This place came recommended from a family member for service on my 2014 Accord that had starting issues. I dropped it off and got a call back that day to replace the starter. The price was good and said go ahead with the work. They completed the work in about 5 days and I picked it up, the cost was relatively good. After picking it up though it had more problems than when I dropped it off. My key fob wouldnt work at all, the gauges on my dash would move around on start up and freeze when I turned the car off, and the "check charging system" was blinking on the gauge cluster. I dont know how they could have let a car that had a bad key fob leave their shop, they had to have known that it didnt work otherwise they would have to unlock the doors with the key. Even if that somehow got passed their mechanics they had to have seen the warning on the dash. I feel that this place wasnt well equipped to handle work on a newer car with an integrated computer and larger amount of electrical structure than most older cars. I wound up taking it into the Honda dealership and spent another $200 on top of what they charged to have it diagnosed. They found a fuse that had blown for ECU that powered the memory unit for the power to the computer when the car was off. Every time the car was restarted the computer was reset causing the warning. The work they did on the starter seems good yet I question it now. Its frustrating that they wouldnt see these obvious warning messages when they finished their work and the fact that the car obviously didnt operate properly when I picked it up shows maybe they werent equipt to handle a newer car and maybe didnt have the know how to properly diagnose the car. It is iterating that I had to spend more money on top of their work plus take it to a professional dealership to have a fuse replaced that should have been taken care of by them. I would recommend this place for maybe older vehicles but newer models may need to be taken to another garage that can work on the newer structure of vehicles.

Brought my Beetle in to have the headlight replaced with a new headlight I had purchased. When it was done I was told that something was cracked so the headlight could not be adjusted. When I drove it for the first time in the dark I discovered that the headlight pointed more towards the ground than straight out. Totally ineffective! Especially since I have to drive 9 miles on a road with no streetlights. I called Tower to complain about this. I was told by Kristen that I brought my car in to have the headlight replaced and this is what they did. I did not ask for a diagnosis. How incredibly stupid and incompetent is this place? If something isnt going to work properly a mechanic that is any good would come out and tell you that there is a problem. They would also offer to fix that problem. Which would have made them more money. Now I am left with a shoddy job and a headlight that doesnt function in an effective manner. Kristin was rude on the phone and said that they did what I asked. Avoid this place! Wonder if that would have happened if my husband had brought it in. I am adding this additional note - My headlight that I had replaced was not illuminating the ground when I brought it in. So whatever they are saying was also broken was not before the repair. But it certainly is now!

They hate it when you have your own part. They put in a power steering pump and saw that it was leaking badly and made loud noises. What did they do? they left it in(they had the car all day) and did not put the old one back in. They knew it was a fail part and then tried to charge me again to put the old one back in... I also noticed that now my transmission is making noise. It was not doing that before so now I am wondering if they are messing with things to make more money off us. Anyway I took it to a different shop (which you should do) and had good decent mechanics solve the problem. Avoid this place unless you have money to burn. I also had them replace the heater blower motor. When I got the car back the blower still did not work. So at the next shop guess what it was? a fuse... they did not even check the fuse... They wanted to charge me to troubleshoot a damn fuse!

I have been going to Tower ever since they opened, Kirston, Danni, David and all their mechnaics have always taken care of my vehicle needs. I have watched Tower Automotive do nothing but grow over the past 3-4 years, from when it was just David to now 5 mechanics. Kirston has always been very friendly and knowledgeable, They have never over sold me and have always made sure that I was in control of what repairs were made. So far Tower has work on both my vehicles, my parents truck, my sisters Volvo and have been doing my best to spread the word to all my friends and co-workers. They have a very nice waiting room with wifi and coffee, and a super clean shop. I dont understand how anyone could not like Tower Automotive Thank you for viewing David Smith

Absolutely very unprofessional unethical and disappointed with there service! I dropped my car by 9:00am and 4:00pm rolled around they still did not accomplish a diagnostic nor a phone call to update me on status moreover, front desk personnel lied to me stating a tech had looked at the car but needed more time to complete a diagnosis! Please beware and communicate thoroughly if you ever decide to take your car to Tower Automotive. Be on guard!!!! Not the best experience!!!

They even have a fair pricing guarantee. David regularly calls with a mid-repair check-in to update me with what hes found and will not perform any unnecessary work. I absolutely love these guys. They are friendly... amazingly priced and patience of a Saint... The quality of work that we received here after dealing with several other places down in Portland was a major relief!!! It is about time that i can rave about something good coming out of Longview :)

Tower auto repair had the cleanest restroom and office that Ive seen in all of Longview and Kelso. David and his crew seem very knowledgeable, there pricing was good and even came under the estimated price. JOB WELL DONE. Its good to finally find a good mechanic
