I had a Dell XPS 9100 series desktop that continually froze or blanked to the black screen of death or blanked to the blue screen of death. Suffered for several months with no luck using repair, restore, etc. windows features. Took it to an Issaquah Fix it service and was ripped off after waiting 2 weeks to find out what was wrong (did not really fix my computer). Was ready to replace the desktop with a refurb and piece it out someday when a co-worker recommended Dr. PC Fix in Redmond. The recommendation was so strong I thought it might be worth one try. Jesse was highly professional as well as sympathetic to my computer woes. He was consistently unable to reproduce my ongoing problem but agreed to re-load windows to see if that would work. It did not and he took the computer back to run more tests (no charge for the follow on investigation). Finally, he recommended plugging the computer into a different wall outlet using a different power cord suggesting maybe a power problem. Sure enough my endless months of computer torment are gone:) He hit it straight on the head. No more issues period. I have exercised the desktop back and forth from hibernate running my largest apps simultaneously. Only top notch performance. Thanks Jesse! E Smith

I tried to get help from Dell to fix my PC since I had built computers in the past. Dells dignostics on the phone (was not much) told me that the mother board was bad so I bought another mother board and installed it. After about two hours, I finished that task and rebooted the computer and had the same error message. I called Dell again and was told that the mother board must have been bad since they only sell reconditioned ones. I was done at that point not wanting to do it again and have the same result. Anyway , I had heard Dr. PC was a fair company to have your computer looked at and repaired. I did so and discovered that one of my hard drives failed. These drives share data with one another and when one fails, they both fail and no OS. Dr. PC figured this out immediatly and ordered a similar drive. They also recommended I mirror the drive in order to recover data in case of another failure and I said yes. Their pricing was fair and they were responsive with emails and phone calls letting me know what was happening. Guys, you get 5 stars from me and that is hard to get.

We brought in a very old laptop which crashed right before Christmas. We had already had it repaired once elsewhere, and we were dreading the idea of paying a ton of money to repair an old machine. We opted to have them retrieve whatever they could of our data/photos, and buy a new computer. We also brought in another old hard-drive which had our music library stored on it. Again, we had received a quote 5 times higher at another shop. Dr PC Fix retrieved our data from two hard drives (one for free) for a very reasonable price. They gave us the quote and had the work done the very next day. Great service, polite employees, and great communication in keeping us updated at a very stressful time. I highly recommend Dr PC Fix. We have learned our lesson the hard way and now have all of our kids photos, and all of our music stored separately, thanks to these guys. :)

I dropped off my laptop for repair after it stopped running in the middle of my wife doing some work on it. When I dropped it off he let me know that the diagnostics would be free and that he would let me know what repairs and costs would be later that afternoon or the next day if some of his earlier drop offs caused a delay in getting to it. He called me back in just a few hours to let me know that it was now running and that the cause was that somehow a few pins on the battery had become bent enough to short out. He also let me know that there would be no charge. It is very hard to find such honest and forthright service in todays hungry for a buck society. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone that needs repairs done on their PCs, laptops or mobile devices.

Laptop/PC issues ??…One can go closed eyes, with full faith this place…jesse is very honest and expert I dropped off my laptop on 10/03/16 as it wasn’t booting, & was almost sure it is something about hard drive cable or drive itself With no time, Jesse called me back and told your hard drive is gone & needs replacement…with no added tricks. I offered him 50$ diagnosis charges and said I will replace myself, I was sure as did before during college time too.. He gently replied,... no worries you can certainly, but I can’t take diagnosis charges as per policy.. I was quite impressed with his response and decided to go with his professional hand instead.. and all working back again

My desktop PC stopped posting so I took it in for the free diagnosis. I was hesitant at first as this was my first time taking my PC into a shop for repair, but it was worth it. Both Jesse and James were professional and friendly during every interaction. Their testing was thorough and they were able to narrow the problem down to a bad CPU. I RMAed the CPU, dropped it off the same day it arrived, and the guys got me back up and running. I also had them redo the cabling and it looks better now then when I took it in. I would not hesitate to give them my business again should the need arise.

My experience with Dr PC Fix in Redmond was fantastic! They were very patient with me with every question I had. Offered a quote well within 24 hours on a fix and offered options as well in case I wanted something a bit better. Then the turnaround on the fix was completed in less than 24 hours from when I dropped it off. I would recommend Dr PC Fix to anyone needing repairs to their computer. I understand that it can be hard finding a trustworthy and reliable company to do this (I have had terrible experiences with Best Buy before), but Dr PC Fix is the way to go.

EXPERT ADVICE AND HARD DRIVE RECOVERY for a killer price. Whether Linux, Mac or Windows, these guys know their stuff. Recovered data from a failed Windows hard drive at 1/3rd the cost of most places. And they DONT CHARGE YOU UNLESS THEY RECOVER DATA. So there was no charge for their time on a mere hope that something could be recovered. Theyre Windows, Mac and Linux-savvy, so they give good, even-handed advice for any platform. Highly recommended and good people in a tiny shop in the heart of Redmond a block away from Ooba Tooba.

Brought my PC in for diagnostics, after they couldnt solve my problem they called me to pick up my PC. When I got my PC back home, they not only didnt plug in half of the components, they didnt put the screw back in to hold my graphics card in place....There was also a component which wasnt mine in the PC. I dont mind that they couldnt solve my problem but the fact that they didnt even properly put my PC back together makes me question whether or not they broke any of my other components. Would not recommend this shop...
