I went into here to get healthier. I got nothing, but a headache. Being enthusiastic, I signed up for Fitness Trainer. I was told that I could use any alternate payment before my due date, pay for the Trainer. I went to pay before the due date and the Receptionist stated that the payment was already in-process, since it was within the "5-day window". To remove that payment from the provided credit card, I would need to pay in cash. Since I never keep cash on me, I decided to come back later. I was not able to pay using an alternate card, so it went on the card I gave them. I decided that since I wasnt able to pay on time, I just cancel the Fitness Trainer. Wrong. I was "locked in" for a full year contract. 50% of the "Balance" of the full year contract needs to be paid upon the next billing cycle, if you cancel. They offered no way to pay online or any amount ahead of time. Everything, except for the cancellation of the Fitness Trainer, must be done at the gym. The only way to get out of this contract is to get a doctors note stating I cant do physical exercise or move 25 miles away from the gym. I immediately went to 24-Hour Fitness, where you can track your Fitness with a mobile app, you can come in anytime you want, and you only have to pay for a month-to-month payments.

The General Manager refused to let me take a break. The Operations Manager tried to cover it up by asking me to quit. When I called the HR Department they told me I was not entitled to a break on a 6 hour shift!! they withheld my paycheck and still have not paid me for three days of work. When I called them again, they denied that I ever called them! like the third or fourth time-it hit me! the HR department is a call center designed to dismiss employee complaints. Washington State Law requires a 10min break and 30min for 5-11 hours of work. I worked 6 hours! I cant believe an entire HR Department would lie and break the law like this! You would think they would hold their management team accountable and follow Labor Laws. Not only are they ripping off consumers but they are also ripping off their own employees. The ones that are already low paid and doing the actual work. Despicable company. I will never get a gym membership from these people and will warn others not to put their money into supporting such terrible business practices. Also, they fabricate their pool checks and sauna checks. Its disgusting! Good luck if you actually swim here. Too bad zero stars is not an option.

Having a horrible experience. I can never find the weights I am looking for or if I do, I end up spending half my time walking around the gym looking for them. I am someone with a busy schedule and only have so much time to spend at the gym. I cannot be productive here when the staff does not regulate the gym or help put things back so others and I can find what we are looking for in a timely manor. When I asked the front desk gentleman, I got a well we try to tell people attitude and then went back to his phone rather than help keep the gym in order. I have had this problem here for a while and nothing has changed. The staff posted signs a while back about memberships being revoked if members were found not to be keeping the gym in order, but this still has been happening so I am thinking these are empty threats and the rules are not enforced. I do not pay to come here to waste my time. I left tonight unsatisfied, frustrated, and couldnt complete my workout.

Its got free weights, machines, "classrooms" for bike/aero/dance, sauna, pool, lockers, showers, so by that measure its got the works. I personally dont get the lack of towel service, its a gym after all, and humans do sweat. Not looking for it to be free, just have it (option). Its available at signature locations after all (again, I know the difference, and not looking for a freebie). I think the frequency of locker/rest/bath rooms maintenance should follow membership traffic - eg. more frequently at peak times. More to do with members but since people are people, ensuring weights are in racks instead of sitting "somewhere" in the gym is probably a great idea (gym floor maintenance). Its a high traffic gym at peaks, so things can get pretty frustrating looking for a pair of dumbbells. All that said it is what it is, maybe Im looking for a club

I invited my friend to the gym. My friend gave all the required information, and his driving license, but the customer service didnt treat him fairly. The customer service guy was unprofessional and undisciplined. My friend didnt want to continue further dialogue, and he went back home .The customer service guy denied my right to have a gust pass paper too. He said “I will not give you because you may go to other Gym and use it. This guy got hired to give good customer services for the club members, but He is acting like a dictator. It was a horrible experience .He needs further training, or LA Fitness should hires professional and disciplined customer service person. If you care anything about Customer service dont go there. I wouldnt recommend this place. They are unprofessional. I wish there were negative rating.

What I do not like about this place is the fact that everything is located upstairs, without an elevator. I cannot take my elderly parent there. Moreover, there are a few handi-cap machines downstairs that constantly have non-handicap people using them. The staff does not ask them to use the machines up the stairs. Additionally, people sit, holding the machines while texting. You cannot get on a machine because they are using them and cannot hear you with their earphones one, and, again, the staff does nothing. Lastly, the staff does not ask people to stop dropping the weights so there is constant banging and clanging which is not healthy for your ears. (Other gyms have signs warning people not to drop weights and not to hold machines). If these were fixed I would give better review.

Despite all the bad reviews, I really like it here! The hours are fantastic during the week - I can go before or even after work, which is great since I usually work evenings and most places are closed by the time Im off. Its never crowded, I can always get the machine I need, never noisy, and the staff stays out of my way if theyre not smiling and waving at me! Some machines break sometimes, which happens, but its never a hindrance. I always feel like the front end is overstaffed, though, and the employees just sit on the counter and chat, which I would write my employees up for if I managed the place. Overall, I like it just fine!

Worst gym I have been to. Watch out people, if you get personal training from the men at this gym you will regret it. They have been known to cheat you out of your money. Also, the facility is always running out of supplies. The instructors they have are great if they dont get too jealous or sneaky. People really kiss a$$ to maintain their position, which is BS. They dont even do anything, just sit there. Watch out for the general manager, he is sneaky and will make up his own rules claiming they are corporates.
