I had a leaked toilet and a shower drain back up at the same time. I called Roto-Rooter. They came and snaked clean out the pipe by opening a hole in the wall to access the pipe instead of removing the toilet to do so. I asked them why and they said once the pipe is cleaned out it will be all good. They proceeded to do the work and charged me $800 for it. The toilet continues to leak after they left and I had to call another company to fix it. Lucky I found Beacon Plumbing. It turns out the toilet flange was broken and needs replacement and the section of the pipe between the toilet and where Roto-Rooter cleaned out needs to be taken care of so major $$ to bring in equipment etc. So don’t ever hire Roto-Rooter (Not only was the work done wrong, the attitude of the employees were not professional). Beacon Plumbing did a terrific job. They were very professional: explained the whole problem, what needs to be done, why and cost and had my agreement before they proceeded. They even alerted me to print out the coupons from the website to get me a better pricing. They rock. If you have drainage problems, call Beacon Plumbing. Also, they found out the branch pipe from the house to the street sewer cracked in a number of places and needed replacement. They did the whole job including getting city permit and inspection etc all within a couple of days. Terrific guys. The plumber who helped me is Diontee and his apprentice Sam. Very professional, efficient and had my best interest at heart! They deserve more than 5 star!

I had a hot water tank leak I discovered at 8pm at night. I had called 3 other companies. 2 small ones that had no one available to help me and 1 larger one with horrible customer service. After a 14 hour day a work this was the last thing I wanted to deal with. I called Beacon Plumbing as a last resort and got Billy on the phone. Right away I felt like I was in great hands. He went above and beyond with his customer service on the phone and I was able to get the water turned off and the leak secured and ready for me to go to work and have them come out to look at the issue the next day after work. I made an appointment for 6pm-- they called to let me know with traffic they were running a little behind. Ned showed up and introduced himself and once again I knew I was in good hands. He saw the issue and right away he got straight to the point with price and issue and once I agreed he got right to work. Asked great questions like is it okay if he goes in and out by back door etc. He was in and out with a fabulous job done in 1.5 hours from start to finish and left the job site clean. I felt confident when he left that everything was done correctly. I am beyond impressed with the level of customer services I received. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. If you call in at night I hope that you get a chance to speak with Billy because he is awesome.

We called Beacon Plumbing at 10:00pm because our toilet would not flush. They told us over the phone $100 to respond but could not give us a full quote until they arrived. Shortly before midnight they arrived and gave us the shocking news it would cost $1,000 to just unbolt the toilet and run the snake down the line to clear the clog. We feel this company preys on consumers in desperate situations like ours. Pull the toilet, run a snake down the line and unclog some toilet paper and it cost us $1057.00!!! Took less than an hour and the technician was rude! Unless you have a spare $1,000 dont call Beacon!! We were left with the decision at midnight to say no and be stuck with no way to use the bathroom or to give in to their giant pricing!

I had a privilege of meeting Tony Hall yesterday. Our shop furnace went our a couple of weeks ago, which means we couldnt dry our customers rugs at The Area Rug Spa. Tony came out and saved us! One of his great qualities were looking through and taking everything apart to try to understand why the furnace wasnt kicking on. Everything was in order with the heater but it still wasnt wanting to work. So he proceeded to take apart things and started to notice the little things like connections a little off center. After he took apart it all and put it back together, the machine fired right up! If you need help with your heater, ask for Tony Hall!

We recommend that you DO NOT USE Beacon Plumbing. They came out to auger our kitchen sink that was clogged. They were here for less than 30 minutes, charged us $447.22, and when the problem was back again the following week and I invited them to come back out and make it right, so I could write them a great review and recommend them to others, their reply was, "We dont warranty drain cleaning... This is not something we bend on." Apparently they wont bend on their company policy to NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK?! Now we have to hire someone else to come and fix the clog when we have already paid them $447.22 to do this job!

I had Beacon replace a furnace recently and later found that their prices are not that competitive. I also found that the quality of the installation was not up to my expectations, especially for the price. Beacons warranties and policies are not that competitive either. Some of Beacons customer service personal did not act that interested (constant yawning) when talking on the phone and others did not do that great of job with researching my requests. That was a very disappointing customer service experience. I would suggest looking elsewhere first and then as a last resort give Beacon a call. By Jesse F.

In the midst of a broken pipe under the foundation crisis, these guys saved the day! We got quotes from 4 different companies, and Beacon was not only the most reasonably priced, but also the only company to suggest the method that would permanently fix the issue AND was covered under our homeowners insurance! Gene and his crew were amazing- they went above and beyond what was expected, were incredibly thorough, and cleaned up after themselves. 10/10 would hire again.

My water heater was flooding the bedroom closet at 11pm. I called and Paul and David came within 45 minutes! They were friendly, helpful and clean, making sure I understood what was being repaired along the way. They connected me with another company to help dry out the water damage and had everything repaired and drying in under 2 hours. It was great customer service, and I would recommend them highly.

Customer service over the phone was great. They said they would repair same day. The tech came, he was friendly but did not repair same day and just gave me a quote. Now the reason for a 1 star rating. The quote was more than $8000 and they said this will take less than 1 day. Since when do plumbers make $1000 an hour? $2500 for hot water tank replacement? Are you kidding me?

Extremely poor service. Hugely expensive. Company does not stand behind work. Had to have a 2nd company out to solve the problem 10 days later. 2nd company charged less than half and has. 6-month guarantee on their work.
