I had my Odyssey transmission rebuilt. They did a free assessment and estimate. They offered a competitive price. The rebuild took about 4 days. Two weeks later the transmission leaked fluid all over our driveway. I took it back in, they repaired it and were very kind about it. 4 Weeks later, it leaked again. The driveway and undercarriage were wet with transmission fluid. I took it back it and it was fixed over night. They also cleaned the undercarriage. They are very kind and helpful. But, I am not thrilled with the quality of the mechanical service provided. Id give them 2.5 stars, but bumped it to 3 since its not an option.

AAMCO in Santa Cruz rebuilt the transmission for my Toyota about 1.5 years ago and I have not had one problem since I drove away. They asked me to return in 10 days for a quick checkup just to be sure there were no problems after I was able to drive my car for a while. I did not need an appointment and they were able to take care of me right away. Since then, I have been back to have several repairs done on my vehicle including the brakes and they have always treated me with respect and courtesy. 12/20/2009

I was in a pinch. I flew out from Boise to buy a van in California. It had some transmission problems. They were totally booked and stacked with vehicles, but they still sent one of their guys out for a test ride with me. I got an honest, professional opinion from them. Im grateful they helped me out in a pinch. I wish I could have given them my business but I had get the van back to Boise. Thanks guys.

Terrible service. Out of all the underhanded, shady experiences Ive had, this one was the worst. Car broke down half a mile down the street after we picked it up. Kim was so rude and unpleasant, didnt even bother to take it back. Went to Monterey Bay Automotive instead! They were wonderful. Didnt charge for diagnostic. Honest, wonderful guys. Kim, just awful. Apparently the owner of aamco. Boooooo.

GREAT JOB FOR THE CREW AT SANTA CRUZ AAMCO. I BROKE DOWN, OUT OF TOWN FROM NY. THIS WAS A WARRANTY ISSUE, BUT AAMCO STEPPED IN AND TOOK CARE OF ME. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS AT THE WARRANTY END. ONCE THAT WAS SOLVED. I WAS ON MY WAY. 5 STARS TO KIM AND HER GREAT STAFF IN SANTA CRUZ CA. THANKS MIKE

It is 2017, when are these businesses going to learn they should be open on the weekends? I would have given your company money, since Jiffy Lube has terrible reviews, yet you arent open on weekends. Now, I will go out of my way to give your company money.

All I can say is that place is amazing, mechanic will show you exactly whats wrong and they wont even charge you more than anywhere in fact I was only charge for the fluid even though they spent 45 minutes working on my car and replaced a filter and Gasket.
