Let me first start out by saying they did fix what was wrong with my 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass. I made an appointment at their shop on 8/30/2009 to get my window adjusted. On 8/31/2009 I got a call from them and they told me the window regulator was and I quote "completely shot" so they had to order a new one. Well it turns out they do not make the part anymore so they had to find a used one which was fine. They found a used one for $150. It had to be shipped and they said it was supposed to be here on 9/8/2009 and they would call me when it came. So on 9/11/2009 I finally got tired of waiting and called them and they told me it arrived 3 days ago and they forgot to call me. So after that I took my car down and they finished my 1.7 hour job 4 days after I brought my car to them "was over a weekend". I got my car back on 8/15/2009. When I picked up the car I asked for my old window regulator back and asked what was wrong with it. Two employees looked at it and after 2 or 3 minutes none of them could figure out what was wrong with the old part. Then they told me that my manual window regulator was worn out “that is the best excuse if you have no idea what’s wrong with it”. When I got the car home I noticed the window worked but they did not install all the parts they took off. One window stop and the center piece the door panel rests on were sitting on the floor of my car. So after about 20 minutes I finished putting both parts they decided not to put back on and the window works great. Then I decided to look at the old window regulator I found out what they said was worn out and within an hour I had completely fixed the old part. I guess they just wanted $150 instead of fixing the old part that is not made anymore. Total cost $307.48 and 15 days “including shipping time” for a 3 hour job for them to adjust one manual window of my car. If my car had power windows I could understand this but since my car has manual windows and since I fixed the old part I cannot. Facts: Not 1 person from Taylors called me to let me know when I got my part in. Not 1 person from Taylors called me to tell me my car was finished. I personally fixed the old regulator they said was “completely shot” They did NOT install all the parts they took off. They left 2 parts to the door on the floor. If you would like your car done correctly, in a timely manner, without parts left over, and great communication with their customers then DO NOT go to Taylor’s auto body in Renton. Instead go to a good Repair shop like “Jeff’s Auto”. The only reason I did not go there is because I thought they did not adjust glass. Maybe if you read this you will not make the same mistake I did.

Do not go here...Even if your life depended on it because it will!!! Its a long story thats caused me a lot of problems ever since I came to this place called (Abra auto body and glass)...So if you dont feel like reading it. Just take my advice, dont go here. Basically, a person broke my passenger side window, in order to steal a speaker sitting on the seat. The next day I got a 100$ window replacement from safelite. Everything was fine with my vehicle except for a few scratches from where the thief left some prying marks on the siding of the door. I assume, In order to unlock it manually until he was trying too hard and just ended up breaking the window. Im thinking ok, no big deal this should be a couple hundred bucks and Ill be good...right? Anyway, My insurance (USAA) recommended to take my 2003 Infiniti fx-35 to (Abra auto body and Glass)... BIG MISTAKE! Abra billed me $4,900!!!! For some reason I had to get a new door? You gotta Realize, this car has nearly 200k miles.... My car was working properly and LEGAL when I took my car to their shop in (August 2016)... But when I left their shop, all of the sudden my car was ILLEGAL to drive... Basically my running lights were not working on the inside of the car and Oh yea and of course my car didnt have running tail lights either... (Good luck trying to find that out especially this time of year, unless you check your tail lights every time drive...) I brought it back to them to fix... They didnt know how to fix it... I called my insurance, they said to go back there and ask to speak to manager. So went back for at least the 3rd or 4th time... I asked for the manager but they didnt let me talk to anyone... They only let me talk to receptionist. Meanwhile 4 or 5 employees are out looking at my car. No one at Abra Auto knew how to fix it. All in all, I took it the Infiniti dealership and it was a blown fuse.. they fixed it in less than 3minutea and didnt charge me a dime. So trust me, you dont want to put your car in the hands of Abra auto or youll pay for it in more than just money...!

Ive had my vehicle repaired at this location 2 time previously and have had exceptional service, this time, not so much. Last week I was rear-ended and asked the insurance company if I could use this shop - they suggested another shop in the area, so I decided to get estimates from both. I stopped in on Wed. morning, there was not a car in the parking lot or a single person in the lobby, so I assumed my estimate would go quickly. The girl at the front looked up as I walked in (note, I did not say greeted me) - I told her Id like to get an estimate and she rudely asked if I needed an estimate or a ballpark figure. I told her it was for an insurance claim and she asked the company. I told her and she said they could schedule an appointment for an estimate for the following Tuesday - mind you, again, there was noone in the lobby, no cars in the parking lot and 4 employees all sitting at desks. I asked if they could just come out and take pictures and email me the estimate later and she said that would take too long - the best they could offer was the following Tuesday for an estimate. It says, plain and clear on their door - no appointment needed. I told her thank you, and walked out the door. I will not be back. The last time I brought my car there was about a year and a half ago - just as they were being bought out by ABRA care care. I experienced great service when they were not owned by ABRA - I cant help but wonder if the change in customer service is due to the change in ownership.

My husband was rear ended....the guy who hit him has safco and Safeco asked us to go here for a estimate. Safeco and the front door of the business say...no appointment necessary...so we go in. There is no one in the parking lot but us and no one in the reception area waiting. We ask for a estimate. The receptionist says they do not do them on the spot? I asked how long until someone would be able to look at it. (Considering there is no one in the lobby or parking lot I am thinking max 45 min...maybe someone is on a lunch break?). How is next week? Seriously...we need a appointment then....not like the door says? We end up scheduling the repairs for several weeks away because of prior commitments. We go at the scheduled time and the receptionist tried telling us our appointment was the week prior..no it is today...when you asked about last Monday we told you we couldnt do that money so we settled on this one. So?? No...we have to reschedule. Wow just wow. Mind you...again..No one is there ...no line of customers or people waiting. If the receptionist spent half as much energy trying to take care of guests as she did filing her nails (she was literally doing this while we spoke) maybe the company would have had my business
