One of our customers asked us to put this e-mail he sent online for him: "To Americana: I would like to take a moment out of my very busy day to thank the people at Americana Self Storage for helping me solve all my storage challenges. I had some rather urgent needs and while the larger unit was not available, Jo & Nick helped with 2 smaller units until a larger one became available. Then as soon as a larger one became available Jo and Nick contacted me and now I am in the process of consolidating. Jo and Nick made the process easy even the paperwork and billing (which I hate) was easy to understand because they took the time to explain thoroughly and make sure I fully understood everything. They always seem ready to help any way they can so Americana will always be where I store my business and personal goods. Also the use of the moving truck was great! I had an emergency come up. I went to the Extra Space Storage on Lee Rd. Edwin was so helpful and polite. My little sister was moving into the area and I need to not only make room for her but also have some extra space for her items while she is in transition. Edwin was amazing he made sure I had a unit that was convenient. The facility was clean. My unit smelled like it was just cleaned. I want to thank Edwin for being so kind this past Saturday I was able to take my little sister to meet him and she said he was the nicest person she had meet in VA so far. She is relocating from NJ. Thank you !!!

I normally dont write review unless a business and the level of customer service exceeds my expectations. And in this case, I wanted to show my appreciation for Edwin, the manager at the Lee Rd. location. Ive been storing my belongings here for over a year and have never had any problems since this locations security procedures are safe and the location is convenient for my wife and I. With this being said, I would recommend this place to anyone whos looking for a safe and hassle free storage space, and suggest that you ask to speak to Edwin. Im sure youll be in good hand. T. Son

This is my second time using Extra Space Storage. I was a customer when it was SmartStop and continued my rental with them once they bought out the property. The facility is clean, well-maintained and in a safe location. They are, far and away, one of the most cost efficient storage companies in northern Virginia and one of the friendliest and most accommodating. Cant recommend them enough!

Everything about the experience was fantastic. The prices are amazing. Use of the free truck to move my apartment was so helpful. I also reserved the wrong size unit beforehand and they allowed me to switch my reservation the day of. The office managers were extremely friendly and understanding the entire time. Id recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Absurdly strict late policy, trailer park level customer service and their complete lack of security. Buyer beware!!! Manager Nick made multiple threats of what he "would do" if I told anyone about my very negative experience with them. Facility is poorly maintained and over priced.

Just reserved a non-climate controlled unit for some furniture and knick-knacks until I get a house. Staff was extremely responsive and helpful. The value for the space couldnt be beat by anyone nearby. Hopefully the rest of the experience will be just as good.
