Disappointing!! I took my 2000 Mazda 626 (commuter car) to this shop for service in April 2015. It was making a pretty bad noise and I feared the worst. I only paid $2k for the car originally so I wasnt looking to put a ton of money into it to fix it but I needed the car either way. I brought the car in and turns out the issue was a water pump and timing belt. Not cheap, estimate was $700 but like i said i needed the car so i authorized the work. Come in the next day to a bill for over $800 and more work than I originally authorized done to the car! The owner claimed that he had been in a meeting with a parts vendor (lunch and drinks im sure) and didnt have a chance to call me to make sure i was ok with the additional money and work. I was certainly unhappy with the development and let the owner know it but I still paid the bill and left. Admittedly, the car seemed to be running fine. I go out to my car the next morning and there was dew on the windows so I turned on the windshield wiper to find a 4 inch bolt that the mechanic had inexplicably left on the wiper on the windshield. Luckily the windshield didnt break but still..I go back into the shop and they assure me that the bolt was extra and they had replaced it with a new one when the did the work. Since then the car leaks oil, which it never did before. Im sure these guys are nice and i like supporting locally owned businesses but these guys are unprofessional at the least and dishonest at worst and at very least i would make sure to get everything in writing before you allow them to conduct any work.

I call to get an estimate to get a door handle replaced and the woman I talked to said she didnt think it would take more than an hour at a maximum, not minimum, maximum, at a rate of $100.00. When my wife went for the repair and it took 10 minutes she was charged $100.05. When I called back to question the charge the first thing I said, to the same lady that quoted me, was that she told me an hour of service was a $100.00 and it only took 10 minutes. She immediately disagreed with me and said she never said an hour and then said hold on and put me on hold. When she got back on the phone she said they charged me $56 to which I responded no, my wife told me you charged her $100.05. then she said the part was $34.00, which I get. But that means I paid $34.00 for the part, $10.05 in tax, and $56.00 for 10 minutes of labor! When inquired further, she told me you pay the book time not the actual time and if it takes less time they just make more. I could not believe she actually had the gall to say that. So I suppose the lesson here is if you want to get ripped off by a greedy company that doesnt give you all the information up front but is happy to explain it to you once youve already been over charged, go to Oak Creek Automotive. They will take "great" care of you and their cash register. Dont forget to ask them about their "booked pricing scale.

Went here for emissions because my husbands family recommended it and we just moved to the area and are looking for a regular car care place. I have never been treated so rudely in my life! The woman literally did not speak to me at all, not to greet me, not to ask what I needed, nothing, just thrust out her hand for our paperwork and keys. She only spoke directly to me when I thanked her when she handed my keys back, other than that she would not even look directly at me. I would ordinarily think this was general rudeness, but she was cordial to the white gentleman that came in after me for the same thing. Either she did not like my race or my interracial marriage (she was similarly rude to my white husband but did speak to him slightly more) but this facility does NOT want your business if you are not white. I would encourage anyone of color to avoid this place completely.

I had a water pump replaced a year ago with Oak Creek Automotive and they did a great job while offering really great prices. Youre always hesitant on an unfamiliar local garage, but I can tell you first hand these guys are very honest and have great customer service along with great prices. I had a slow leak on one of my tires today and they managed to help me on the spot while they were swamped with work on a very busy Monday. It ended up being the seal on the tire, but they replaced the valve for good measure and charged me a third of what I was quoted from a local tire shop. If thats not all-star service I dont know what is. I will be taking both my used and leased vehicles there from now on.

Never encountered such rude behavior and experience from a business in my life. Very rude, condescending behavior from what appeared to be owner/manager. Just for FYI, your attitude and behavior as a business owner/manager reflects greatly on the work you represent. With the treatment I encountered, and I do have very thick skin and overlook a lot, your unwarranted belittling treatment was unnecessary and very repulsive and that is being very respectful with what words really warrant the treatment I encountered. I advise others to take their business elsewhere, somewhere that treats them with respect and can provide them more piece of mind when dealing with their vehicle.

Customer Service
Rude, very hard to trust. Have young kids inexperienced kids working from what I seen. Priced higher than more quality places that provide more respect. No accountability either. Check company BBB and see complaint. Seems to be trend, rip off, rude, no accountability, and positive reviews seem sketchy as they seem to be too close in date or from people mostly out of state when you see other reviews, or friends from what I can conclude through my own observation. No one in heck would rate this business good if they tried it first hand.

Loved the people, very friendly. They went through everything with me and told me how much each part was. Will defiantly be doing my future business with them. Took a little bit to hear what everything was, but that was due to them wanting to give me an accurate price for everything, but there was A LOT to look at, so its understandable. (Sorry for the misunderstanding, defiantly love Oak Creek Automotive)

Dealership quoted me $1000 to fix my check engine light for ECV valve was going to charge me 400 in parts and over 600 in labor. Took it in to Oak Creek automotive and found out it was a 250 dollar job parts and labor max. Dealerships are scammers, this place has always been honest and good service from my personal experience.
