I paid US Parcel Mailing in Warrenton, Va. $20.00 to mail a package. Less than one week later, US Parcel Mailing called to notify me that the package was undeliverable because the recipient had been contacted 3 times and no one was there. Mind you, this is in the course of 4 days. Moreover, US Parcel refused to make any further attempts to deliver the package, unless I paid again to reship or more correctly, attempted reshipment. Furthermore, US Parcel Mailing refused to refund my money, despite their being unjustly enriched by pocketing my initial outlay of funds for a meager attempted delivery. So, if your intended recipient happens to be at work 3 days in a row, or is out of town 3 days in a row, US Parcel Mailing pockets your money, doesnt deliver the package and makes no further attempts to do so. I realize that they do not guarantee delivery, but such a flimsly, meager attempt is poor service and a patently unfair business practice.

I came into US Parcel Mailing with the intention to ship out an antique China set to my sister in Carlsbad, California. It was our mothers favorite set. There were 72 pieces in total. I had used US Parcel Mailing before and never had a problem, so I went down and talked to the young lady who works there first about shipping an antique China set. She assured me that she has done it before many times. I was still apprehensive about shipping it, but I had to do it somewhere and she seemed as capable as anyone I have dealt with in the local area. So she sent it out in several boxes with all sorts of bubble wrap, and peanuts. I am very happy with the service I received from her since all 72 pieces arrived safely within a weeks time! I am a permanent customer of US Parcel Mailing. I cant thank her enough for the great work she did.

US Parcel is incompetent, and Anna in particular is utterly irresponsible. I ordered her to ship the rare and heavy speakers with Styrofoam sheets on all 6 sides. She said she would go one better and double box them with three inches between. What I received was two damaged speakers, one exploded into separate panels, packaged in two layers of cardboard. When confronted she lied and told me she had said she would ship them double-LAYERED not double boxed. Why is this better than 1" Styrofoam sheets? No one ships speakers that way. For this indescribably idiotic act she had charged me TWICE what UPS would charge and package correctly. Then she blamed FedEx making what I believe was a fraudulent claim! I saw no money.

I have used US Parcel Mailing both for shipping boxes I packaged as well as to have them pack and ship items. I have been impressed by their always friendly professional service. I would much rather give my business to a locally owned shop than the other national chains. Ive never had any problems here. Some of the bad reviews are really issues with the carrier (UPS, etc) than with US Parcel Mailing.

My favorite shipping place in town. The woman who has been working there every time I have gone in (I do not know if she is the owner) is soooooo friendly and helpful. I used to go to Staples, but after receiving incredibly poor service, I looked elsewhere. Now I could not be happier.
