Hate to write this but they should not even get 1 star given their mix up. They left a note on the door even though no signature was required and it was printed material clearly marked from a printers so nothing valuable except to me and my business. I called at 4:30pm and they told me I would get a return call within an hour with details whether they could re-deliver tonight or give me the location to pick up. No phone call. Instead the driver returned but I was at store and my son was upstairs, he came down and the driver was gone. And again no package. The agent said it is at the drivers discretion whether they leave it at the door! I wish I taped the call. Really?, the driver determines whether your package gets left at your door or not. Your instructions have nothing to do with it apparently. Theres also a lobby office in my complex that has a full time receptionist to receive packages (from Amazon, FedEx, USPS, etc. but clearly UPS doesnt follow that) ---instead they left a note on my door saying they would deliver next business day which is Monday 3 days later so I would miss the point of the rush I placed on delivery today to make a business event. So I now have to fight Friday evening traffic to go to their central receiving center to hopefully pick up my package. But the reviews on this site regarding the same incident dont look good!! I simply do not want to use UPS again. They have gone downhill against the competition, in my opinion.

terrible service, no clear directions of what the next steps would be. i was expecting a package to arrive on 3/11, but UPS came one day earlier. unfortunately, the package has to be signed and no one was home (they came around 1pm PST) to sign it, so they left a note stating that "THE RECEIVER WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF THE FIRST DELIVERY ATTEMPT. A SECOND ATTEMPT WILL BE MADE" and posted no time of when they will be back to drop it off again. Next day, they came again and as expected, left another note on my door that they will come back for a final time. I took a day off from work and stayed home to wait for them. However when they showed up, they did not ring the bell or knock on the door, but just left a note on the door and left. Now i have to drag myself out 10 miles again to pickup the package, otherwise it will be returned back to the seller, which Ill have to pay additional shipping cost to reship it again to my home. Id not recommend UPS to anyone. I think they are getting too big and the customer service has tremendously saturated.

Horrible service, sent a package from Disneyland back in November here it is end of February and they do not honor their insurance I paid for, I sent items home which arrived before I got here, guy left it on the porch in full view of a street with a school at both ends and lots of cars, package never showed up. I have been getting the run around from the tracking service who closed the case on 1/11 without any payment sent. Now I am still getting the run around stating Disney has to sign a letter of release so I can get payment for their screw up. I am giving phone numbers that do not work, they would not even give me the address of their tracking unit, only to say they need to work with the Grand California hotel at Disney, WHY. I shipped it, had my name on both the mailer and the person getting package I paid for the insurance (amount of $500.) so why is Disney getting my money. This is bulls**t. I am sick of the run around I am receiving. From now on use FedEX or the USPS. NOT UPS. Crappy service.

Couldnt get through to customer service to resolve my issue, even after wading through their automated "help line". Instructed UPS to leave package, they didnt and left me a slip to inform me that I wasnt there and I needed to sign. I signed slip stating please leave package anyway and left it where they originally put the slip. Got home from work expecting my package the next day and it was no where to be found. Instead I found my first slip exactly where I left it, and a second slip on the door leading to the side of my house. I contacted the shipper and asked if they required a signature for the package and they said no, and that they would contact ups to inform them to leave the package. After a while on hold the customer service rep came back on and said that I would have to instruct ups to leave it. Leading me to an hour of trying to reach their customer service line and failing.

UPS is consistently terrible, and any packages that go through Redmond, WA are almost guaranteed to be late for me. Currently have a package thats been in transit for 8 business days, arrived in Redmond on Tuesday morning, and is still sitting there as of Thursday afternoon, over 48 hours later. If Redmond is so overloaded that they cant bother unloading a package after two days, for delivery to a location an hour drive away, perhaps they should route it through a different hub. Ive literally never had a late package with FedEx and almost never with US Postal Service. In fact, FedEx and US Postal Service both often deliver earlier than scheduled. UPS never delivers early and has delivered late on multiple occasions, especially around the holidays, when it matters most. UPS will never get another penny from me if I can help it.

I had a package I have been waiting on that was out for delivery yesterday early AM that never showed up. I checked my phone at work and missed a call 5 minutes prior to checking it, it did not say the status of my package. But that he was calling in regards to it around 5pm, and would call back within the hour. I had my phone in my pocket for the next few hours and waited for delivery until after 8pm. I didnt hear back, and it never came. Instead now my tracking says it isnt available for delivery until mid next week. Which I wont be home for. Someone will be here to accept the package in my behalf, but I wont be here when I needed it yesterday on its delivery for this weekend. Very disappointed in their service here and the fact they didnt call back to explain anything.

I went there to pick a packet. The customer executives were ok. The problem was with the guard. I was on foot and being new to Seattle didnt knew my way to Customer Service Desk. I noticed a gate where trucks were going in and knocked on the gurad room to ask for directions to Customer Desk. Well to my surprise he was napping. He woke up because of my knocking and started screaming Get Back...Get Back. I complied and backed up few steps. And asked him to calm down but he continued his senseless tirade. I think that was totally uncalled for. If security is of paramount importance for UPS, which should be, they should hire guards who dont sleep on job. I think he was embarrassed being caught napping on job and tried to hide his embarrassment with his screaming.
