If I could give USPS in Puyallup, WA zero stars, I would. I just talked to the rudest person Ive ever talked to and had the worst experience with any postal service Ive ever had in my life. I recently ordered a package from an online seller who sent the package via UPS mail solutions. Apparently, this means that UPS sends it part of the way and then USPS delivers it to the customer. My package was supposed to be delivered on the 28th of November and it is now the 4th of December. I called UPS and gave them the tracking number. They told me that I needed to contact my local post office because UPS had dropped it off there and it was no longer in their possession. Tracking information on UPS website confirmed that it was dropped off at the post office on November 24th. I called USPS in Puyallup (my local post office) where I encountered the rudest most unhelpful woman Ive ever spoken with in my life. She talked to me like I was a mentally handicapped 5 year old the entire time, while I continued to ask her why UPS had dropped it off and USPS had no record of ever receiving it. I asked her to please help me locate the package since apparently no one has it. Couldnt I put a trace on it? What could I do? I just wanted to know where my package was. She acted as though I was being stupid and annoying for trying to find my package as though I should just except that it suddenly ceased to exist or something. I simply want to know where it is! She said that USPS receives pre-shipment info before receiving their shipment from UPS or any other vendor. She says that all shipments delivered to USPS facility are scanned in same day or next day. It didnt seem to bother her that my package had been dropped off 10 DAYS AGO and never scanned. She kept claiming that USPS never received the package, only the pre-shipment info. UPS and their tracking info say that it was dropped off at USPS facility. DID IT GET STOLEN OFF THE LOADING DOCK? Theres really NOTHING they can do to help me? HORRIBLE customer service. I guess I should just accept that my package of expensive items just ceased to exist suddenly at some point. Great job, USPS.

[UPDATE #2: Received a call from another female office employee (Carol), who was following up regarding a stolen mail inquiry Id sent in via USPS site. I continue to be impressed with this office, and the attention to detail they put in if one simply asks. USPS has a huge burden now w/Amazon taking over, so its time to be a little more understanding when a couple out of 1000s of packages goes astray on any given day.] [UPDATE: The woman I originally spoke with regarding a shipping/delivery issue called me back within 15 minutes after taking my tracking info down, and explained about why my package couldnt be delivered; the address written was unclear. NOT USPS FAULT. She offered to hand write my address on the package and send it with them to deliver it tomorrow. VERY courteous! Upgraded review to 5 stars.] I was shocked when I saw how poorly people have rated this branch. Many of the negative reviews dealt with issues that were either misunderstood or the ball was dropped on important details (aka, didnt read the fine print or do any actual footwork themselves). >>>Regarding mis-delivery or non-delivery, I would be curious to know how many packages were actually from Amazon, and had been handed over to the black hole that is Amazon Logistics. If USPS is assigned to deliver my amazon packages, I breathe a sigh of relief knowing they wont disappear into the ether.<<< In all of my dealings with the 13516 Meridian location, I have been treated warmly and with patience when I am sending a package or just need a consult on the best way to send an unusual item.

Same as everyone else. They said they delivered a package (through tracking) but It was not in my locked mailbox. Went in to the PO to resolve and was told they would ask the mailman and call me back the next day. They didnt call me back the next day so I went in again, this time to talk to a supervisor. The supervisor emerged from the dimly lit crypt they call a sorting center. I would liken her facial expression and demeanor to that of a particularly dormant statue. She came loaded with a GPS print-off showing that my package had been scanned at my address and that it was probably stolen. After contemplating the bond-esque espionage required to break into an apartment complex locked mail box in broad daylight on a busy road I figured that that particular scenario seemed unlikely, especially considering the numerous google reviews that described exactly the same circumstances regarding mysteriously vanishing packages that were delivered diligently by our wonderful government postal workers. Apparently (according to the aforementioned statue) the postman that delivered my package was on vacation, surely recharging and resting from a hard days work of not delivering my package. TBC: Ill follow up when the postman is back from his siesta. TL,DR: They said they delivered my package and clearly didnt, or put it in the wrong box. Supervisor lacked customer service skills and seemed to climax at the thought of telling me to pound sand.

I went in to pick up a package and a lady named Kimberly did not even greet me with a smile, hello, nothing nice. Just a wave that seemed like she just wanted me to hurry up and get out of there. She was SO RUDE when I approached the counter and I told her I spoke with someone on the phone who just told me the package I was going to pick up was there and all I needed to give the person when I went in was an address... This is what I gave her and she laughed and rattled off a bunch of questions that I couldnt understand and rolled her eyes at me! Plain as day. I asked her why she was being so rude and talking to me that way and she told me that if I only come in with an address that is how she will be speaking to me. I could not believe it and I said just please try my address. Within 10 seconds she sighed and walked away and came back with my package and says "k youre all set" to hurry me out. I was THE ONLY ONE IN THE POST OFFICE!!!!!! I dont know what was so hard about that. I was in there for about 10 minutes of her treating me like dirt and it should have only taken the 10 seconds in the first place. Kimberly.. you need to work on your customer service skills. You ruined my day.

No one answered the phone during business hours. All you get is a recording with the hours they are open, and it tells you to call back during those hours. "HELLOOOOOOO????"...... I HAVE been trying to call during business hours! More and more now days....I deal with the P.O. and with LOST PACKAGES that also have tracking numbers.....but....no one seems to know A THING about where they are. What is the point in paying for tracking when it does no good on lost items? The Postal service keeps charging more money for postage these days...and what do we get for it? CRAPPIER SERVICE, as time goes on! Bad service.....all the way around. They can be RUDE and SO DISRESPECTFUL as well. Your supposed to be DELIVERING peoples mail and packages. What the heck are you doing now? Sleep walking through your jobs??? Now I know what the saying..."Going postal!", means. You make me want to pull my hair out!!!!!!!!! The Postal Service SUCKS! We pay MORE & MONEY.....for LESS AND LESS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STOP PASSING THE BUCK!.......and do your jobs!
