Update: I wanted to write an update following the company reaching out to me. When a company gets it wrong I think we are well within our rights to blast them online and I am thankful for the tools like Yelp to do so! But when they get it right, they should get credit with the same amount of vigor! Within a few hours of me posting my review and filling out their company survey. The GM himself called me and left a voice mail saying he just wanted to make it right. We had a healthy, honest conversation on the phone where I explained the situation as it took place. He took ownership of the problem, apologized and offered to make it right. The moving business is tricky and timing is hard, some of that they cant control. What they can control is the communication and that is what he apologized for and did everything he could to make sure we were satisfied with the solution. For that reason I would use them again, knowing that if something did go wrong, they would be proactive in taking care of it. Old review: My wife and I were moving from our 1 bedroom apartment into a townhouse with our new daughter. (4 weeks old) The movers were suppose to arrive between 1-5pm. They didnt show up until 7pm at night, I was told I would get a call from them with an ETA, never happened. I was literally never apologized to once on the phone for the delay. Once they did arrive, I was then told it would be an additional $15 dollars to move my couch because they had to "pack it". The exact same couch I had already described to the person setting up the move earlier on the phone. I was never told about any additional charges. Then since my couch was 3 pieces, it became 15 dollars a piece, so it would actually be $45 to move my couch...by not telling me before hand they had me in a position I couldnt say no to, they were already there, it was late (because they were so late) and my wife and new daughter needed to get moved. They were late, never apologized and charged additional fees during the move that were never mentioned before hand. There are alot of options for moving in Seattle, I would highly recommend a different one.

I would write a great review if I were so inclined. Just wrote two... This is not the case with Neighbors... My wife and I were told Everything would be "No Problem". We would be "...pleasantly surprised by their efficiency.". The "air suspensioned" truck was driven by an inexperienced driver who didnt know to wait for the air to fill the shocks before moving it (grinding noise). The lead mover said all our household would fit the truck. They appeared to start off well. My wife and I had ALL the boxes downstairs. We tried to make it a simpler move. We even had our own shrink wrap to secure things to our satisfaction. It didnt matter. They had to wrap and blanket alot of things, which took time (their sweet time...). Half way through their careful loading, eveything came to a slugs pace (3 guys!!) The lead kept saying "no problem" when it came to time to finish and that the truck could take to whole load. Didnt happen and we werent told we had to finish the move ourselves. We still had 10% to move! They went from skilled packers to inefficient slobs... When they decided to drive I asked them to avoid construction work just down the street. They ignored me. I followed them through the area. When at the new place, they said they went into overtime!! Now, we just get our things dumped into the thankfully 3 car garage and they left. This was the worst movers ever for either of us!!! We thought we would be okay with them by their appearance. They looked to be very conscientious, professional, at first... To our demise and disappointment! This business should have been out of business, you would think, by now by the reviews Ive read.... Wish we could have seen these reviews before choosing NEIGHBORS...

If you read nothing else, read this...PICK ANOTHER MOVING COMPANY. I researched many moving companies and thought this one would be a winner. NOPE! Ive tried reaching out to them to try to give them a chance to remedy our dissatisfaction but have not gotten a response after they said they needed time to investigate our move... It boils down to this: we hired a 3 man crew to do a small job and they sent out one hard working guy and 2 kids who didnt know what they were doing; they would make multiple trips between house and truck WITH NOTHING IN THEIR HANDS, OR SAT AROUND AND WATCHED, WAITING FOR THE OLDER GUY TO TELL THEM WHAT TO DO!! They spun their wheels all day. A job that was estimated to take 4-5 hours took over 8 hours!! After the job was done, the hard working guy finally admitted the regular guy who usually works with him didnt show up for work. He knew what the company did was wrong and we were not given what we paid for... To put it in perspective: When we moved one year ago, we had a three man crew that filled and unpacked TWO 26 trucks in 9 hours...This time with this moving company they filled and packed ONE, I repeat ONE 26 truck in 8.25 hours!!! Please go find another moving company. I wanted to support the local guys but will not use them again!

I just moved petty much across the street and did not wanted to move my furniture and figured I would just hire someone to move it for me, I called a few different company and was quoted that it was be anywhere from a 6hour to 8 hour job, I had a couch, ez chair, 2 desks, entertainment stand, 65" tv, treadmill (the heavy kind), a bed, dresser and a total gym and had move them down stairs. I could not figure where 6 to 8 hours would come from, I called Neighbors and they told me that they had a 2 hour minimum and then was bill every 15 minutes after that. When they show up the two guys jumped right in and started moving the items I needed to have moved and where fast and very friendly, they got everything load and got to the new place and asked where I would like each item. Joeland and Armando where great, friendly and respectful. Wonderful job I would definitely use them any time I had a move.

The moving team was exceptional. I have shared with family and friends that I highly recommend your moving firm. The team arrived promptly, were very professional, worked hard and quickly, showed me damage to some of my furniture that I didnt even know about as they were wrapping and preparing it for moving to my new condo. Thank you for a sending such a great team to me. Would I use your company again? You bet I would...this was the best move I have experienced. I told someone when I called the company following my move that this team should be given the "Best Team of the Month Award" Thank you for making this move the less stressful of any move I have made throughout the years.

This move was my first relocation/interstate move I have done, and could not be more pleased with the experience I had. Neighbors Relocation was easy to work with from the initial walk-through and quoting process with Dave, to the operations side once we scheduled our move with Debbie, and the drivers Tony and Lisa were incredible. Drivers kept us updated on status, and great people at both ends to help load/pack the truck and unload/unpack, and Tony and Lisa could not have been more pleasant, sincere, and positive. They are truly one of a kind. Thank you Neighbors Relocation! If we find ourselves coming back to WA we will be reaching out. Thank you again!
