This place is by far the best computer repair shop I have ever been to, both in terms of the repair work and customer service. They are very reasonable with their diagnostic fees, and were always on my side through the whole repair process. I spilled water on my laptop and did everything wrong (tried turning it on too soon, heard something sizzle) I dont know how, but somebody over there is a genius at repairing scorched motherboards and was able to get it completely up and running again. The best part about getting my computer repaired here was the fact that they were always trying to save me money (usually its the other way around). First, they gave me a discount on my diagnostic fee because I brought in multiple items (none of the other repair places I went to offered this). Then, after I was notified the job was done, they ended up finding some component that needed to be replaced soon (battery and hard drive), which would have changed the price I was quoted. So instead of charging me for any work that had already been done, they offered to sell me a refurbished laptop of the same model and year with upgraded internal components at a very discounted price (way less than the repair would have been). These guys are all about customer service and are not trying to make an extra buck. I highly recommend if you need a computer repaired.

IF you want your computer updated, repaired, enhanced, de-bugged or upgraded OR if you need Tech Support, IT Consulting, Sales and/or computer repair – SEATTLE COMPUTERS is the place! I have used them two times: 1st) a long-overdue desktop death, and 2nd) a non-fatal crash while trying to install Windows 10 on a laptop.I was in crisis mode both times, facing critical deadlines. I cannot say enough about this company’s technological skill, fast turn-around, and competitive pricing –all combined with amazing personal/professional customer service. However, even more important to me, everyone I dealt with understood that ‘my life’ was in my computer. Even with total crashes they saved every bit of my data, both times! Their hours and convenient drop-off or in-home repair are tailored for emergencies; service updates are always available online or by phone; and, they always do a thorough & complete diagnostic, educating and informing you (not selling!) of options for better performance or potential problems in the longer run. I decided to write this review, not something I often do, because I realized I no longer have anxiety about my computers getting ‘sick’ – I just call Seattle Computers– I recommend you do the same!

Great service combined with friendly staff is a tough thing to come by it seems nowadays, but Seattle Computers achieves this status with ease and, most importantly, without wasting your time. After months of dealing with an issue with my laptop screen, I chose Seattle Computers based off of previous customer reviews and a phone call I had with one of the main staff, Kevin, who spoke fluently about my specific laptop problem, thus ensuring me that Seattle Computers would deal with my problem with efficiency. As a college student at the UW (with exams coming up), I needed to know that my laptop would be a quick job---Kevin gave me that insurance (though I did pay the rush fee). When I walked into Seattle Computers to drop off my laptop I was greeted by two friendly staff members who, aside from taking in my laptop, asked me about my interests and engaged me in meaningful conversation. It really was a pleasure to work with Seattle Computers---not only did I get my laptop fixed quickly, but I also exchanged information with Kevin, the primary staffer/tech I spoke with. Wonderful people, wonderful service; you wont be dissatisfied.

1. conveniently located just off the hwy exit, about 2 min off the hwy-very easy to find and get to 2. staff is kind, empathetic, and paid attention to me explaining my issues, asked me a bunch of questions that let them offer me a great solution 3. pricing is better than the corp Mac store, or Simply Mac, and honestly, i was treated with more respect at this independantly owned store 4. relatable - even though they might of dealt with my problem 100 times, they still made me feel as if my problem was just as important to them as it was to me...the urgency to correct the issue was felt, and understood 5. Communication. They have an automated text notification syatem that alerts you as progress is being made...AWESOME. i was called before work was done, and immediately as it was finished, and when i was there to pick up my machine, i was explained to what they did so i knew what was going on and why it acted the way that it did. 6. Solutions - I WILL be returning to get some much needed upgrades. He understood my industry, what would work best for me, and all at a great price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I came in to the PC store thats right across the street and asked for a solution for a dual monitor hook up for work computer (cheaper computer) and they were unable to help, so I went Seattle Computers. I was instantly greeted in a very friendly manner and given a multitude of options that worked for my situation. They gave me a cheap fix that would have worked wonderfully if it hadnt been for the computer I was working with. I came in to trade for another option but I forgot my receipt. There was no problem, they refunded me on the spot without any grief and found another solution that works wonderfully. The pricing was surprisingly great the knowledge was amazing and the reason I now have a loyalty to this store is because the owner and his staff were incredibly nice, patient, and had amazing customer service. This is my new computer store, which I believe is no small feat seeing as Im 15 miles away with a multitude of stores thatre closer and Im a huge nerd. Ive already forgotten about amazon and new egg, this place is much better with no risk of getting the wrong thing or being stuck with it.

I was recently was stuck in Seattle after my daughter was diagnosed with cancer. My wife and I had to spend three weeks straight at Childrens Hospital. During this time the screen on my laptop broke and needed to be replaced. I had to work remotely at the hospital to try and maintain my work obligations. I called many places in Seattle and no one had the correct screen for my laptop and I was looking a 1-2 weeks without a computer for work. Kevin at Seattle Computers ordered me a new screen, took my hard drive out of my laptop and installed it into a loaner, then delivered it to the hospital for me. He got me up and running within a day. This company went over and above for me in my time of need and helped make the most difficult time in my life a little less stressful. I will never go to any other shop for my computer and IT needs and I highly recommend you do the same. Good people, great product and service, at an excellent price. Thank you Seattle Computers!

Kevin Elde did an excellent job repairing and upgrading two Dell tower computers for our small medical office. It was easy to park right outside the shop and just walk in to drop off the computers. Since Kevin also works on Saturdays, it was especially helpful to have the option of leaving a much needed business computer late on a Friday and have it ready for pick up early on a Monday. He correctly identified the problem with a low wattage power supply in the Dell model XPS 8500, and that has dramatically improved the performance of both machines. Since he did full diagnostics on both machines, it was nice to have the older level BIOS systems updated as well. A faulty video card in one machine was also identified and replaced with a better card. The price was also very reasonable and the atmosphere very professional. I would highly recommend Kevin and the team for any future work.
