Genuinely I can adapt to any environment when I meet someone. The front desk associate did approach me with a smile when I walked in the door, however he instantly tried me for my money. I have a full time job and I just figured Id try to make a few more dollars on the side and register my vehicle for uber. The Brake Shop was one of the registered shops to get a "free" inspection in which Uber has a contract and pays them per inspection. I showed him the paperwork and he was asking me to pay $35 on top of the Uber "free" inspection or I can make an appointment for December 25. They are closed on Christmas. I told the front desk clerk that this is not right the way he is trying to double his money and he instantly came over the counter. I know this review will be read by few but take my advice and go to a place where they offer the service that is documented. Call in advance and make sure you watch your back. He followed me to my vehicle and I felt threatened. Terrible experience and this business wont last long if he keeps treating honest citizens like this. Update on review: Not only did the above happen, but the guy is now trolling my LinkedIn account. Hope you have received your anger management class Rick.

I am compelled to let all know that "The Break Shop" in Mesa is hands down the best place I have ever brought my car in for repairs. Friendly, caring, clean and so much a cut above. They not only diagnosed my car problem but went out of their way to find the part needed as quickly as possible. Kept me informed along the way. As I waited for the diagnosis a number of people came in to pick up their cars. Surprisingly (not surprising any more to me!) each and every one of them seemed so happy and satisfied with the work theyd had done. I spoke with a couple of them and they both said they would not take their car anywhere else! This is not an experience Ive had in the past taking my car in for repairs. The icing was that even though the part couldnt be obtained until the next day. Offered me a shuttle home so I didnt have to find someone to come fetch me. Family owned, respectful, wonderful service. Cant thank Rick and the rest of the guys that took such wonderful care of me!!

As a mechanic myself that has moved into a different line of work I can fully recommend all the guys here at The Brake Shop. With my new responsibilities I dont always have the time I wish I did to do my own repairs. When I was new to the area I shopped around and talked to a lot of shops before having any work done. These guys are class act. They know their stuff and they put a great guarantee on their work. Honesty, reliability, and quality is the mantra here. After reading some of these reviews about being a "scam" or the guys looking for extra money... Im not so sure if these people really used the same shop. I continue to refer friends/acquaintances/co-workers here when I dont have time to handle their repairs and all 5 of them have yet to have a less than stellar experience and reported back full satisfaction to me.

These guys are great! I purchased a nice older Buick and thought that the brakes should be looked at. I dropped my car off after hours on Sunday and received a call from Kurt Monday morning around 8:15am to ask me a few questions about the concerns I had. Kurt called me back a few hours later and to my F-in SURPRISE told me my brakes were in good shape and no repairs were needed on the braking system! They did however do an inspection and noticed the rear struts were in need of replacement and my cabin air filter was missing. They completed the work quickly and were very professional through the whole process. Thanks Kurt and Rick, and heres a shoutout to the fellas breaking their backs and sweating their balls off in the shop.... Thanks Guys!

These guys are fantastic! We took my car in about a month ago to get the brakes done and, although they found more work they were very reasonably priced... so when my car started driving funny this week I took the car there. They determined that there was something wrong with the transmission and, although they spent 2 hours on the car I walked away with diagnosis and no charges. I took the car back again, they determined the extent of the issues, my transmission is failing. The car has 3 weeks to live. Again, we are walking away with no bill and they spent the day with the car. I would recommend them to anyone! You just dont find companies like this anymore.

Is it possible to rate them 6 stars? Ive lived a in a few areas of the country and when looking for a mechanic the MOST important thing to look for is honesty. Give me honest over cheap anyday. That is not to say these guys are expensive, theyre not, theyre fair. Outstanding service, quality, knowledge and professionalism. They take the time to let you know whats going on. Theyll try to save you money. Offered me a used gas tank instead of new because the used would work just as well. Saved me lots by diagnosing over the phone and helped me determine I could fix a problem on my own. Take your car here and be at ease with your decision. These guys are great.

The employees at this full service auto facility has allow The Brake Shop to become my garage. I now take all my vehicles to them including, family and friends. These guys tell you exactly what you need to keep you vehicle going and what will be coming up and they just inform you no pressure to get it done. They want you to know the facts and be as comfortable in making the repair decisions when you can afford them. Professional, courteous, patient, and clean work with no issues or problems. Thanks Brake Shop for building my reliability in my vehicle when I now know who to count on to keep it running and on the road.

I first came to the Brake Shop because it was so close to home and as a disabled women it would be an afternoon and I would take my vehicle home. Well what I thought was going to cost under Fifty dollars turned out to be over Seven hundred dollars. I explained I didnt have that kind of money being on disability and Carl and Mike and Rick were so kind and caring that they said I could keep my car on the lot until I figure what I could do to raise the money. I have not met three men more concern about my health then worried about fixing my car. I have been blessed by these men and their generosity. Thank you

I dropped my Honda off after sucking up water from the after market air filter. The car was chugging when I dropped it off. But when the call me a piston was shot through the side of the engine. I can only imagine the mechanic gassing the engine as a why to fix. When I got there there solution was to not to take responsibility, but to just had me back my keys . It cost me 500.00 in labor plus the engine to get me back on the road. Thanks to Cause Jack. I believe it was Scott who worked the counter. Because of my belief in the word of God, I didnt sue.
