Beware!! took my wifes van for inspection. Said it would be quick - only one car in the bay. 90 minutes later they said it would fail due to needing brake service on the rear tires - caliper had seized and needed to be replaced and I needed a new gas tank because they could smell gas when they lifted the vehicle on the lift! Took me back to "show" me - i could not smell gas. They could not show me a leak or any visible leak - but said it was just as expensive to replace the gas tank as to take it apart and try and find the leak. Wanted $300 to pass inspection...... Fast forward - went to the Honda dealer in Manassas. They inspected the vehicle. Do not need a new gas tank! Breaks on the rear are absolutely fine! They are supposed to be the big bad dealer that tries to rip you off?? They were awesome, had me in and out in under an hour with a great explanation on the inspection and what constitutes a valid repair and inspection. Always get a second opinion. Every repair should be verified. Everyone makes mistakes, remember its your money - spend it well.

I recommend that other drivers do not trust this shop. I had my tires replaced and an alignment job at this shop. After leaving I got a rumbling at highway speeds, and the steering pulled to the left all the time. The rumbling slowly decreased until I had the tires rotated last week. After the tire rotation, the rumbling returned and was worse. I took the car to another shop that Ive trusted for years and they found that three of the four wheels were not balanced (supposedly included in the tire replacement) and that a tie rod needed replacement. Since I waited too long to get someone else to look at this, I cannot prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Warrenton Midas failed to perform the wheel alignment correctly, but the tire wear is consistent with wheels that have been out of alignment. Given that Midas failed to balance the wheels, I believe that the tire wear is also from their failure to perform the wheel alignment.

Ive been taking my cars to this shop in Warrenton for all sorts of work for nearly eight years now. Theyve worked on my 1999 Suburban, my 2005 Mercedes, and my sons 1993 Lincoln Town Car—everything from breaks to suspension work—always with excellent results. I wholeheartedly recommend them. You’ll find competent mechanics, first-rate service, and friendly management.

THE EMPLOYEES ARE LIARS AND CHEATS. This Midas location committed fraud in demanding payment for unnecessary repairs in order to pass my vehicle for inspection. The refused to show me the problems, and threatened me when I advised them the problem would be reported to the State Police. The vehicle was taken elsewhere and immediately passed with no issues found.

Failed inspection because they said rotors were rusty. Any part that the brake pad does not touch will rust because it is iron. They just wanted money to change out brakes and rotors. Went to another shop and passed fine. Now I know why every other shop had an hour wait time for inspection and Midas was the only one available. Dont trust them.

I take my vehicles there every time I need something done and I am extremely pleased with what they do. If anything comes up they call and ask if I want to fix it instead of just hitting me with a bill. I have used Midas of Warrenton for years now and I will recommend any one who asks to go there.

Friendly, fast and reliable! I have referred this shop to many of my friends and family and will continue to do so. One of the few places in town, that I feel, I can really trust. It is hard to find a good repair shop, but when you do, its a good thing!
