This place is so amazing! I was rear ended and insurance told me to pick a body shop where I wanted the repairs to be done. Well, I had never been in need of a good auto body repair so I took to the internet to read some reviews. I am so glad I found Five Star and read the praises from other customers. I called ahead and was told to bring in my car anytime so they could take a look. From the moment I walked into their office I was greeted with a smile and great customer service. Phil was quick to come outside and start assessing the damages. He discovered that one of the wheels was bent and didnt recommend me driving it at all until it was fixed. Not to worry though because he was able to take it right in and get to work. He even offered for me to use one of their loaner cars in the mean time for FREE! I was told that it may take a week to get my car back due to it being days before Christmas but they would do the best they could. They were able to get my car back to me in just three days! The only bummer about that was I wasnt ready to give back the loaner car as it was a lot more fun to drive than mine. When I picked up my car it looked even better than before the accident. They even washed and vacuumed it. I asked Phil to pick out a set of new hubcaps for me as my old ones were discontinued and he did great with that too!! Phil also dealt directly with my insurance agent so I didnt have to worry about that. Over all Five Star is the way to go! From their extremely helpful and professional customer service to the quality and efficiency of their work there is just no better option. Choose Five Star and you wont be disappointed!!

I came to the shop with an auto body repair, the result of being rear ended in Portland. I had read the reviews and had expected a stellar experience but instead was left with a very sour taste in my mouth. I went for the estimate and was met by the owner, a younger man, but at the time seemed adapt and responsible. He prepared the estimate, citing that he did not have contracts with any insurance companies; the result of which produces much higher than expected estimates for the work being done. At this point I just needed him to submit the information to my insurance company as they wanted a copy of the estimate and pictures. Once I obtained the information from my insurance company I called and spoke to Charlie I believe his name was at least four times over the course of nearly a week and was met with each time a response that the owner would get back to me as soon as possible or the owner was in the shop and he would get right back to me or the owner was otherwise occupied and I would receive a call back. I never got a call back, not once. I ended up taking my truck to several other shops in the Portland area and found all of their estimates to be reliably accurate and approximately $600 to $700 less than the shop. This shop may produce good results with their product, I do not know, I do know however that their communication is appalling, they have absolutely, in my opinion, no respect for their customers. Their prices are very steep and are not in line with other more reputable and established businesses. Take your business elsewhere you, will better be served where you are respected as a customer.

My wife had an encounter with a concrete pole that left the right side of our SUV literally destroyed, Phil & crew explained calmly and extensively what needed to be done, provided us with a near perfect explanation of the required tasks to do, even my insurance company complemented them for such detailed and well elaborated estimate. Needless to say, they performed a superb job and left the vehicle in even better condition that is was before the incident, Phil shouldve been a Doctor!. It is soo hard nowadays to find a decent and honest shop that I think Five Star Auto Body should be showcased in some national television investigative reporting show as an example of when a business really bend over backwards for its customers. One last thing, I asked Phil why did they not request becoming "partners" with several insurance companies, this way they would get even more business, his response was simple: ".. We would be forced to lower costs and buy cheaper components, and that is not what we are here for.." - Enough said. I certainly dont hope for my car to be wrecked again, but in the unfortunate event it happens, I know exactly where to go, keep up the good work guys.

Working with Five Star has truly raised my expectations for what a work environment should be. As a customer I have brought in my own car multiple times and have been through the process myself. What I didnt know is how much heart and effort everyone in the office and the shop puts into each individual job to ensure that the customer leaves happy and relieved. I love to wake up in the morning and know that I am happy to go to work and be able to help anyone who walks through the door. Im sad to go back to college but I know I will refer anyone and everyone to Five Star for any auto collision repair they need. My coworkers have been nothing but respectful, honest, and benevolent. Im proud to say I worked for Five Star and hope I can come back in the future to be apart of this great staff that makes me feel like family.

Five Star Auto Body should be called Ten Star Auto Body! They are seriously such an amazing crew. My normal experience when going to body shops or an auto mechanic is that they talk to you like youre dumb and give you this big talk about how you need to do this and that and bla bla bla and next thing you know you have to sell your kidney on the black market just to pay the bill. Five Star DOES NOT DO THAT! They explain everything, they are considerate, they are kind and they are happy to help you in any way possible. Great guys with great hearts. With every crew member I met there, I seriously felt like I was being treated like family. It was by FAR the best experience my 67 mustang and I have ever had. Thank you Five Star!!!!! -Brian

Everything about this body shop is top notch. We dealt mostly with Phil but also spend time with Marley and a few different techs. Everyone was friendly, approachable, and provided excellent customer service. The work on our 2008 Dodge Caravan was flawless. They even took time to clean the exterior and interior of the vehicle. Phil also went out of his way to make sure that we had a loaner vehicle (2015 CRV), even when we forgot to call and reserve one. Five Star worked with our insurance company (AllState) for supplemental charges so that we were not out of pocket for anything other than our deductible. This is the premier body shop in the PNW. We recommend them without reservation.

I drove down from Olympia because prices are often more competitive here than there. I needed some work done and was pleased to find this place. They ordered a part around noon and I waited until the next day for installation. The part seemed to have arrived late, as I called before my appointment time and it had not been received. A call to me would have been nice, and it wasnt ideal that the part arrived later than predicted. But the customer service was so excellent other than that, I have to give five stars. I will certainly return if/when I need more work done... I appreciated their honesty and flexibility. Price was more than adequate for the work done, so I am grateful.
