I would NOT recommend this storage facility to anyone!! I stored my items here roughly six months. My storage unit had been broken into and my unit left wide open and no staff member even bothered to pick up a phone and call and alert me. I just so HAPPENED to be the area one day and decided to drive by and check on my unit and my lock had been cut and garage door was left wide open. The staff couldnt tell me the exact date the break in happened or even seemed to care. To pay $80 a month to store your items you at least expect them to be safe. I understand things happen but the staff handled the situation poorly and they obviously do not monitor and do there "rounds" regularly enough or a prompt phone call would have been made to a paying customer. My advice::Store elsewhere.

Shelly was extremely helpful and considerate! I was nervous about using a storage unit for a first-time move and was about to get a 2nd unit because Id gotten too small of a unit on the first trip - she stopped me and moved me to one bigger cheaper unit rather than overpaying for 2 units. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, Ill definitely use them again if I move elsewhere in the Richmond area!

Shelly is a real pro when it comes to Self Storage. she has years of experience, and after a brief discussion, can tell you exactly what size and type of storage until you need. Ive never been to a nicer and cleaner office than Shellys SpaceMart location on Jahnke Rd. I highly recommend you take advantage of her facilities.

Shelly is a theft and a crook she steals the money or add charges like you owe that much when in actuality she is pocket that money all I can say make sure you read the contract cause she will get over I do not recommend this storage unit

Space Mart Self Storage is a fantastic place to store! Shelly Gibson is extremely helpful in identifying exactly what type of storage you will need. They are also 24 hour a day access! Which is fantastic for my needs.
