I realize that Great Clips may not be first on anyones list for a high quality haircut. Conversely if youre on a budget and you know who to ask for you may be pleasantly surprised with the outcome. For approaching 17 years now Hong has been cutting / styling my hair with the same precision and quality one would expect from the trendiest salons. She has serious skills and I am not alone in this opinion. Its not unusual for there to be one or more customers that not specifically asked and are willing to wait to have her do their hair. See for yourself and if youre as impressed as I have been every 3 weeks for the last 17 years then PLEASE tip her well

The haircutters/stylists at this Great Clips provide a fantastic cut for me. I go in looking like a bum, I leave looking good, clean cut. In addition to cutting my hair, they (okay, I have a favorite; she) trim my sideburns, eyebrows, ears, and taper my neck. All for a fair price. Plenty of available parking, and if the wait is too long, a Starbucks is 2 doors down and a Qdoba next door. All in all, a good deal.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. You get what you pay for. After one person butchering my sons hair, I decided to give them one more try with mine. Bad idea! I was not happy with my cut, and asked the lady to even it up, and it was still really bad, didnt dry or style it either. I left the store upset and drove straight to Ulta where they fixed my horrible cut!

I checked in online and when I got there the stylist immediately barks at me without my asking that I am lucky she didnt remove me from the queue after 20 minutes and Id have to wait because she was only one there. Um ok..I didnt say anything. Needless to say I found Mountlake terrace on Google maps and immediately left and found a much more personable hairstylist.

Got our 7yo daughters hair cut and they were friendly and patient deciding how she wanted it cut, and it turned out pretty cute. The online reservation had her name up on the screen when we walked in so she felt all reserved & important :). Thanks
