This place will work for their customers. I rented out the gym for my daughters 2nd birthday party. I called and scheduled the date over a month in advance, for Saturday at 4pm. The week before the party they call and confirm that our time is SUNDAY at 4pm. I tell them it isnt, and wed like our Saturday time back, but they have someone else under that day and time and cannot give to us. Because of this, people couldnt show up to the party since they had it in their schedule for Saturday instead of Sunday, which includes people coming from out of state. Not only that, but the Seahawks game was at 5:30pm that day (theres no way I would have schedule the party that close to the game). In the end, we had a lower than expected turnout... a whole gym with not a lot of people. I raised the issue with management, who actually fought FOR ME with upper management as I made my case and they relayed it to the owners. They ended up refunding me some of the money, which I told them was fair. The gym itself is excellent. This is a quality facility. But remember, it is a gym, and it smells like one (youll get used to it in 10 minutes)! The staff was excellent, helping out with the birthday party more than I expected. Very nice and professional. I recommend Metropolitan Gymnastics.

Metropolitan Gymnastics is a fantastic organization. We had our kids enrolled for an extended period of time, and loved it. We came to Metro from another club in Auburn and the two experiences could not have been more different. The coaches care about the children - not just as athletes, but as whole responsible, hard working, mature people. Club gymnastics is not cheap and the owners understand the sacrifices that families make to have their children involved in gymnastics. They dont view parents as an unfortunate but necessary means to dollars. They are able to walk the delicate balance between gaining respect as coach (for the kids) while being respectful towards parents who are paying the bills. While my childrens "gymnastic careers" have come to an end, my whole family will look back fondly on our experience for years to come. We are grateful for Yulia, Guinadi, PJ, Lu, Shirlene, and all the other coaches and staff at Metro. I will always encourage any parent to looks towards Metro for a great experinece

There are some less-than-kind reviews about this gym so I wanted to write a review from the perspective of some one with a 5-year-old who just loves gymnastics and does it for fun. Obviously its just for fun, shes only 5! When she was 2.5 we did a toddler gym program at another nearby gym and it was fine for that. We took a long break and when it was time start going again I wanted to try out another gym. We checked out Metropolitan gymnastics and my daughter just loves it and her coach. At least at this age there arent that many kids, which means her coach is only dealing with 3/4 girls at a time. My daughter gets lots of one-on-one attention and her skills are improving. She even *wants* to go to open gym on Saturdays. You can try out the gym for free so why not give it a shot?

Kids love it and classes are fantastic for after school kids activities this is one of the best places in the area. Kids getting stronger every week and you can see results almost right away. Bad smell is of the things we dont like , I think owner needs to clean this place better then usual since dust is everywhere on the walls and stands, prizes section, pictures, etc. Over wise it is great place to involve the kids into sport instead of watching TVs and playing video games.

at first i was worried about how aggressive the coaches are, but my son loves the program and he looks forward to every practice. he has improved so much since day 1. every time we go to a meet, we can see the improvement in his scores/performance. they are caring and great coaches. i plan to let my son go here for a long time.

First few levels are taught by high school kids it seems. Come eval time, perform said skill on que or spend an entire season in the same level again (even if youve done well on other skills). Disappointing. Get skills somewhere else first, then come back in the higher levels.

When they have their competition events here the seating is horrible. You would think with how much every one pays for their kids to do this the seating would be better. And why does it cost hundreds of dollars a month and you cant let me attend my kids events for free??

Metropolitan has a phenomenal gymnastics program with coaches who are very educated about the sport of gymnastics. The staff is very nice and exceedingly interactive with the kids. The facility is wonderful, too!
