I went to them based on a refer from a friend. As I expected, they did a professional job, and I feel confident to take my car to their shop in the future too. I was very happy with their service. 5 star. Update: I update the review to one star after a few times of visit. My car had issues with battery and did not start. I took the car east side bavarian for fix with a tow truck. they said it costs 684 dollar for diagnosis. After diagnosis they called and said the wire that goes from trunk to the front of the car is all burned and needs to be changed. Inspection took two business days and They said the cost is 2400$ adding the inspection cost would become ~3200$. I paid 684$ of diagnosis and took the car out of their shop. I got hesitant that they may be wrong. I towed the car again to another shop in woodinville which was specialized in electrics of the car. They had said (on the phone) that they dont think it is that wire and it should be positive battery post and the cost is 400$ to fix. They called me next morning and they said the car is ready! I was stressed and miserable when I asked how much should I pay, and they said with oil service and tax 700$. I Talked to the shop owner the next day and asked for reimbursement of what I paid for false diagnosis. They returned me what I paid for diagnosis which was 684$. After weeks of that fix, my car is running fine and I have no issues with that fix and I am no more going to their shop. I strongly recommend not to do any complex (diagnosis needed) job with this shop. They are only good at normal oil change, brake service, and so on.

Been driving BMWs for 25+ years and hesitant to purchase any other make after finding a local shop that we trust to service our auto needs. We have experienced everything from oil changes to major repairs (we own 3), which we have experienced a range at Eastside Bavarian (EB). Post manufacturers warranty and dealership service, all of our cars move to EB for the duration. The owner, service advisors and staff are knowledgeable, honest, go above and beyond and truly care about getting the most use of your vehicle while believing in their lifetime performance. German/luxury cars in general are not cheap to maintain/fix but as an owner you know that going in. But, EB offers competitive pricing and always lower than dealership costs, while still providing the same, excellent and many times, better service. We appreciate that they advise issues that the customer can decide whether to fix now to avoid more costly repairs in the future, but yet respects the customers choice to postpone action without pressure. We have referred many satisfied friends and family who come from near and far. We will continue to purchase BMWs as long as Eastside Bavarian is around to keep them running!

I had my car taken into this shop few times in the past with my e36. I always have trusted their work so I took my 09 E92 M3 in for diagnostic. Symptom I had was my car would sometimes idle incorrectly and have engine malfunction pop up on the screen. I knew it was misfiring issue but wanted find out which part (Coil, spark plug??) Especially with my spark plugs being replaced recently with new ones(3rd Party specifically designed for M3). So after 2 hours of diagnostic from Eastside Bavarian, they called me up and says my spark plugs are not OEM so I need to replace those first and see what happens... I was shocked that thats all they can give me. Something I already know.. I told them they should find out what other things are wrong but was unable to have them perform further task to pin point the problem. I ended up paying over $130 for nothing. I trusted them but failed big time. They should of at least check if each spark plugs and coils have no issue. Further inspection needs to be made assuming spark plugs are ok.

They are very nice folks and located convieniently for the Sammamish Plateau. However I took my 525i for a service. They indicated that I needed an oil change (which was right on), and the micro-filters and brake fluid needed changing. The on board computer indicated that I had a lot of miles left on the micro-filters. But they said they were dirty and would not function properly, so I was OK with them changing them. The brake fluid was another issue. It had been changed on 3/09 just 7 months ago. I said that the only way the fluid needed changing was if the last folks charged me but did not change the fluid. I told them I was going back and raising heck with the previous service folks.. The said they would look again. They then told me the fluid was OK and did not require changing. I hope that this was not a case of padding the bill, but they should have looked at the onboard computer before recommending an unnecessary service. frankly I am a bit nervous about taking the car there in teh future.

Youve heard of "my Les Schwab story"? This is "my Eastside Bavarian story". I pulled in to the Eastside Bavarian (EB) lot on a cold, rainy morning. I had stopped on my way home from a trip to the airport because my Audi had started making a really LOUD noise that seemed to be related to the rotation of my tires. I was concerned that it may not be safe to drive. After a test drive and a quick trip up on the lift it was determined that the cars front shield had broken loose and was scraping against the front wheels. 5 screws and 30 minutes later my car was back on the ground and ready to be driven home. This is not the first time the EB folks have been a great help in a service emergency. They also do regular maintenance on the Audi and help keep our 1986 BMW 325e on the road. The people and the service here are top-notch!

We have received consistently superb service and support from Eastside Bavarian since the very beginning. They are very responsive and straight-forward; the car is ready when they say it will be, at the projected cost; the technicians are highly competent; and we have never been surprised. They also are very clear at differentiating between what really should be done now and identifying what can be deferred. Finally, the staff is invariably friendly and courteous and willing to answer any question (even the dumb ones) about my car or BMWs in general. Eastside Bavarian has earned our absolute confidence and we highly recommend them (note: we have experience only with the BMW service, but are confident that they use the same approach to service on the other marks that they support). Definitely "5-Star"

These guys are by far the most helpful Ive had to work with. The only concern I have with them is when I took my car into Redmond European for a check on a coolant leak, they changed my oil while I was there, and told me that whoever did it last (Eastside Bavarian) had overfilled it. Im hoping whether this was true or not, that it wasnt intentional. I havent had any other service concerns. Ive come to these guys in a pinch when my coolant was low and they filled it for free. Theyve actually helped me troubleshoot issues over the phone with my car rather than telling me to bring it in right away. Overall, a great choice. I have no worries that theres lack of care or service with this shop. And ultimately, if anything goes wrong, the work is under warranty ;)
