He shows up on time wearing a spotless uniform, explains what hes doing as he goes along so you understand, works cleanly without spattering sludge around, wipes up as he goes along, wears latex gloves under his leather gloves and takes off the leather glove before touching your faucets, cabinet handles, etc., then he carefully wipes everything clean with a towel after hes done. Following that, he carefully removes his equipment and comes back in with spotless bare hands (that he shakes yours with and youre comfortable with it after youve seen how fastidiously he works,) and gives you an equally spotless iPad screen to sign. Its probably not the cheapest service out there and it seems a decent business to be in, in terms of margin, but if I use a service again (instead of buying my own equipment and hoping for a fast learning curve, which may or may not be wise,) I will definitely use this one and definitely ask for JIM. With that said, my father used the service last month and was equally happy with another one of their people. I used them several years ago, too, and had a positive experience although I forget the plumbers name. The telephone operator was also excellent as was the person I had the live chat with online who preceded her. I run an excellent service business myself (a pharmacy-specific temp agency called Seattle Pharmacy Relief,) which I take a lot of pride in, so it always pleases (and surprises) me, to encounter another service that is so well run. SO much goes into it.

I had a bathtub that wouldnt drain. I called in on a Monday morning and they were able to send someone to unplug the drain that afternoon. The dispatcher was very nice and easy to work with. Max came to my house and was very friendly. I had my two small granddaughters there and had just moved in a week prior. There were boxes and thing stacked everywhere. Max wasnt bothered by any of it and was very nice about the noise the girls made. He got the drain cleared in about 20 minutes and was on his way. I was very happy with the quick service and the employees were all very nice but the price was extremely high. I didnt shop around for a plumber because I was anxious to get it fixed. I had heard of Mr. Rooter so called them. When the plumber got here, he told me that it would cost $400 before he even did the work which surprised me. First of all I thought that was really expensive, especially because he didnt know at the time how far down the plug was. He did unclog the drain but it only took him 20 minutes which meant I paid over $1,000 an hour! In addition, 2.5 weeks later it started to run very slow again and Im afraid it will back up like it did before. I found out later that a few other plumbers would have done it for well under $200. I definitely wont be calling Mr. Rooter again. Live and learn I guess. Like I said, they were wonderful and fast and friendly, I just found them to be very expensive.

Very impressed with this company!!! Just before midnight water started coming up out of the downstairs shower. I called Mr. Rooter. The dispatch lady tried to help me over the phone, but I didnt know enough about my septic system to be able to follow her instructions. She put the service call in and about an hour later a tech was at my house. Jessie arrived and was the most helpful, polite and honest service tech. It was below freezing last night, and my problem was outside. Since I recently bought my home, I knew very little about the system or where things were located. Jessie took the time to explain the system to me, and show me where all the important parts are located. He never once got frustrated with my ignorance or questions. He genuinely wanted to help me understand how to maintain my septic system, and now I do! My problem, thankfull was just a dirty filter. Jessie got it cleared out and my drains all work properly again. Thank you Jessie! I hope I never have to call again, but if I do, I will be calling Mr. Rooter!

From the start to the finish, I received very courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt service. Mike Merrell explained what needed to be done to fix the meter to house water leak. He gave me the estimate and told me the amount of time he expected to do the work. He was always very professional and focused on the work. He was also very personable, and I enjoyed getting to know him.Despite the difficulty of needing to dig with his shovel, he kept a positive attitude with me. He responded to the problem without getting angry or frustrated. He even said he would call in a few days to check on the work completed. He is a great asset to your team at Mr. Rooter. I would highly recommend this company, and if needed would call Mr. Rooter first because of caring workers like Mike.

Both times they were out quickly, however the first visit the repair technician didnt really seem to care much about doing anything but the least he could. After a couple weeks my same problem re-occurred. I called the company who got me in-touch with a manager. After explaining my situation the manager quickly had another technician "Ron" come out . Ron was clearly knowledgeable, courteous and quickly identified the problem that the first technician never even looked for! The money I paid for the first call was credited to my new bill and all seems to be very good. Ask for Ron as your technician and thanks to the office manager and the branch manager for getting it all fixed up for me. Only 4 stars because I had to call them out a second time Keith

In late May our 20-yr old water heater was on its last legs. We called 2 companies to schedule a house appointment and get quotes, with Mr Rooter Plumbing being one of them (after seeing an ad on TV). Both companies were very helpful, but Mr Rooter stood above the other company in the areas of service and price. Korie P was very professional and knowledgeable in scheduling the appointment, while Tim R was outstanding in arriving on time, explaining every event that would happen, installing the new water heater, and doing extra things for free like installing a new kitchen faucet, and flushing every faucet in our 3-story house. I would highly recommend Mr Rooter Plumbing to anyone.

Two people referred us to Mr. Rooter. I will also refer this company, although a little pricey. The personal was polite and explained as needed. Michael was the Service Professional ( the first contact0 . Brandon and crew were excellent and clean working . Our problem was a Side Sewer Backup. Five Stars. We were not satisfied with the finished job, the crew came back and the job was redone to our satisfaction. There was a disagreement on the final billing - another discussion that ended agreeably. Suggestion: The billing or agreement/contract needs to be itemized, every charge included in the total charge. I would recommend/use them again.

Mr. Rooter plumbing was the best choice we could have made in an emergency situation. We had an urgent issue happen after hours and after making some calls we landed on the phone with Rhonda at Mr. Rooter. She was extremely understanding and made us feel that we were a priority. It didnt take her long to get back to us and let us know they were sending their field manager, Michael, to come help. Michael was professionally from the moment he came to our home. We appreciated that he was upfront, honest, and direct. He took the time to explain exactly what was happening and what we needed to do to fix it. I definitely recommend using Mr. Rooter!
