TL:DR - Do yourself a favor and find a different moving company. I used them for moving labor which resulted in damages my walls and brand new couch. Filed claim to get it resolved which resulted in absolutely nothing except frustration and wasted time. Also, they have the worst customer service should you have any issues or concerns. I used them to help me unload my U-Haul moving truck as I had unloaded my PODS container a few hours before into it and was worn out. I requested two helpers to arrive around 4 pm on moving day. They showed up 1.5 hrs late! This was their (Rob/Troy) last job for the day so they were very slow and appeared fatigued. It took me 2 hrs to unload the pod myself into the u-haul truck but them 3.5 hrs with two guys, Rob (older man) and Troy (younger, heavy-set college student). I had also moved about 1/4 of the U-Haul items in the garage while I was waiting for them to show up. I also had a couch I had just purchased in the garage that was still brand new in box I needed moved up to my apartment. They decided to move it at the end after Rob took the measurements of the stairway and the couch. They unboxed and took the back off the couch then carried it up without any covering. The whole thing was poorly executed and wasnt thought out. This resulted in a damaged couch (torn full-grain leather and damaged walls). They just wanted to be done for the day and that showed in their attitude and efforts. Many times Rob left the boxes and items that we told him to bring upstairs to the bedroom. However, he ignored that and dropped wherever he felt like on the main floor. Troy would then pick it up after telling him again and move it up for us. Weve tried to initiate a claim to resolve the damaged walls and torn couch. However, Rob (the local Seattle office manager) was not willing to work with us. He stated he doesnt have to do anything since there are no laws regulating moving labor in the State of Washington. After some discussion, he decided on $100 off the $400 from our bill. $100 for a damaged brand new full grain leather reclining couch and damaged walls was the "best" he could do and again stated he didnt have to do anything but he was being generous. I also tried to escalate the issue from the local office. However, that came to a dead end as each local office is independently owned (as paraphrased by the rep from their call center). Quite shocking to know their corporate offices arent willing to do anything for their customers. Please do yourself a favor and do not hire help from this organization. That is how you will have a stress-free day! They do not care about your assets, time and overall, you as a customer.

If I could give no stars, I would. Let me just say that I was unable to use College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving due to a serious lack of professionalism on their part. I just moved to Seattle from an 1800 sq. ft. house to a 950 sq. ft apartment and needed to get rid of a bit of furniture, clothes and other household items. I found a deal on-line for a discount off the price of the pick-up if the donation went to Goodwill. Great! I call College Hunks, and schedule a pick up the next day. They let me know that a team will show up at my place, estimate the amount of space needed to haul my donation, and if I agree to the price they load it up and take it away. Awesome. Im given a 2 hour window of my choice and told that they will call 30 mins prior to arrival. My window of time was 2-4 pm. So, I hang out and wait. By 3:45 pm, I havent heard anything so I give them a call. The dispatcher sends an ETA request to the driver and says he should be contacting me soon. Within a few minutes, I get a call. The guy apologizes and says hes behind schedule but that it will be another hour and a half until he can get to me!! Are you kidding? I understand the running behind part, stuff happens. However, if youre going to be late, especially, an hour and a half late, you sure as heck call before 15 mins til the end of the window and let the client know! Obviously, Im not happy about waiting that much longer but I really want the stuff gone, so I say okay. He says hell give me a call when hes on the way. Lovely. Two hours goes by. Nothing. No call, no text, no email, no carrier pigeon, no nada. I call the driver. No answer. Big surprise. I call the company. No answer. Even better. So, its the next day and I havent heard jack from anyone. Now, I dont have a business degree but Im almost positive that if you want to attract new customers and keep the current ones coming back, this is not how you do it.

A friend hired these guys to move a sofa bed & an armchair from my place to hers. They turned up 2 hours late, put a hole in my wall and left black marks all over the walls from where they rammed the sofa bed into the wall. In the past 20 yrs, Ive moved around 18 times and Ive never seen a company make a client sign a stack of liability forms. They made my friend sign a bunch of forms protecting them from indemnity if they damaged my place, her place or the property that they were transporting the goods from. Typically, most removal companies will replace damaged goods or repair damages caused and you get the option to pay for insurance. In this case, it was made very clear that their main concern was "if we break stuff - its not our problem". I cant even begin to imagine how much they would have damaged my house or property if it had been a complete move. Do yourself a favour: if you care about your belongings or your property - do not hire these guys.

No show twice should equal a no star review, however Google requires a minimum star in order to submit a review. Called this layout to request junk removal. They were extremely polite on the phone and sounded like a polished company. They sent an email confirmation for a 2hr window to come provide a no obligation estimate for our junk removal. I waited around during the 2hr window and no one showed. I called the company and they apologized and said they would have the manager call me back that was assigned to our service request. The manager did call back and informed me they were 2 jobs behind schedule. They offered to call when they 30 minutes out from the second job or suggested we reschedule for another day. I opted to reschedule 48hrs later. I patiently waited again during the 2hr window for the rescheduled appointment and no one showed.

Polite but disorganized and the schedulers are ill informed. My quote was 4.5 times higher than my the max estimated cost I was given over the phone and they kept me waiting around my house all weekend. I received a quote over the phone that as long as my construction debris didnt contain dry wall and was smaller than 4 full size couches than my fee couldnt possibly exceed a given amount. But when they actually showed up they told me that the schedulers always are getting that wrong and that my actually amount would be 5 times higher because it construction debris. I wouldnt have been so off put but they kept me at home waiting for saturday night, when they rescheduled to get to my place the next morning 9-11, but they ultimately didnt arrive until 6pm at night.
