One of the most important things to me about an auto repair shop is that they be trustworthy. I’ve tried several shops on the Eastside, and the one I trust most and will keep coming back to is Plateau Motors. I can’t tell you how many hundreds of dollars Geoff has saved us by being honest about what work actually needed to be done and what could wait, while other shops were just piling on the list of work that was “urgent”. He’s also helped us avoid very costly mistakes in used car purchases with inspections before we bought used cars. He keeps up to date on the latest advances in automotive repair. The shop and waiting area are clean and comfortable. He takes time to explain work that needs to be performed and even shows me parts that he has had to replace to demonstrate why it needed to be done. I would recommend Plateau Motors to anyone and I will continue to return to them for all of my automotive repair needs.

I took my BMW 2010 X5 48i to do Brake Job. Geoff charged me $234.56 for front brake pad, $292.06 for front rotors & $ 252.20 for rear brake pad, $275.76 for rear rotors. After repair, he refused to give me the copy of part receipt with stupid excuse, then I found he charged me at least $150 more on the parts ( if he used BMW genuine parts like he claims,which I will find out soon ). I gave him permission to fix it at 3 PM, and picked up car at 5 PM. Even if I assume he had BMW genuine parts at 3 PM ( highly doubt it !), for 2 hour labor, he charged me $468 . When I turn to leave the store, saw the wall has slogan written " Integrity, Excellence, and Value ! " ... Shame on You ! Please ignore bogus reviews ( these not detailed review usually done by friends & relatives) and only pay attention to detail reviews....

I had been delaying going to the repair shop with my 2 vehicles and when I brought my first vehicle in for a number of issues the owner of Plateau Motors Geoff stepped me through the required repairs and made a few more possible repair suggestions that were completely optional at this time. I felt that Geoff was going to make sure all safety items were going to be addressed and at the same time he was very fair with his pricing. He is aware of everything going on in his shop. No absentee owner here. I was so pleased with how things were handled with the first vehicle that I scheduled to bring in my 2nd vehicle the next day. My parents were up visiting and they bought our Honda Accord car from us and my dad wanted to have the brakes checked since he bled them and they still had issues. We took it over to Plateau Motors along with calipers we purchased from a local store and they were able to assess that it was the calipers and they fixed them for my dad the same day. They are very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable and I just took my Pilot to them to check on what we believe is an alternator issue. Their price was reasonable to replace the calipers so I am sure they will be reasonable to fix the issue we are having with our Pilot.

Hard to find an automobile shop where the work is done this well and the owner stands up to his word. I have used their service several times and appreciate honest reliable work. Sammamish would be the poorer without this kind of service. I have no intention of going anywhere else!

They were fast, friendly, and did a quality job. They are a local owned company and I really liked working with them. Thanks for fixing my car. They seem to do any repairs. I got my water pump replaced, air box replaced, motor mount replaced and belts replaced in a day.

Geoff the owner is the most honest mechanic and business owner Ive ever met! He knows how to actually diagnose issues with vehicles and not just guess and replace parts like lots of other mechanics.

Took my Dodge Journey in with an engine light on. They charged me the diagnostic fee, but told me the dealer in Kirkland could fix it for free. Only real gripe is the high diagnostic fee.
