I have NEVER written a review until now.........0 star for this facility. Why? My unit was broken into between Dec. 30 and 31st, 2013. I did not know about this until Jan 4th when I just happened to stop by my unit to get something out and the lock was changed! They did leave me a voicemail message on the 31st, "ONE MESSAGE, which I returned their call within a half hour only to leave a voicemail message that was never returned! The message was not marked urgent nor did she say it was urgent. I still have the recording on my voicemail along with the times when she called and when I responded! The worker opened my unit and I found a BOLT CUTTER that does not belong to me and a piece of the lock that was outside my unit for anyone that walked by to see! They supposedly do checks daily. How come if they changed the lock and there have been break-ins in the past (which I just found out that day) that they did not notice that?! Needless to say, my safe and a container with valuable/sentimental items are gone. The unit across from me was also broken into FOR THE SECOND TIME and I had to "encourage", shall I say, the workers to call the owners to get them here ASAP (that wasnt the exact words I used but I need to keep this clean)!!! Police report has been filed, I have been talking with the manager and will be talking to him again along with his bosses!! The manager told me that just like houses, storage facilities can be broken into....REALLY???!!! The way it works, any Tom Dick or Harry can rent a unit, get the access code to get in and VOILA....instant access to EVERYONES UNIT!!! This is inexcusable and unacceptable to just leave a general voicemail message and only ONCE! Those @#$! thieves have 5 days head start to dump my valuables! Its probably already been "e-bayed"!! This was my first time EVER renting a storage unit and due to not reading the "fine print", my ignorance in these matters ......Im devastated. Wanted to share with all the laypersons out there, do not store your valuables/any sentimental items in a storage place that does not have excellent security measures/protocol in place, especially not this one! I will be also sending my experience to the newspapers and have sent in my story to "Get Jesse Jones" on KITV today. I just want people out there not to experience what I am experiencing now. Thank you for your time in reading this. P.S. I got my stuff out that day and the owners across from my unit is in the process of getting their stuff out too.......

I arrived on time and had to walk a long way to the unit, finding multiple areas with screws and sharp objects that will flatten tires. The lady then told me there wasnt a light in the unit, so we looked at another unit and that light was burned out. I went back to the 1st unit and found a string off the light that is set inside a ways in a dark room. The 1st month rent was supposed to be &25-$27, thats what they told me on the phone. It was actually 3 times that amount, after having to have insurance, paying for their special lock, tax, etc. which no one explained to me on the phone. I asked the lady if the storage company would be responsible if I got a flat tire and she didnt know, but said they keep their area clean. The monthly amount I was quoted on the phone and on my confirmation was $108.00 a month, now its at $130.00 a month.Plus when i went to leave I couldnt because I didnt know where the key pad was and no one was at the desk when i called, so I had to drive all the way back to the front gate and wait till the lady came back. If I would have known half of this before I went there, I would have never went there without shopping around 1st. I believe strongly that this company loves to keep things a secret, so they can bait you into a rental. If I didnt have to have a storage unit, I would have walked out the door. Make sure YOU ask all the questions, because they wont be honest with you...

This specific public storage I personally really like. They have a very friendly and easy going staff. They are also not nosey and do not hover over you while your in your unit organizing or just dropping/picking up something from your unit. The only negative detail about this public storage that I did not like was that my ex boyfriend, who I did not want in my unit, was able to not only able to get inside, but he was able to take something as well. The staff told me they did call the cops, but i dont understand why he was able to take something still. I find that odd, considering they knew he was there and shouldnt be and they knew he had taken something yet, he was still able to take whatever it was from my unit knowingly. Other then that, which is probably from poor training and not being given good protocol in that kind of situation, I do like them.

I decided to write a review about this location because I feel that people should know how great they treated me. Heather is so nice, polite and very accommodating. I feel like a member of the family. She and paul knows how to treat the customers the right way. I had been to other branches of public storage and I can say that some were not as warm as them. There was a time that I complained about a certain facility and instead of listening to my valid complaint, the lady manager even gave me a cold treatment. In this location, that will not be the case. As a token of gratitude, I am recommending this location for your storage needs. I had recommended this already to my friends.

I rolled into Everett Washington on January first and needed to find a place to stow my belongings while I looked for an apartment. After reserving a spot online, Heather immediately called me to set up an appointment. She was friendly, fun, and courteous. When I arrived on site, Trent got me set up quickly and answered every silly question I could muster. Both Heather and Trent were fantastic! They are the types of employees that can make even the most mundane of companies stand out against their competition. Keep up the good work guys, and thank you for all of your help. Ive rented from a few other storage locations but this location has by far been the best. What makes it the best is the employees, specifically Heather. She is willing to go above and beyond to help in any way she can. Shes quick to learn your name and makes you feel welcomed each time I arrived, and even when Id call she knew just who I was. Im saddened to learn she is moving to another property, which makes me inclined to move my storage to the property where Heather will be.

I recently needed to rent a spot for my RV , and I went to a Public Storage location, but they didnt have nothing available. I was redirected to this location 12020 Highway 99, Evetett, Wa, where I had the pleasure to meet two wonderful people , Paul.L and Darlene who took care about my problem in couple minutes. They been very efficient, helpful and friendly, and everything went very easy and fast.They are a value employees for the company, and I was verry lucky to meet them.
