I used to really like going to Open Gym. But as I got older, I was limited to going on less and less of the equipment. Let me say that this isnt logical at all because the older you are the more responsible. I had a bad experience there and I am not going back anytime soon. So when we got there we started setting up some mats for dodgeball. We played about 4 rounds when they told us to get out of the way because the people practicing up their routine needed the WHOLE FRICKIN SPACE. WHAT THE HECK? WE WERE THERE FIRST! I understand the safety concerns, but these rules were ridiculous. We couldnt do anything. Another complaint is that the workers were very rude. They yelled at us. Examples of things they said are "Are you retarded?" "No touching the mats!" and "Do you know English?" Other peoples needs were put before ours. They wouldnt even let us on half the equipment there. Our favorite trampoline was closed because they let some kid do something dumb. They wouldnt let us do flips. Never come here. I was tempted to ask for a refund.

I attended the Baby class with my child for 6 months. The gym always smelled really dusty and the foam in the pit was so old and toxic. They needed to clean it out and put in New foam. We are switching to Boomshaka because my child likes it better there. The nighttime classes at Alley Op were too crowded then we switched to the one morning class, but the teacher kept ending the class after 20min. She also kept telling my child NO over and over, but not in a fun way. There was no one else in the gym at this time. We might have stayed if Chloe taught a morning class. Chloe actually taught my daughter a lot of neat gymnastics moves each class while this teacher just kept saying No to both me and my child and took the fun out of the class for me and my child.

My daughter Rylee absolutely loves it here. She is in the preschool class and she has learned way more than I expected her to in a preschool class. Maybe its because with the on post gymnastics class they never really took the time to talk to Rylee one on one and track her progress, but I definitely would much rather pay the $5 extra to come to Alley Oop than the class on JBLM. My daughter absolutely adores Coach Nicole and I think the coach to student ratio is perfect.

Our daughter is 5 and she can be shy. Her teacher at Alley Oop provides structure during the class and works with each child to ensure that they learn the movements and none of the children are forgotten about. At the end of class the children are given stickers with the names of the activities performed - shes so proud of her stickers! She practices the techniques when she gets home and looks forward to the next class. We are so happy with Alley Oop!

My children really love Alley Oop!! Each child works within their own path and skill set, so it keeps everyone learning at all times! My children also love the stickers and medals when they have mastered a skill or a level of gymnastics. There are several classes going at once, so all 3 of my children are in separate classes at the same time!! Yay, Alley Oop, bravo!!

My two daughters been attending Alley Oop for 6 years, and weve always enjoyed the classes, events, coaches and I love the staff (Kim should not allowed to quit-- ever. Sorry, Kim. ;) Everyone is always very professional, and my girls think missing a class is the end of the world. Thats the highest praise. Four and a half stars, but I was only allowed four.

My daughter has been going to Alley Oop for a year now and loves it. She gets great exercise and is learning a new sport that she really loves. She loves seeing the work of the teams and strives to become that disciplined. Her coaches and all of the staff are very nice and supportive. I am happy with the gym as is my daughter.

Great place! My son lover the Ninja Zone Program and Open Gym. A great place to burn off energy and get some exercise. The only thing I wish they did differently was allow the parents to play at Open Gym too! Its hard to watch the kids have all the fun and not join in!

Balance, coordination, and physical awareness are as fundamental as art and music should be for children. Alley Oop is a huge and absolutely amazing facility. Bring your kids here and get them involved.
