I took my car in for some body repair, which ultimatly took about three days to fix. When you throw in the time for parts ordering and insurance confirmation, they estimated 1.5 weeks. At a week they said they were working on the car but running a little behind, and i should now plan for the two week mark. When I called after two weeks to pick up the car, they put me off again, and then called back to say they had the wrong parts. (they had not even started working on my car!). after three weeks, i finally picked up the car and although the repair looks fine, the car interior was covered in white dust. I can think of 4 or 5 instances where i gave the shop the chance to fix their mistakes (ie. upgrade the rental car) but eventually I was just glad to get it away from them.

I came in to Carstar a few weeks ago and asked about a repair to my Volvo. I told them I would be selling it, and they said that the repair probably wasnt worth it because Id never get the $ back from the repair. I bought a new car and was looking for someone to help me do some touch up on the damage instead, and went to them asking if I could pay to park it with them for a week while I was up in Canada and the guy who was going to do the touch up on my car would pick it up and drop it back off sometime during the week. They said no problem, no charge for the parking! What great customer service!

This auto body shop was one of several recommended by my insurance company, Ameriprise. On my truck they replaced my front bumper skin, grille, and windshield. I dropped the truck off Monday at noon and was able to pick it up Thursday afternoon. My repairs were probably not terribly difficult, but their workmanship looks good to me. They washed the truck and vacuumed it out when done. They also handled my rental car when I was done with it. I feel I received good service from this company.

Had an excellent experience with Phil and the guys at Hammer. They made my wrecked car look even better than it did before it was hit, looked pristine. When I went to pick it up and noticed a small scratch that my adjuster claimed was "unrelated", they dealt with the insurance company to get them to cover it and even called enterprise for me to extend my rental. I have referred several people there already and would recommend you have your car towed there for your body work.

I have been using Hammer Auto Rebuild for about 5 years now on several occasions (few small jobs and two large fixes after crashes). I have never had a bad experience with them and they have always done an outstanding job on my car. I always recommend Hammer to my friends and all of them are now loyal customers. Hammer is my choice for top quality workmanship, I dont even bother looking for anyone else because they have made perfect repairs on several of my vehicles. They matched my candy apple red on a partial paint job of my car so well, you cant tell five years later that it was ever painted!

They did great work the first time I brought my car in back in July. When there was another unfortunate accident in October, I brought the same car right back. The staff is courteous and helpful and they do great work.
