Ive had a few good haircuts here, and two indisputably awful ones (despite having pictures and explaining what I wanted, for even a simple cut). Still, every time I got that $6.99 coupon Id rationalize to myself that it was too good of a deal to pass up and that a basic trim couldnt be screwed up too much... This went on for 2-3 years. What finally made me stop going was one stylist (who might be the manager, actually). I dont know her name, but she had really bad yellow-y blonde hair for a long time. Her haircutting skills were OK, but her personality was HORRIBLE. She was sharing really inappropriate personal details about her life (waxing her friends genitalia the weekend before) and cackling insults about a customer at another station who was asking questions. The 20 minutes of time I spent with this woman was enough to make me finally find a new salon. The Hairmasters in West Olympia has similar prices, but with talented stylists who can both cut hair and not be obnoxious and rude. I suggest everyone check them out.

Well I read all the reviews but decided to give it at try anyways because the other barber that was close looked super sketchy! I got seated and realized that my hair cuter lady was wearing panties with stretchy pants. Everyone knows you gotta wear a thong with stretchy pants. Im a guy and I even know that. So anyways, I told her what I wanted and it was goin pretty good until, "WTF! Where are my sideburns!?" So it turns out she misinterpreted my instructions so I was super upset about that! So she continued and finished the hair cut. It ended up lookin pretty good considering the fact that I looked like G-Eazy with him being a good rapper and all. So ya, I dont mean for this to be a bad review, Im jest telling about my experience. My neck does kinda hurt right now but thats probs jest because my hotel pillow is too thick.

Today I went in to get my normal haircut, which is usually no problem at all, but when Brain started giving me a haircut and I could tell right away that he didnt know what he was doing. I let him continue giving me my haircut, giving him the benifit of the doubt. when I was finished I did not notice how bad my hair cut really was. when I got home I noticed I had some scatterd patches on the back and side of my head. I wish I never would have paid for the HACK job Brain gave me. Now I have no other option but to get my entire head completely shaved. I will never return the great clips again. Thanks for making me looking like a clown BRAIN, and for making great clips look like "CRAP CLIPS"

I went in and asked for a trim. I even clarified that I wanted 1/2" cut off. The very first cut the girl made too 4" off of my hair. What the heck?! It was absolutely ridiculous! She then informed me, "your hair is too heavy at the bottom and needs some layers added." NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR! By the time she was done (yes, I let her finish because I didnt want to leave with one very short side and one long side) my hair looked horrible. I ended up having to go to another stylist to have the haircut fixed (it turned out very well). I will NEVER for any reason go to this salon again, nor will I EVER recommend anyone else go there.

I went in with the picture of the haircut I wanted, and first the lady didnt want to look at it, then she completely ignored it, and every time I asked her to do something she fought me on it. She got the back of the head right, but I eventually got so sick of having to come up with an argument for every little snip that I just let the bad haircut happen to me. It wound up lop sided, and I had to go home and cut it myself.

She didnt even look at the hair cut I walked in with. Now I have the worst hair cut ever. I will never go here again and I will stop friends from ever going here. It looks like I went on base and asked for a bad hair cut. Do you know how long its going to take me to grow my hair back. So. She jacked my head up, but I have to live with it and its the day before the weekend. Thanks for making me look like a tool.

Ive been coming for years and they seemed to do fine but the last two times they cut my hair horribly. when I asked for a small hard part on one side they decided it would be a good idea to put like a quarter inch part on just one section of the part. wow thanks... guess I have to wear a hat for a while. Just the quality of the hair cut is awful but the customer service is wonderful.

I went to this Great Clips hoping it wasnt as busy as the Tumwater location. Very happy I went their. The hairdresser did an outstanding job. Very impressed with the cut. My hair is short (pixie cut) so they have to know what their doing. One small mistake really shows on pixie cuts. Give her five stars. I will go back to this location.

Sent a friend there and her son and the stylist best up on both of them she was pissed when she left she didnt get what she wanted and her son didnt get a finished hair cut at all Im FURIOUS about this I dont know if I want to come back now I personally have had a good experience there so has my mom so Im SERIOUSLY shocked

I saw a couple negative reviews about this Great Clips before going in, but gave it a shot anyway. Received quick and professional service, and got the haircut I needed. Carin did a fantastic job with a medium fade, and Great Clips even provides a military discount. I will definitely return in the future.

My stylist did an awesome job on my clipper haircut! Great Clips is very inexpensive. There is also an app where you can check in before you get there. I feel I should have tipped her better but I needed to break a $20 for the bus.

Got a good haircut but wow they were not customer friendly. Only 2 ladies working and they were both just cutting my and another persons hair while gossiping about OTHER WORKERS. Just rude and not professional

I was very specific with the stylist about what I did and did not want. Not only was she a poor communicator, she did just what I asked her not to do. I would not recommend this salon, nor am I going back.

Fast service, thorough friendly staff and good prices. Kinda hard to find, dont use maps, just look for all the shops near Fred Meyer closest to Pacific Ave.
