My first experience with Scottco was a hot water tank installation. He did a great job for a fair price. He beat two other quotes I got. The installation was 3 months ago and it has worked great. My second experience was tonight. Before I get back to Scottco, heres what happened: I came home Monday after work to a clogged main line...the whole house was backed up. I called Rescue Rooter because they had an $88 drain cleaning special. The guy spent about 40 min trying to snake out the clog. Another guy from RR came and put a camera in. To make a long story short, they diagnosed that I had a broken spot in my pipe that dirt and rocks had gotten into. They quoted me $5400 to dig up my yard and fix my "broken pipe". Scottco was my second opinion. He shook his head and guessed Rescue Rooter didnt know what they were talking about. He was right. Scott used his high pressure water jet cleaner and literally fixed my back up in 10 min. Water was free flowing! He put the camera down and inspected the pipe which was fine. The issue turned out to be a bundle of roots where the PVC connected to the old concrete pipe from the city sewer. He fixed in 10 min what Rescue Rooted couldnt plus they wanted $5400 for what would have been an unnecessary repair. From now on Scott will be my go-to plumber. If you live in an older house you need a go-to plumber that you can trust. I will be calling him from now on. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ADDENDUM 4/5/2017: Since my initial review, I have had to call Scott about 3 more times. I have a main line that comes from a basement, so there is not a lot of grade (slope) in the waste pipe. That is coupled with root problems that creates plumbing issues. Scott always fixes the problem quickly, and charges a very reasonable price. He is a journeyman plumber that knows his stuff, and he runs his own small company. When you call the rooter guys (ROTO, Rescue etc) you never know who youre going to get. They never were able to fix the problem as quickly as Scott, and many times they try to up-sell you with "problems" that are expensive to fix. (See the experience from my initial review.) Anyway, if youre in the S. Puget Sound area, I highly recommend ScottCO Plumbing!

A 5-star rating! One of the most honest and reliable plumbers I have ever dealt with. Yesterday, on Sunday, our basement sewer line became clogged. Not know what to do, I opened the phone book and called the plumber with the biggest ad -- what a big mistake! They sent out a young man who attempted to snake out my drain line. After 30 minutes, he started talking about having to excavate the driveway and install an entire new sewer system for $10,000-$15,000. My wife and I were in shock. I called a friend who owns a plumbing supply business and he referred me to SCOTTCO. Scott and his crew were here Monday morning and within an hour, he had the problem solved, for well under a thousand dollars. He used an optical cable to look inside the line and determine that it wasnt destroyed, just clogged with debris, which he blasted out. I am greatly indebted to Scottco. They couldve ripped me off for several thousand dollars and I wouldnt have known. Instead, he was very knowledgeable, honest and professional. I will use him for life! GREAT COMPANY!!!!!

I originally called Scottco Plumbing to have a radiator moved out of a room in our house for hardwood installation. When I called he came out that day to give me an estimate, said he could move the radiator and put it back when we were done with the work. A week later he was scheduled to come out and put it back. That day I discovered our shower drain was clogged from some unknown substance, afterwards went downstairs, and discovered it was raining from the light fixtures in my kitchen! I called Scott immediately and he told me (very calmly) not to worry that hed be by in a bit to see what was causing the problem. He showed up with his tools, unclogged my drain and gave me some silicone to put around the lip of my shower. Problem solved! His pricing is extremely reasonable and he is very knowledgeable. If I had to describe him in one word I would use integrity. Ive got a hundred year old house so hes on speed dial. Thanks Scott!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! Scott was prompt, courteous, very knowledgeable and most of all HONEST!! I had no water pressure in my guest bathroom shower. I had another big name company come out and basically rip me off charging me over $600 to do nothing and tell me while looking in a book (yes I did say a book to see how much they should charge me) I needed to have that bathroom repiped, to the tune of $2800. All while never really even trying to fix the problem. Needless to say that made me very leary of plumbers. Then I found SCOTTCO. Came and looked at the problem and fixed without a hitch, at a reasonable price. Scott youre the man, you jokingly said that other company hit a homerun. I say this with the utmost sincerity youre an MVP in my book. SCOTTCO hands down best plumbers around. ROCKSTARS!!!!!

A pipe broke in my basement, requiring me to shut my hot water off. I Googled plumbers and Scottco Plumbing popped up on top of the list with excellent reviews. So I gave him a call and Scott was at my house 15 minutes later. Scott told me it would be a simple fix and that he could do it now. 45 minutes later, I was as good to go. Scott guaranteed his work and even discussed upgrading my plumbing down the road. I assumed I would go a day or two with no hot water because it was 5pm, and that the repairs would have cost me double or even triple for “after hours”. Scott was super fast, fun to talk to, and you couldn’t beat the price. I highly recommend Scottco Plumbing and would defiantly do business with Scott again. Thanks!

We had an upstairs toilet leak through the ceiling downstairs. I called Scottco at 8 in the morning and they were there by 9. Phil was super friendly, gave me a honest opinion about a project that I thought we should do and he didnt agree with, and he didnt flinch when I threw the rest of my plumbing to-do list at him. Even better, I called them back the next day to ask a question about how long to air out my ceiling before drywalling it again and they not only remembered my situation (which I didnt think was THAT remarkable) but they took the time to answer all my questions without making it seem like they were trying to get off the phone. I will absolutely call them again in the future.

I had a great experience with these guys. I had water flowing from my driveway from the washer out the driveway like a river. I was concerned, I had a cracked pipe and was getting bids from other companies to come out and tear up my slab in my basement and replace the pipe. We had a discussion on what was going on and he simply put it. "you have a clogged pipe." sure enough It all made sense in our discussion. I went ahead and 2 hours later scotts coworker had the pipe clear, and ran a camera down there and came back looking good. Ran a full load of water in my washer and no water came flow out the driveway. highly recommend these guys, great attitudes, great price. Brian Hart.
