I contacted this company for a quote to move our business office equipment. The customer service person I spoke with at their main office was extremely nice. The gentleman that was sent to do the walk-through and provide the quote was also nice until it came time to follow through on his commitment to provide a quote by the end of that day. In fact, the quote arrived 5 days later after he sent the following email: I am sorry for the delay or the technology issues in getting the estimated charges and the inventory to you. I am also sorry that you are "not impressed". But I am very busy and in addition, your move isnt until approximately the end of November as per our meeting. We are an organization that needs to provide budgets for approval and this gentleman seems to feel because our move was not for 2 months he should not have to provide the quote when he promised. When the quote finally arrived, it was double that of the other two companies I received quotes from. He also told me not to contact anyone else from the company moving forward and to only contact him. I will never use this organization.

HORRIBLE experience; I had booked this company because they have a partnership with my apartment building and since the building does not have a loading dock I though that they would be efficient; however after arriving 30 minutes late the crew leader said that he had never been to my building before and proceeded to take 45 minutes for set up; they did not handle my items with care and were very very slow...my last 4 moves the company packed items such as lamps, computers, and TV...this company does not they wrap items in blankets...I was supposed to have a team of 4 but 3 arrived making my 6 hour move into 10 hours...the first several items off of the truck were damaged and boxes were over stacked cause multiple broken items...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! Do not use this company for your own good. I never write reviews but I had to because I dont want anyone to be cheated like I was. They lied to me throughout the whole process. They were late on pick-up, late on drop-off and I had to call them when they were late because they just forgot about me. They up-charged me $325 on delivery for no reason, and after trying to talk to them calmly they were unkind, not helpful and avoided me. Not to mention that they broke three items of my furniture, and you have to call in to undergo this long process to ever get your money back. Please for your own good, use any other company than this one! Its not worth the pain.

If I could put 0 stars I would. I didnt even get to do the move because my husbands company didnt approve his transfer. So I asked to cancel my move 3 weeks in advance before the move way before they needed notice. I asked them about my refund for the deposit and they were just rude, ignored my calls and my emails. When they finally answered my calls they said they cant even find the transaction for my deposit that I needed to fax them a copy of my bank transaction, but didnt even give me the fax number. when your getting there services they are great but as soon as you cancel everything changes. I wouldnt recommend them at all. Especially with all the bad reviews.

Midwest moving is probably the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with. The sales staff including the manager avoided me the minute they found out my Holly Hunt dining table and Henredon urn was damaged. I reported the damages, but the company came up with all sort of excuses to not fix the damages due to the cost to fix it. We tried to contact the owner to report the damages, but I all we kept getting was the receptionist. All employees avoided my calls. We finally got a hold of one, but the manager promised us again they would help but nothing was done. I would not recommend this company. It is waste of time and energy dealing with them.

I had a deal with a mover and it fell through. Midwest Moving & Storage came to the rescue. They moved my over sized white sofa that needed to be hoisted off a balcony. It was wrapped in new blankets and shrink wrapped. It arrived without a spec of dirt on it. They were on time, courteous and complete professionals. I learned a lesson. I will never go anywhere other than Midwest Moving & Storage in the future. Thank you.

Horrible!! made an appointment and did not show up. when called them, they said we were not even in their system. This guy name Dave thought I did not hear his conversations with his co-worker when I was on hold or maybe he did because he did not want our business. This guy kept putting me down over the phone and no apologetic. Maybe they thought that they were the only moving company. One star is too much for them

Good moving experience. Rick and his crew not only moved our furniture but fixed furniture that United Van Lines screwed up from the prior move in 2015. Mark DeCamilli was our contact and took it upon himself to really accommodate us. I will be using them again when I leave Chicago. They also respect your apartment when doing the move. Thank you Rick, Juan and Christian for your efforts that day.

They stole items and damaged others. One of which was hidden in another larger box with other boxes. Im still going through my items to see what else they stole. Clearly they looked through my things and had time to do so. They charged me over $1200 to rob me. Whatever they happened to do well is undone by not protecting my items while in their possession. Look elsewhere for moving your possessions.

Everything was fine until they delivered almost all of my things after being stored in their facility in Las Vegas. Someone STOLE over $3000 worth of scuba equipment. Stupid me, I should have put the gear bag into a box so would be thieves wouldnt know what it was. My suggestion would be to pack everything so the thieves at the warehouse in Las Vegas cant see what there is to steal. Be warned.

The five star average review can not be correct, I wouldnt be surprised if they are pumping the reviews. Avoid this moving company, total scam, absolute worse business Ive ever encountered. They will not deliver on time, lie, deceive and have the absolute worse customer service. Theyll also up charge you at point of delivery. Literally use anyone else.

Absolute WORST WORST WORST moving company. Paid them to pack and move from Illinois to California. Came in and literally threw my things in boxes. Lied to me about when my things would be delivered. Took them 3 WEEKS. When they did finally deliver they had hired DAY LABORERS to move my things. Many things were stolen or broken. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Midwest Moving moved everything without damaging anything - they showed up on time - the movers were all very professional yet were very personable at the same time - the price estimate they provided was very close to the actual price for the move - I would definitely recommend Midwest Movers to anyone!

I moved from Grand Rapids, MI to Edison, NJ. My packages are stored in a storage and when I call to get them delivered on my preferred date , they said that its not possible. I was not told about this and now I will have to wait untill they can deliver at their convenient time
