I am a young-ish guy with thinning hair on top. I could hide it well, but if it rained or there was some wind I hated that you could look past much of my hair and see my scalp. Sides and horror stories kept me from wanting to use products such as Rogaine or Finasteride, so after looking through all the reviews for the Portland area hair surgeons, I decided on Dr. Fallons because he is purportedly the only legitimate surgeon in the area, as well as highly vetted. When I met with him I never had any doubts of his validity and experience. In fact I was only more assured. First off, the free consult was extremely helpful. He was friendly, very informative, and very thoughtful. We talked a bit about travel, I told him I was heading out of country soon to work and that I wanted to deal with my thinning hair before I left. Though my mind was set on FUE at the time, he told me that Finasteride with Rogaine would most likely be enough and that he could even get started on writing me a prescription immediately. He also sensed, however, that I was worried about the sides and that I wanted something more permanent. Even after being informed about the extremely rare case that I would experience side-effects, I was set on the surgery. It was then that he actually told me that FUT would most likely be the best way to go because I dont wear very short hair, I was headed for job interviews soon, and FUT grafts are actually more successful and actually much less costly. He gave me the website of the organization with which he is a part of and told me to do some research on my own before deciding for sure. I compared FUE with FUT and found that he was correct. At that time, at least, FUT is the best option for those who dont wear their hair very short and need to keep their hair length intact. When I called him back he wanted to schedule me for a few months later, but then I reminded him I had to leave the country. He actually moved stuff around to be able to get me in - no corner cutting or rushing, just pushed back some appointments. I know because I had to spend the entire morning and afternoon there (which actually literally only felt like a couple hours). The staff was great throughout the entire procedure. They were all cautious, from the surgeons to the technicians; they all emphasized care over speed, which I greatly appreciated and found to be extremely professional. Even though Im not a very talkative person, their banter was very entertaining, and I could tell from listening to it that they were very experienced, which put me quite at ease. They fed me, they offered some movies to watch while the techs seperated the folicles, they chatted with me in between. He even showed me the process of dicing up the donor graft they just took from my head. Any problems which were experienced were deftly handled (I was popping grafts because I was not taking the anaesthesia extremely well). At first this worried me a lot, but I can feel that nearly all of them have kept, and my hairline is definitely lower than it was even though Im still only in the 2nd or 3rd month. Most have already shed from shock loss and are starting to grow back as little prickly hairs. Overall I am extremely satisfied, and comfortable that I can expect much more coverage in these coming months. Random plus, I was charged for 800 folicles, but the graft they took had almost 1000. I was not charged extra, and all were used. I couldnt be happier with the entire process.

Dr. Fallon is incredibly personably and engaging. He listened to everything I said and offered great advice based on his experiences. I had my hair restoration procedure yesterday. Although it was an all day procedure the day passed quickly. i absolutely loved his support staff. We talked throughout they day while they were constantly working. I think there was a total of 5 staff members assisting with the extraction of my good hair, splitting of the roots, and then implanting in the thin areas. furthermore, Dr. Fallon continuously checked on me and gave me my pain meds whenever i asked. As if I wasnt impressed enough, Dr Fallon and his crew spent an extra hour on my procedure because he wanted to give me more transplant I slept great last night and i woke up without any pain or discomfort. i am going to jump on my riding lawn mower later today. i will keep this review updated to inform readers of my progress. so far, i am very happy that i met Dr. Fallon and had him perform my transplant procedure. He even called me this morning to check on me and see how i was doing and the staff gave me a "get well card" that was tucked in my care package. Great people, Great care and good follow up. 3 days after the procedure: I spent a fair amount of time on my yard this weekend(2 manicured acres), but I tried not to bend over too much and I purposely kept a modest pace because I didnt want to sweat. I slept perfect and didnt have any pain. I applied the antibiotic cream to the back of my head and a bluish-green spray that was provided by the doctor. Other than having little red marks on my head, I felt completely normal. I am back at work today wearing a handkerchief. I have shown my head to a couple of co workers. They didnt notice until they cam up close. Its been no big deal and I havent had any discomfort. Wish I would have done this a couple of years ago. Just glad I found Dr. Fallon and his team.

I will vouch for the positive posts here. Dr. Fallon and his staff are extremely professional yet compassionate. I have a scar on my upper lip from a cleft palate surgery and he helped me fill in where the hair was missing (FUE), so I can grow a complete mustache now, which is great for my confidence. It was somewhat of an unusual procedure for him and the scar is quite dense and sensitive. However, he was very accurate and generous with the anesthesia and there was very little pain throughout the process. I dont really have any constructive criticism, the whole procedure was top notch. Highly recommended.

I consulted with all 3 hair restorers in Beaverton. Dr. Fallon was the only one board certified in hair restoration, so I chose him. I couldnt be more delighted with the results. His staff were friendly and professional. The results were better than I envisioned, and Dr. Fallon went out of his way to keep me comfortable through the procedure and after. I highly recommend Fallon Hair Restoration!

I scheduled an appointment at 10 am , when I arrived the front lady tells me that my appointment is at 1 pm. She changed my appointment without informing me, and has the audacity to blame it on someone else. Wasted my morning and showed me how unreliable the service is. She had a smirk and a fake apology ... Her dimeanor was awful, gave me a sign to not use the service...
