I had a great experience at this dealership with warranty work performed with my 2016 WRX STi until the last repair for a new short block. I had my car towed to the dealership around 9 pm and went in the next morning to let the service department know what my car was there for. They were quick to get it fixed and gave me a new Outback service loaner. The issue I have with this dealership and the reason I will make over an hour drive out of way to the Birmingham Subaru dealership is because when I went to pick my car back up from having the new short block work done, I did a walk around and now had a 6 inch horizontal crack in my bumper. I pointed it out to Tommy who took a photo and said he would tell Dennis. I heard from Dennis the next day and he never was informed of my bumper and blamed the tow company. I have a photo of the car going on the truck where there is clearly no damage to the bumper. I also saw the car the next morning and stood in front of it with my boyfriend staring at the front end up close and from a distance and never saw any damage. Another time I went to the dealership to get some items form my car and it was on a lift and raised up a bit and I stood in front of the drivers side in front of the bumper and again, no glaring issues were noticed. They will not take responsibility and told me to file a comprehensive claim with insurance and pay my $500 deductible. The car left me with no damage and was returned needing a new bumper. If you dare to take your car her, please inspect it upon arrival and when receiving it back.

Montgomery Subaru was a great experience throughout the car buying process. Before buying my car from them, I test drove and negotiated car prices at about 7 or 8 different dealerships. Montgomery Subaru was the most pleasant by far. I felt respected and valued as a customer by the friendly and HONEST (a unique quality in a car dealership) staff. I want to thank the sales manager Donni Crozier for his professionalism and integrity. A special thanks to Kyle Cambell for being an exceptional car salesman. Kyle is very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and not pushy at all, the perfect combination in a car salesman. Ill even throw Eddie Ivory in there for having a great phone presence when I called Montgomery Subaru the second time. If youre thinking of buying a Subaru, put Montgomery Subaru on your list of places to test drive (best to put first on list). Theyll save you money by giving you the best price, save you time by getting all the paperwork done in a timely manner, and save you the hassle that you are likely to experience at other places (I feel like I lost about a year of healthy life in my dealings with other dealerships). If I could give this dealership less that one star I would. I went here with my girlfriend to look at an Outback or Forester. As soon as we stepped out of our car we were besieged by the salesman Wayne. All we wanted to do was spend a nice Saturday morning looking at cars. He would not leave us alone even after we repeated several times that we just want to look and if we have questions we will ask him. No matter where we went or what car we looked at he was there. After a while we made it to a group of Outbacks and he began telling us all the details and features of them. He did this so fast that it was a little hard to tell which car he was talking about. When my girlfriend asked him a question he became irritated and said, "Just like I already told you, this car is a Limited. It doesnt have the sunroof on it. If you had looked at the roof you could have seen that." After that he still went on and on explaining the differences in more detail but sounded like he was talking a group of kids. We politely tried to walk away and go inside the dealership but he still followed us talking the entire way trying to sell us every car we went past. At this point I was looking for the manager but just decided to leave instead. I have owned several Subarus but I will never go back here.

If you plan on ordering a Subaru, choose Montgomery Subaru. Rob Anderson, the internet sales manager, is a joy to work with. Communications were always prompt and clear - no beating around the bush or trying to haggle. He provided the best price in the region on a 2016 Outback. I showed up @ 3pm on a Friday, the car was parked right out front. Despite having a trade-in appraised, a test drive on the 16 OB, and completing financing paperwork, the whole process took under two hours. I also really appreciate how the dealership respects their customers. Instead of trying to sell me a bunch of impulse-buy warranties and protection plans, they did their best to streamline the entire process. There is no need to bash the other Subaru dealers in the state and the southeast, but after communicating with several, it became quite clear to me that Montgomery Subaru is the best around. A++

We came from Ohio to Pensacola to help my daughter purchase her first car. I used the internet to find the different places in the vicinity of Pensacola, Florida and Montgomery Subaru ended up with the best deal for us. We had to travel about 3 hours to the dealership from Pensacola but it was totally worth it. Matt was very easy to work with and so were all the people at the dealership. He gave my daughter the best price out of 5 dealerships we checked. With Matt the price was given from the first time I requested information from him and it was better than the True Value price I researched. We had a great experience. We purchased a 2014 Subaru Outback last year. There was no pressure to buy, at all, and the final price was reasonable. We got a discount and they made a profit. Thats the way it should be. Their service department is great too. We have had no problems requiring warranty work so we have only taken our car in for scheduled service. They are friendly and very efficient. We were so happy with our buying experience we have already referred family to the dealership. They were so happy with the way they were treated they did not shop around. They are now happy owners of a new Subaru too. We highly recommend Subaru and Montgomery Subaru in particular.

Well worth the 3 hour drive from Pensacola FL area. Best price on a 2017 Crosstrek within 250 miles. No hassle over the price or addition of accessories. These guys treat you like you matter! Dealt with Rob and the owner John. John spoke with us the phone personally before we arrived and beat the best offer we had been given by $150 with no hassle. He even came down to check on us when he heard we had arrived after our 3 hour drive. Means a great deal when the owner of the dealership comes down to make sure youre being taken care of.
