If i could give this place a zero or less rating I would. Each and every time I have to interact with the staff it is beyond unpleasant. The people are rude, and refused to give me my package because I didnt have a yellow piece of paper that they wrote my box number on. I had my ID proving that I am who I am and that Im the owner of the box and they still refused to release my package. While the woman in front of me walked up, showed no ID asked for the clerk to get her mail out of her box and he did it with no issue. He did not ask for any identification. So why is it that when i try to get my package with proper ID it is refused. I stated that I was not going to leave until the issue was resolved and Gaston the clerk threatened to call the police to have me (an 8 month pregnant woman) removed. Im beyond upset. Eventually a different employee named Randy provided me with my package but stayed that it was on the terms that I must always have my yellow slip of paper from now on.. If this is USPS policy or just the locations policy I do not know, but I think that it should be illegal to require me to give them a slip of paper when I can prove my identity and it matches the box and package. Plus for them to withhold my package once I have provided my identity verification also seems illegal. I have no idea why my experience with this location is always so terrible but Im definitely tired of being treated like this.

I spoke with Christina this morning, asking if the RV Resort "Pueblo El Mirage " has been given its own specific Zip code. The last 4 numbers! Christina was very friendly and that she was not aware a change at this time! When I asked again if 0373 or 0737 was the one that would belong to Roberts resorts she replied that there were a lot of numbers and SHE HAD NO WAY OF KNOWING WHICH WAS THE ONE I WAS LOOKING FOR. I thanked her and said goodbye, Christina was very professional and friendly! I felt welcome to call again for any other questions I may have in the future. Thank you for having such quality employees like Christina. I have made use of the El Mirage Post Office from picking up registered letters to mailing out letters to sending boxes out and buying stamps and I have always....without fail... been greeted by a friendly and helpful postal employ no matter the time nor the need. We have every reason to be proud of our postal employees in El Mirage!! I just wanted to take this time to give them all an ATTA-BOY and BIG BIG Thank You to you All !!! Lousy post office. I have to go over there form time to time when my Surprise office is closed. They are lazy, rude and tell me PO rules that are not true just to not have to do more than they have to. I ship out a lot of items through the post office. I thought mail was mail. They tell me that I have to change my zip code on my packages form Surprise to an El Mirage zip code or I cant ship anything out through them any more. This is totally stupid. They are refusing my mail! Also, they are so lazy that they cant scan anything in when you drop it off. All my other post offices scan my mail in and give me a receipt. They told me that all the post offices stopped doing that. When I have it done all the time at other POs. It really infuriated me. Lazy El Mirage slugs! I know the PO is bad. But this is way beyond bad! Just because its a crappy town, does it mean the service has to be crappy too?

I have waited almost a month to have a package delivered and the day its supposed to be delivered I see the mail man pull up to my mail box doesnt even get out and leaves without dropping off my package.. I looked at the tracking info and it says that he attempted to deliver my package but there wasnt a secure place available to deliver.. my best friend and my mother in law both work for the post office in Peoria and both say that the mail man is supposed to deliver packages to the door!! Plus Ive had packages just thrown over my fence plenty of times..one time my dogs tore up one of them. This post office never answers the phone so that they could try and make it right... worst one ever.

Our mail lady refuses to come to my door because I have dogs in my back yard. My dogs have never bothered her. They are not inside dogs at all and they dont come around to the front yard because we have a 6 ft gate. Today while I was at home, she dropped off a sorry we missed you notice for a certified letter that needed to be signed to complete my home purchase. She left it without ringing the doorbell or knocking. Today of course is Saturday so I cant call or track it down. I am furious because it needed to be signed by 8am Monday morning and now it wont be Because she couldnt give me the curtousy of knocking on my door.

I had a package transfer over from ups to this post office it says it was received at my door 8:00am Friday 5/27/16 I never recieved the package and Everytime I call I get an response saying they will call me back you guys are responsible for my merchandise your irresponsible driver dropped it at the wrong house and you guys are refusing to recover it and I will be taking this all the way to the too because it is your responsibility to make sure important packages get to the rightful location!!!!!

This will be the second time the mail person mysteriously didnt leave a key in the smaller mail box in order to get to my merchandise (unlock) in the big box... Or they are stealing it but either way, if my merchandise does not get found I will press charges against the usps employee delivering mail that day. Its a federal offense. I have proof ups delivered it to my post office and sent a comfirmation that its been delivered but hasnt.

This place is ridiculous. I was supposed to have a package delivered to my mail box and i have confirmation on my email it was delivered. I have not key to get into the bigger mail boxes and a supervisor was supposed to call me never did ive called 3 times no answer called a 4th time this guy rsndy answered then asked for my tracking number when i asked him to hold on for just a sec he hung up on me..horrible

I moved to this areas about two months ago and my mail always gets delivered to my neighbors. I had a packaged delivered 3 weeks ago and it went to my neighbor. Thankfully, my neighbor came and gave it to me. I had another package delivered on Saturday (according to the tracking number) but it never came to my mail box. I also notice that I get the cover of the weekly coupons.
