I have been using these guys about a two years and they started off Ok . But I am noticing a trend . They should be wearing clown suits and carring shotgiunsbecause that is there current approach. For a wheel bearing they repalced the whole Hub assembly . For a vibration problem I was having they replaced the steeting rack . The problem was a cheap CV axel they had replaced two years ago. When I examined that part is was old and rusty and factory one that was still in place wasnt and had a counter balance on thte new part didnt. For a oil leak they basically shotgunned every gasket except the on that failed and I had to take it back in because there was still a puddle of fresh oil on the same spot on the engine, Also twice they recorded the wrong milage on the receipt. And were kind of indigent when I insisted that it be change to the proper millage out. Also they are high priced which I figured was Ok if they did a good job and used good parts but it aint happening for me at this place.

I was very fortunate to have my car serviced and returned to me by the end of my work shift. This shop was very professional and to the point. The only person I dealt with, Phil, was calm, reassuring, and knowledgeable. I can say that it would have been more reassuring to have a breakdown of costs before accepting the work. For example: the per hour cost for labor and the breakdown cost for materials and parts. I was desperate and could only agree to whatever I was quoted hoping that I was not being ripped off. This was not the case and this shop did a superb job. Thank You, thank you, thank you! I will definitely recommend your shop to family and friends!

Took my 01 BMW 330i in for a tranny service. Ended up getting a $1500 bill for a crankcase relief valve or something like that. Took the car on a trip the weekend afterwards and it started acting up. Called and left a msg regarding the tranny service I had originally asked for. Was told that BMW never need a tranny service. I explained what was happening and he said that theyd get the car down to their shop and look at it. Here it is 3 weeks later and no contact and no return of calls and the car is not safe to drive. $1500 for nothing because it still leaks oil, which I was told that the original repair would correct......

NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! These guys didnt even scan my car to see what codes came up! They just tore my engine apart (charging me labor), made up some bogus problems, and tried to tell me I had to drop $2800 MORE to fix everything. I told them no thanks and asked them to just put my car back together. When I went to pick up the car it was miss-firing and shaking all over. THEY ACTUALLY MADE MY CAR RUN WORSE!!! I Then took the car to AE Motorsports, who SCANNED it for codes, like professionals, found the REAL issue, and fixed it for a much more reasonable price. DOC AUTO SUCKS!!!

My car broke down on my honeymoon, had my car towed to DOC Auto refereed by AAA. It took myself calling several times to find out the status of my car, to know if I needed to book yet another hotel. They were extremely rude and disrespectful. A week of my car being in the shop, I got my car back to find it covered with mice feces inside and my maintenance required light on. They also charged me for 3 parts/labor, that were never actually replaced and in turn my air compressor exploded. They would not work with my shop back home, nor follow through on their Warranty. Just a suggestion dont go to this shop.

I highly recommend Doc Auto. The owners, management, technicians, shuttle personal were all professional and friendly. I had my 1992 Chinook Concourse motorhome towed and serviced and they were right on with their diagnosis and resolutions of the problems. I originally called them because my previous auto repair technician Nick (owner of Konards Auto Haus of Scotts Valley) started working for them and I got a post card inviting me for a low cost oil change, etc. I was elated to find out that they would service my RV which many auto repair shops will not do. If I could give the team 10 STARS ..I would!

Scott is not just my customer service rep, he is a friend and makes sure quality work is being completed on my car. I drive a Porsche Turbo and Doc/Scott has never done me wrong and always is honest and treats you professionally. I am a life long customer of Doc Auto. The labor is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for and they warranty their work and I trust Scott. Thanks again Scott and the rest of the Doc Auto team for treating me like an old friend.

This place took advantage of my teenaged son by installing a new engine in his car. Not only did they overcharge him dramatically, but they installed the WRONG engine and if that were not enough, the WRONG engine was also defective. Anyone wanting confirmation of this story can call Santa Cruz Subaru and ask about the car belonging to Daniel Paris. DO NOT TRUST Doc Auto. They seem very nice but they are scam artists

Came into Doc Auto for a diagnostic for a check engine light 100dollars-took about half a day, and I needed to come back. Company rep informed me I needed to extensive work including both oxygen sensors and a transmission fluid flush. Estimate came out to be around 850. Doc Auto is unfairly priced and their employees exaggerate the conditions of vehicles in order for customers to commit to work on that day and time.

I almost never give 5 stars. I would have given 4 stars but it took more than 24hrs to get an estimate for work. If I had received an estimate within 24hrs or less of dropping off my car I would have give 4-5 stars. Other than that Doc Auto does good work. Their paper process has gotten slower this year since the corporate changes. Hopefully the paperwork process will catch up with the mechanics soon.

Brought my car in for right brake light repair, worked for about a week, then had to bring it in again due to both brake lights being out, worked for about 5 hours. Now, Im never going back again because they have poor customer service and do not do their job. When you pay someone to fix your car, it shouldnt have to be brought in three times to see what the problem is. It should be fixed!!

Called just to check if AAA took care of the issue after AAA had put in a tow order just in case my car wouldnt start off a jump. During phone call, Ken gave me a generous explanation and recommendation of what to check on my starter and starter wires. He offered a Starting and Charging test for $60ish. If thats standard, than this guy is to be trusted. Thanks Ken

I love that every time I walk in, the desk is busy - I take that as a sign of confidence in Doc Auto from the community. The work has been done on time and as far as I can tell, the quotes & final bill amounts are fair. The customer service is excellent, hence the five stars. Thanks!
