I originally went here because it is impossible for birds not to poop on my new car and there was about 2 or 3 spots where they pooped. I got their good car wash which was 8 dollars. They didnt prewash my car at all and on all the other cars that were around me I saw them doing it. So that made me never want to go there again even before going through their tunnel. After I went though I parked and got out and checked to see if they even got the bird poop and they didnt so I told them they had me go back through (kind of) scrubbing my car before and that didnt even get it off. Ended up driving down to olympia because I know of a 100 times better car wash. I would never recommend this car wash to anyone.

I just want to comment to the poster going to Olympia for a car wash. From Lakewood to Olympia is about 26 miles depending on where in Lakewood and Olympia. Assuming that you get 26mpg and nowadays the gas is about $2.70 per gallon. A round trip to Olympia will cost you $5.40 extra, assuming that you live in Lakewood. Then again, I dont know anything. Maybe you couldnt fins a better car wash and drove from Bellevue to Lakewood for a car wash. Sense any sarcasm in there? You should. I have been to Brown Bear about 10 times and never had any problem. The staff is always courteous and my car gets clean.

THIS PLACE IS AN AWESOME DEAL! I have a full size van that I use for my business, it takes forever to wash and gets dirty in no time. For approximately 5 bucks the Brown Bear does a great job! they also have at cart with hand towel left by the vacuums for any missed spots, rims and mirrors.

Always friendly and efficient, Ive been coming here for at least 10 years and never had s problem with an employee not being nice, sometimes I have to have my car rewashed be the fact that they will do that if there is an issue keeps me coming back. That and the low prices!

The self-wash option allows you to start with just a dollar. Once started you can add quarters or dollars. The real problem here is that using the vacuums seriously hampers use of the wash bays. Meanwhile on the other side of the automated wash, vacuums go unused.

Purchased the $20 monthly unlimited car washes plan. After waiting a couple of days to plan to activare, Ive taken the car through at least 4 times a week in the last month. You do have to vacuum your own car which costs a buck for a few minutes.

Came here for a wash couple days ago. Great employee. Great service. But whatever brush/material used for the tunnel washes are horrible. After wash, I began to notice scratches on the headlights and auto body. Dont think Ill be going here anymore.

F*** this place. The a**hole working there broke my electric antenna by shoving it down instead of letting me put it down. So now because if a seven dollar car wash I have to fix my car that wasnt broken until I went here.

Its ok to have your car washed here,but the water sprinklers some are broken dont do the job too well. I have been to auburn Brown bear car wash and their water sprinklers are efficient,theyclean the car good.

This Brown Bear location always seems to be alive :). I have always had great experience here. Some locations can be very small and tight, but not this place. There are plenty of room to move about.

Its hard to mess up a brown bear wash... only downside I found is that the in and out traffic from the cleaning station comes out in the same small driveway which is sometimes a very busy spot
