Awful, just disgustingly terrible, possibly the worst internet service ever! Constantly goes out if too many people are on the neighborhood node. Murphy Cable basically oversold their service in our area and when people start using the internet after work it slows down to less than 1Mbps, astronomical ping of 3500ms+, and up to 75% packet loss! We are paying for 20Mbps service and are not even getting half that speed when network usage is low. The internet is practically unusable in the evening. They keep making excuses that they are getting a new fiber line, but its over a year behind schedule. If Murphy actually had competition I would have dumped this company long ago, but sadly some internet access is better than none. I have called numerous times to get this problem resolved, but apparently the problem cant be fixed until the new fiber line is completed, who knows how much longer that will take! This company NEVER returns phone calls, even when they say they will. I would rate this company zero stars if Google had the option. 2-9-2017 Update to the owner: You wont find me in your customer database because I call on behalf of my family to take care of the internet issues. You know who I am, stop being shady and fix your internet issues!

We will no longer be using the cable company. Our phone has been out for 7 business days and we have called twice about getting someone out to fix it. Nobody has come yet and now it is the holidays and we will wait several more days. By the time we can get someone here it will have been half a month with it not working. Why would we pay for a full month and get half that along with rude representatives and slow support? Do not waste your time, go with a satellite service. It may be more expensive but maybe that will be safer in actually getting you a technician when you have a problem.

Take your money somewhere else. The customer service reps are rude, dishonest, and totally unhelpful. They dont care if your internet service goes out for days at a time. If you call to report a loss in service, they will make up some off the wall excuse and almost never send anyone out to fix the problem. The television they provide is a strange mix between analog and digital, and the channels are constantly changing. This makes it seem like they are not getting their television channels from a legitimate or legal source. Avoid this "business" at all costs.

I needed more bandwidth for my internet use, I use SKYPE, Facetime and have facebook pages and web pages. I talk with folks in other counties and need a stable connection all day. I find the high speed (20 mgs) is amazing and stable! I had one problem with a misunderstanding and it was corrected and address that day! I am currently very very happy with this company and will recommend them with ***** Stars. The old company was not good at all and I had changed to another service .......... but under the new management all that is corrected and superb.

I was super discouraged after frontier made my life hellish for several months, so I was very skeptical of any internet provider. I reluctantly signed up for service here because Im an online student; internet at my house is a must. Now my internet is so fast, even faster than at my workplace. Ive had minimal to no problems for the two months Ive had it. Also, there was a mix up with billing, so my payment was very late, and after a quick phone call it was sorted out and there wasnt a penalty. I highly recommend!

This isnt a review, Im just trying to get a little information. There arent a lot of options for internet service in Marble, but my husband and I have been trying to explore all options. I have tried to contact The Cable Company several times. Every time I have called the number listed on their website I get a busy signal, and no one has responded to my emails requesting a quote for service. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for internet service would be much appreciated.

Allison & Mykala (office staff) do a GREAT JOB and are always VERY polite and patient. HOWEVER... the owner is always too busy to return my calls after SEVERAL very polite requests over two weeks. Other comments stating that calls are never returned are accurate. Installers showed up (we were gone) without calling ahead as we had specified so installation was delayed. We had to select them ONLY because they are the sole cable option in the area and satellite was not an option.

Allison in the office is always super nice when I go to pay my bill!! Internet speed has improved dramatically since new management took over!! Service has also been stellar! I had a tree limb take out my line. I called and left a message on Friday night and a technician was at my house on Saturday to fix the problem. I totally didnt expect to see them before Monday! I am so glad I got away from my previous providers and went with Cable TV!!!

This place is an absolute joke!!! Terrible customer service most reps are very rude and uneducated... They NEVER return calls in a timely manner... Anyone living in their service area I highly recommend that you consider another provider such as frontier or BREMC. Please do NOT waste your $$$$ with these people complete rip off!!!

I had frontier before I switched over to cable and frontier was horrible I was never satisfied with them. When I switched to cable if I ever had a problem with the internet the techs would come and work on it as soon as they could and everyone was so nice! I am so grateful for this service! Thank you so much!!

I am so thankful that I switched my internet service to The Cable Company. We have been struggling along with very poor internet service and was surprised to find out that Murphy does have a better choice. I want to comment our installer Kevin for his professionalism and knowledge in his field.

It is down about as much as it works and they sold us a package so most of the time if the internet is down so is the cable. My hpne has been out a week since the storm and they havent gotten it fixed.
