I went to evergreen rv to use their sewage dump and after finishing and paying i started my rv and was leaving parking lot when my starter stayed engaged. It died on me at evergreen rv And they said they wouldnt fix it . Also thayd have to have it towed if i didnt move it. Anyway i live in my rv and am dying from kindney failure and have to do dialysis 10 hours a day. So there i was about to be towed out of evergreens parking lot By the city of course making me homeless And unable to access my dialysis machine and lifeline. I had only fifty dollars in my savings and On a prayer went in to HONEST AUTO SERVICE , a repair shop just around the block hoping i could get someone to help me before my world was destroyed. I spoke to Mr. Omar who told me friday at closing time that he couldnt do it. Well i had just fifty dollars and it was closing time for them so i thanked him and went back to my rv. I stayed in my rv right there through the weekend. Lastly, this morning i went back in with the 50 plus thirty more that i made sweeping parking lots at casino over the wknd, and asked Mr Omar to please help me. Mr Omar walked with me to my broken rv and got down and crawled under it and came back out. He said we will fix this for you here, now, so you dont loose your home. I told him i had only eighty dollars and i did have the new one i had been unable to install myself. Mr.Omar said that was going to be ok and within ten minutes another gentleman was there with tools and cardboard. He put the new one in, in five minutes and my home was again rumning. I am not poor because im lazy. I work part rime delivering pizzas and can barely afford insurance and tabs . These folks had compassion on me and Literrally saved my life. So , to Mr.Omar and the fellas at HONEST AUTO SERVICE, Thank you and i will certainly use their business for any future repairs to my car or rv and i I will pay the going rate plus tip. Yeah, I wouldnt do business with them. I brought in my old car to have the front end sway bar bushing and sway bar link replaced... I brought them the parts (sway bar bushing $15.00 and sway bar links $6.00 from Oreillys).. anyways I was told that they dont install parts they dont directly buy.. which is fine, I asked how much they would charge to have these two parts changed on my car and the person behind the counter quotes me $250.00 is what they usually ends up around. That is absurd for removing 2 tires, and 4 bolts for the new hardware! I couldnt believe my ears when he said that. Bucklys muffler wanted $140.00 to do the job, and Eds automotive quoted me $52.00 to $107.00 for the repair. Anyways, I would say these guys are anything but honest in there prices, do your wallet a favor and go somewhere else, unless your pockets are deep, you will be paying much more than what the guys down the street charge to do the same job!

These guys did great service for me. I had a heating fan stop working just a few days before I had to drive three states away for Christmas (not-good) so I followed a friends recommendation and gave these guys a call. They got my car in and looked at in the same day. When I dropped the car off, they were very clear as to what to expect as far as payment, and they gave me a call as soon as the cars issue was diagnosed (and in my case, fixed). I got lucky--the repair was small, they diagnosed it easily, they charged me less then $100 for both the fix and for an oil change that I was due for anyways. Then, when I was running late in picking the car up right after work, the guy at the office was willing to stay a little later to make sure I got my keys and got my car in time for my trip the next day. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

I stopped in here for an emergency battery recharge. I was told it could be a little while, so I left to get lunch, and received a phone call after about an hour letting me know the battery was not taking the charge. I was offered the option of having the battery replaced there, and was told it would take about a half hour, even though I hadnt had an appointment. I was able to finish up lunch, and though I missed the call on the way back, as soon as I walked up, I saw my car being pulled into the parking lot - perfect timing to walk in, pay, and leave. The gentleman helping who helped me was very affable - explaining why the battery needed to be replaced. I just received a thank you note via snail mail, which I really appreciate! Thank you so much!

After taking my car there 3 times over a one year period and spending in excess of $1000 I called and asked for a ballpark figure on placing front brake pads. The guy refused to even give me a range of repair costs and yet quoted me a price 6 months ago on back break pads. I reminded him of his last phone quote and he got defensive and argumentative with me. When I told him I only needed a range $150-300? He again refused. I told him I would take my business elsewhere. Not the kind of customer service for a returning, cash paying customer I would expect.

Honest Auto was recommended by a friend (and she was recommended by her landlord) and Ive been going there ever since. Ive asked them to fix things I thought were broken only to have them tell me they arent. That means they arent just looking to rack up the hours, which is extremely rare. Theyve always fixed everything for the price I expected, in the time I expected, and even though I dont live close any more, I always go to them first. Friendly and affordable, and just like the name says, theyre honest.

Great service for a great price. This shop was recommended to me by a friend, as I was looking for a new mechanic. They took care of my car very quickly and explained in detail what the issues were. Their prices are very reasonable, and they only charge you for the job done without any add-ons. I really appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The thank you card in the mail was very nice too :) I would definitely be coming back!

My car overheated on the way to work. Something was broken and all of the (apparently necessary) coolant had leaked (gushed out). Called and talked to Harold who said he wasnt sure there would be time to fix it that day. Had car towed there anyway (based on reviews). Car was ready to go that afternoon. Good, efficient, pleasant, and polite service. I would go back.

Wow! I thought I was getting good service elsewhere until I experienced Honest Auto. They were knowledgeable, clear, up-front about costs and were able to service my car promptly and cost effectively when my Saturn was virtually undriveable. I have over three decades of experience receiving auto repair services, and these people really care for and about their customers!
