Over a year ago, we got a cable box in our basement and have been paying extra for it all this time. It has never worked and every time we call they tell us to go to the store and get a different cable box. We have done this four times now and none of the cable boxes work. We finally had a technician come and he said that our TV mount was the problem (?). We got a different TV mount and the cable box still didnt work. We called to get a reimbursement for the year that wed been paying and they refused until I said I wanted to cancel all services and even then they only offered a partial reimbursement. Then, three months ago, my debit card expired so I got a new one. I called to update the number for my autopay and they said it was all set up. A month later, I got a call that my account was past due and that I had late charges and a $300 balance. I explained to them that I had a new card and that I had already updated it. They apologized and said they took care of it and took the late charges off (and acted as if they were doing me some huge favor in doing so). Then this month, my husband called a few days ago because our internet wasnt working. They told him that our account was past due. I called and explained to them AGAIN about updating my card. The representative was completely clueless as to why this kept happening and couldnt answer any of my questions correctly and after 35 minutes of misinforming me, I asked to talk to someone else. twice. He wouldnt let me and insisted that he could solve my problem. I said OK and he went on to update the information again. So then yesterday our internet still wasnt working. I called to see if we could get a technician out to look at the internet. The woman told me she couldnt send a technician out for internet. I asked if she could at least send a technician out to look at the cable box in the basement again since that still didnt work. She transferred me and the new woman told me she could absolutely send me a technician for the cable box downstairs AND for the internet. She also told me that TV mounts have nothing to do with the functionality of a cable box (which I knew). Anyway, so the technician came today. He said that he was here for the cable box and that he knew nothing about working on the internet (ARE YOU KIDDING ME) but he offered to look at the internet anyway. Hes essentially the only coherent employee in the whole company and was able to determine that the power cord for the cable box was the wrong one and thats why the cable box didnt work. He fixed the internet but told us that we didnt have WIFI (which is incorrect because weve had WIFI for over 3 years). Anyway, this company is a joke and their moronic clueless customer service representatives are going to continue to lose them business.

Very poor customer service. We called in three separate times to upgrade the service from time warner to spectrum. Each time the order was deleted, input incorrectly or the order was cancelled. Every time we called in to replace the order with the order number we were told there were no notes in the system so the new Rep could not see what was discussed previously. In addition each time the price of the service was different. $174.00, $200.85 then 247.45 per month. Each quote was for the exact same packages. Maybe they need to hire smarter people besides Senetra, Tameka, Rachel. Or someone who actually gives a $&/@.

We tried at least 5 times to lower bill and sign contract to renew discounts. Spectrum said to us be grateful you had that pricing for that long!. Today we pulled the plug on TWC/Spectrum and went to UVerse. We are very happy. (Also you all will be getting another big price increase in October when Spectrum starts charging for the digital boxes that were "free"! Bill is about 40% less and better services. Not gonna kid you. The install today was a pain and we still have a few issues. But well worth it to save $80/month.

I returned my old equipment and they misunderstood and canceled my current internet service, then claimed they cant reactivate it via the phone/ couldnt send someone to fix it free of charge since it was their mistake, so I had to go in person to exchange my perfectly fine modem because they had deactivated it. Spent forever on the phone because they kept getting confused if my service was provided by time warner or charter spectrum since time warner was bought out. Complete mess

The internet keeps disconnecting. I had to change banks and had to have help doing it online because the site was difficult. A representative walked me through it and then I get contacted about a late bill. They were still trying to take it out of the old account. They dont give the reps any info on the auto pay is coming from. I had to figure it out myself. Their system sucks as far as auto pay. You cant change the auto pay with a person. It is online only.

Spectrum is the worst internet provider ever. I went from paying $47.51 for internet for over five years to an increase to $63.xx a month when Spectrum took over. I called them and they promised my bill would go back to $47.xx. But the next month bill came to $63.xx. I called back and the rep said they cant do anything about it. Oh well, Ill be moving to AT&T and pay $80/month. At least Ill be getting the whole package: cable and internet.

Going into place like this is inherently boring. You have to sit there and wait while the associate raps away on their keyboard trying to figure things out for you. So a friendly staff, cracking jokes with each other whole also working, makes for an enjoyable experience. Also Hook was playing on the tv there. Left with a big smile.

About as pleasant as one could expect. The staff are able to do what the system allows then to do, which is limited. You can open, close, or move your account. You can pay your bill or return/pick up equipment. But dont expect them to be able to solve technical issues that cant be fixed with giving you a different DVR or modem.
