Ive never really shipped anything, so I walked up and asked Diane nicely for help and explained that I havent shipped very many packages and that I needed some help. She was rude to me right off the bat, and priced out 2 of my packages at about 12$ each and the other at about 3$. By the time I was ready to pay it came out to 50$ and I asked her to explain why it cost so much when originally she said 12 each plus 3 for my third package. And she continued being rude and said I dont know thats just what the computer says. So I proceeded to ask for my packages back, and she put them back up on the table and ripped off the labels. Worst experience I have ever had. Diane, Work on your customer service please.

When the USPS package tracker tells me my package is in my box, I expect it to be in the box. I show up for my package and its not in the box. I ask the lady behind the counter where it is and she says it hasnt been sorted yet and she cant find it. If it hasnt been sorted why does tracking say it is in my p.o. box? So I wasted time in my busy day (not to mention pay for a p.o. box and shipping) so that I could show up and not get my package, as well as have someone not go find it when I know it is in the building. Maybe I should look at UPS or FedEx boxes.

Why is it when someone mails a package from Tacoma it takes the same amount of time as if its coming from Nevada? We have long suspected that our mail carrier or whoever is sorting our stuff is either sitting on mail for extended periods or just not delivering it on time. We utilize Union station to get important documents & never have issues! Now again today @145pm it took over 30 min to get waited on. 1 desk person, slow as molasses. When will the feds step in & crack the whip?

I called the post office. The woman who answered, unidentified, told me that the IRS does not have a street address in Odgen UT and thats why I couldnt print priority postage from the web to use on a flat rate envelope. As I learned when I called the IRS, of course you can. Simply include the word "Center" - put Internal Revenue Service Center in the address line and no problem. I didnt put Center - I just put IRS and thats why the online form couldnt take it as an address.

The only delivery service I have issues with. Its extremely hard to pick up a package that they refuse to deliver when youre a single mom who works the entire time the post office is open. Theres a reason why I pay to have things delivered.
