I recently rented a storage unit from the Public Storage located at 521 Garrisonville Rd. in Stafford, Va. I initially selected a small unit, just to find that the unit was not large enough to accommodate the last of the home furnishings that I could not fit in my new home. Johnnye and Natasha were more than understanding and assisted me in finding a larger unit. The Public Storage team was very courteous and professional in the way they conducted business. And although the location was just being renovated from Storage 2000 to Public Storage, the team didnt not let the transition stop them from delivering superior service. For my future storage needs, I will use Public Storage. I know Ill be well taken care of and treated with respect and dignity. For outstanding customer service, I recommend The Public Storage Location on Garrisonville Road in Stafford,VA.

Shay and Anthony were very accommodating and friendly. I was able to come into the Public Storage Office later than my scheduled appointment yesterday to sign the rental paperwork during my moving day. It only took about 10 minutes to go over the paperwork, and any questions that I had were answered right there. Then we moved our things in, and we were in and out in about 45 minutes. The only feedback I would offer is that it would be nice to have a few more lights outside the units. I had to go back that night because some essentials were accidentally packed in my unit, and it was pretty dark back there! The property is fenced in so I wasnt really worried about security, but it would be reassuring if there was a little more light. Overall, great experience! Thank you Shay and Anthony, for providing a little stability in an overall stressful day full of commotion.

Moved to the Stafford area from another state with a large amount of items to store which caused an issue with Public Storage. Public Storage has an overnight parking policies in which a truck cannot be parked overnight until it can be picked up by the moving company. Since the company I used to transfer my items parks a truck until the next working day this caused some issues and concerns. I spoke with Sydney about this dilemma and the circumstances. She was determined that we could make it work and thought out of the box so when the truck arrives tomorrow there will be no issues. Moving to another state has enough rough roads, to worry about how to coordinate the delivery of your items is a whole other angst. I am very appreciative of how Sydney took control to find a solution. She definitely went above and beyond her role and it is greatly appreciated!!

The rent will keep creeping up. My rent has changed 3 times since I started my rental at this facility. All of this in under a year. My bill just slowly creeps up a few dollars every couple of months. Also they do not have a size that you were required to get their insurance. And beware that while I was storing items at this facility the roof caved in on my unit. After this happened and I called management I receive no phone call for 3 days. Nobody seemed to care that this happened. Horrible business practice at this location. They can call me anytime to discuss and so can anyone else for that matter. I will tell you exactly what happened.

Shay answered all my questions over the phone - very friendly. When I arrived Maria showed me as many units as I wished to see, from units with drive-up access to indoor units that were climate controlled. After I decided which unit I wanted both Maria and Shay answered more questions while they handled the paperwork and even gave me advice and made suggestions to help me with the process. They could not have been more considerate and helpful. The facility appears clean and well-kept. I feel comfortable with leaving my things in this facility.

we are a military family that moves a lot, i went in to buy a few boxes because we had a few items we forgot to pack. A girl named Natasha helped me and was super friendly and knew exactly what she was doing when i explained what kind of items i was packing she knew exactly what sizes i needed and how many i would need. if it wasnt for her i wouldve gotten the wrong boxes and probably wouldve gotten too many. i have already recommend this store to a few of my friends and would definitely recommend it to anyone else.

I did my research and weighed a lot of factors including location, cost for the specific arrangement offered, and customer service. This Public Storage location came out as a clearly superior option. Then when I went in to claim my rental space, I was pleasantly surprised by not just the great customer service, but the employees professionalism and efficiency in conducting our business. Its impressive! Bottom line: great convenience and value here.

A quick note: I recently had a need for storage and choose this location due to the very helpful staff. Johnyee, was very helpful and spent a few minutes discussing my storage unit size options. I relied on Johnyees experience and she was right. I did get all my stuff into the correct size unit saving me a ton of money as this will be a long term rental. Thanks so much

The facility is clean, prices are great. The best part was the customer service. The onsite manager Johnnye is fabulous. She is friendly, and very helpful. She provided the best customer service experience I have received in years!!! Johnnye is a gem an asset to the company. I never expected to have such a great experience while renting a storage unit.

Shay is such a good person she found an expensive flashlight I had left behind on a visit and kept it safe for me until I came to retrieve it. See I didnt realize it was there until I talked to shay who told me she found it and returned it to me. She didnt have to tell me she found it but she did. Thats what I call trust worthy! Great job shay!

Bit of bait and switch due to website not being up to speed with location sizes, in particular for parking. DONT sign lease until you are 100% satisfied that the storage fits your need and that PS has no objection. Even resigning a new agreement the same day carries additional set up fees, or risk losing the internet discounts. Caveat emptor.

I had an awesome experience with customer services. It was well manner conversation that you dont see these days. I was making an account on my aunts the representive named Shabanna or shay was a delight, awesome and perfect. She helped me and my aunt a lot . I recommended everyone to use this company.Ask for shay she will help you a lot.

I had a great experience today at public storage. Shay was wonderful today. She was very busy with other customers but she acknowledged me and my husband when we walked inside the building. I would recommend my friends and family to public storage and request for shay. She will try her best to get you what you need at the right price.
