Worst experience ever! rented a uhaul yesterday and ask the sales clerk Jennifer if I wanted to return the truck that night instead of keeping it for the full 24 hours would it be problem to return it she said no just drop it. So I did, get a call and txt this morning from uhaul asking about the keys, So I call the store back and told the lady on the phone will it be ok to return the key at 12 she said yes. So when I get to uhaul I gave Jennifer back the key and her manager I supposed said we already charged you for a key and I responded that the lady on the phone said it will ok to return it at 12 and she responded you talked to customer service that has nothing to do with me and it cant do nothing about it. Why are yall calls recorded and you said it fine but its a probably when you get to the store.

The so called mechanic did sloppy work on my new 2012 Honda CRV trailer hitch installation. You couldn’t see the mess he made unless you got underneath the vehicle. He cut an unnecessary large hole in the rear underbody panel and insulation. He also left out several fasteners for the rear splash guards and underbody panel. I am a master craftsman and could have installed the hitch myself with professional quality. When I got home, I repaired the large hole he left so my cat (or anything else) couldn’t get up in there. I also attached all the parts that he didn’t fasten. Never again will I pay to have a slob do work for me that I can do myself perfectly. U-Haul should refund me the $127 labor charges I paid for this pathetic work. C. Rouss 4/20/2012

My experience here was fantastic. I reserved a trailer so I could tow a motorcycle on a Wednesday afternoon. After I arrived, the check in process took less than five minutes. Another employee then hooked the trailer up to my SUV but noticed that I had a 1 7/8" ball and the trailer could only receive a 2" ball (my mistake for not checking the trailer description more carefully). He took me inside and showed me where their stock of 2" balls were and they even installed it on the ball mount for me without hesitation. They were all easy to talk to while still being professional. They hooked the trailer up for me, did a safety inspection, and then I was on my way. The return process was a breeze as well. Thanks for all the help!

We used the Beltline Branch in Mobile , Al. The truck we received shook until you reach 45 mph. The radio was broken and volume was stuck at 10 ( out of a 1-10 scale). The door handle was broken and could only be opened with a key. Upon return it took 13 gallons to fill up ( our trip was 8.4 miles one way and we went there and back only!!). The gas gauge read full when we got in the truck upon pick up. We we returned they we used 35 miles. If that is the case then the truck got 2.6 mpg. Something is very fishy here.

Dont go here for propane. First I was they told me they couldnt fill a tank before 12p.m. Then When I arrived they would not fill it because of a light rain outside finishing outside. Statistically you would have to hit the power ball odds to hit the combination of a lightning strike within 100 feet, and be leaking propane at that moment in order to cause a detonation. More likely they were incompetent and or lazy.

This place is very unprofessional and has terrible customer service skills. The manager whos supposed to be the leader cant even do her job properly I think Uhaul should consider who they put in certain positions. The staff needs to be better trained and organized.

I have gone to this U-Haul store on three occasions to get moving/storage boxes and have had only good experiences. Monica and Hazel are both friendly and helpful, once Monica carried the boxes out to my car in a pouring rain and did it cheerfully. GOOD SERVICE

Please do not think that if you reserve a truck at a certain time and a certain location that it will be there. They do not tell you that at all and then act all shocked when you are mad the day before you need your truck and plans get all screwed up.

Employees were useless. Edit: Second time coming here. Just as useless. The only person certified to fill propane tanks did not feel like she could do it without "blowing both of us up". What is the point of the certification?

Horrible customer service from the top once they take your $$! I NEVER received an email link to pay my bill. I only got a nasty phone call AND they called my brother to bug him. Ridiculous and unprofessional.

Never a problem except that they sometimes dont have the truck in the ideal size, however, the rates are not much different for the larger truck.
