We used ML movers about 5 years ago and it was a pleasure working with Miguel and his team. When we moved homes recently we wanted to go with people we trusted and hire ML movers to pack items from our old home and move them to storage and then 2 weeks later unpack them into our new home. The team that was sent to us was very in-experienced and did not know what they were doing. Instead of using moving blankets for our larger more expensive pieces of furniture they used plastic wrap which does not stop the furniture from getting scratched. When they moved items into the new home they scratched out floors. The mover who did it apologized but later other members of his team added more scratches. When we complained about it to Miguel he came up with the " the floors were already scratched " story. We have complained about him to the BBB and he gave them the same response - the furniture and floor were already scratched. BEWARE - do not give these guys your business. The insurance on the contract is a joke! He has since stopped taking our calls and no response to our emails as well.

Overall the move was successful and the movers great, but make sure you check the fine print both in the beginning and end of the move. I give them top marks for scheduling and overall professionalism of the movers, but my major gripe is the way they structure the hourly rates. It does state that credit cards are 5% more within the fine print, but really nothing is actually the rate they state since cash is less and check actually 3% more. I feel Im not the first to be confused by this so be sure to understand what you use to pay will impact the hourly cost (which is fair, but not clear). Be sure to check the final invoice too. I know youre tired and want to start officially moving in, but I would recommend checking over the materials charges. They use the worlds most expensive wrap and boxes, and quite a few extra boxes made their way into the final total.

The movers were very friendly and professional. I feel bad that I didnt have more money for a tip. If you a moving a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment within 20 miles, they could probably handle the job. Our 3 BR house moving from Oakland to SJ, it turned out to be a problem. When the central office called me to get feedback, he started arguing with me about what I was reporting.

We had a wonderful experience with ML movers. A team of 3 moved us into our new home and they were perfectly on time, fast, friendly, and very professional. They went above and beyond to help us with final touches on backing and went the extra mile after unloading by setting up our bed frames in a fraction of the time it would have taken me. Highly recommend!

Do NOT USE ML MOVERS!!! The damaged my brand new hardwood floors and refuse to have them fixed. The owner has also refused to speak to me about it. He is telling BBB that I damaged my floors. Horrible company and owner. RUN DON"T WALK FROM ML MOVERS!!!!

Jay, Gil, and Ricardo were awesome. They were courteous, worked efficiently and handled the furniture & boxes with care. The move was completed within 3 hours!
