterday when they said they could take me in first thing if I got there at 7!

I trust these guys, specifically the Ruckersville location, with all of my auto maintenance. Ive noticed that this location stays pretty busy, so I usually try to drop my vehicle off instead of wait for it if I can. If I dont have another ride, I take advantage of the free WiFi in the waiting area. I definitely recommend them.

Read the reviews. This place is the worst. Made an appointment to wait for oil change tire rotation with ample time so I could get to work afterwards. Waited over an hour and they never got to my car. You can get better service at a dealership or other shops in the area. Do not waste your time with this place.

Completely inappropriate and racist conversation behind the counter for the entire long wait! They managed to insult and stereotype every non white race. The location is convenient, but the staff made it a horrible experience.

Went in at 11am to get an oil change.was told I was next in line.3oclock and still havent got to me yet.Dont recommend this place to anyone hate to see a busy day.I just took my keys and left.will never return!

Purchased new tires alignment and inspection. Service completed in one and a half hours a reasonable amount of time. The salesman reviewed several tires and current offers with me no rush on the selection.

Horrible customer service and always try to upsell products. Tried to charge my wife 44 dollars for a simple alternator and battery check, that is free at almost every auto parts store.

Tire prices were good but service conflicts with mechanics that did the work kept me waiting while service writer finished paper work that was supposed to be done by mechanics.

Came here to get my exhaust system replaced. They were very sweet and got it done in a timely fashion. If you go here id reccomend talking to Alfonso.
