From Day 1 a few months ago, I have received an honest quote and honest work from everyone at Faith Works. I think Pauls(owner) sister, Pamela, greatly assists in making this happen and making sure your car needs are taking care of. Paul and Pamela are very friendly and are willing to answer your questions. I have checked their prices with previous work I have had done on my cars and the prices are lower and the service is very prompt (so far:). I believe that Paul doesnt try to add extra on to the parts but only a very fair price. This is the area other mechanics work up the price. Also Paul doesnt sell extra work unless it is necessary. I trust his suggestions. He understands a lot of people are in a pinch and dont want to have everything done on their car at once. He has helped me to do it in stages if necessary. A couple days ago, Paul went the extra mile to help. My dad had an estimate on a brake job on his truck at Faith works. There were two options and Paul priced both. My dad didnt have to have the brakes done that day, so he waited. A couple days ago, my dad found some old coupons and decided to take his truck in to a local brake shop. The Brake shop didnt provide options but only one course which was much more expensive. My dad forgot about Pauls quote and because the brake shop said he needed the extra work done for safety sake, my dad said ok. Because he had the coupons he thought he was saving. By the time he let me know, the truck was on the rack being fixed. I went down to the Brake Shop and told them that I could have the same job done for a lot less at Faith Works. Paul took the time to fax his quote and price some apples to apples brake work for the Brake shop. Paul didnt get the business, but he believes in making sure everyone gets a fair price. He saved my Dad over $120 by taking the extra time. Thanks Paul - Faith Works - Honest Answers - Honest Prices

2014 June 20 Been searching for reputable mechanic nearby (instead of the Jeep Dealer out on I-10) where the individuals are passionate about my plain jane 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Im a neighbor, at University & Dobson, so I walk or bike back. Friendly and knowledgeable Joshua over the phone :) Reasonable rates (given the area and era) near $100/hr Reasonable parts prices, though I cannot vouch for the quality yet. I drove away with (taxes/labor included): brake job, rear: including rear axle bearings and seals ...$600 brake job, front resurface rotors & replace ceramic pads ...$200 Parking brake cables & pad replacement, adjustment ...$390 oil change ...$30 Every now and then, after engaging the parking brake I was stuck going forward: could not go in reverse w/o first moving forward. In addition, when backing up after the car sat overnight, the rear brakes shuttered violently. (This continues to this date, May 31 17). Within a few uses, the parking brake no longer braked. I would pull the full range, and nothing. (I still crawl under and adjust every 6-months or so). 2016 March 4 Returned for oil change and asked for a look into the braking issues. They charged me $25 to take a look -- they told me it was not their fault, that I had an old vehicle and nothing could fix these problems. (The problem did not exist before they mucked with it). Further, they adjusted my parking brake and it worked in the parking lot. Again, within a few uses, the parking brake no longer braked. Returned two more times and asked some questions, bought a part (successfully installed myself), but walked away realizing that Jeeps were not their expertise. I have now moved on, looking for an XJ expert.

Are you kidding me?! Why arent all mechanic shops like Faith Works Automotive? I had late night car troubles one Sunday night and dropped my car off at this shop which is about 50 miles from my home. Called them up the next morning and they got right on the diagnosis. The guy who answered the phone was extremely friendly and I immediately felt that I could trust this shop just by his tone and customer service. He let me know it would be $50 for the diagnosis, as I was having some major knocking noises over the slightest bumps. I usually go to 2 other shops near my house, Fletchers, which charges around a $90 diag fee and Wilhelm, who charges over $100 for theirs. So obviously, Im ok with the $50. He calls me back a few hours later and my cars all done. I just had my struts and shocks replaced by a mechanic I found on Craigslist, and all the bolts were loose. He explained to me, with work like that, you really need an impact wrench to get everything tight to spec. Most people working out of their house just use hand tools, which is what he did. Faith Works Automotive only charged me the $50 diag fee and tightened up all that was loose. Even though I live nearly an hour a way, next time I need my car worked on, Im going to find something to do on the east valley so I can drop my car off there. These guys have raised the bar for mechanic shops nationwide! I love that the owner acknowledges his faith for all to see in his business name, but proves it more so by the work ethic performed here. You dont have to be a believer in Christ to walk in and know youre in good hands. Thanks Faith Works Automotive for being a high quality, trustworthy, friendly shop. You guys are fantastic!

I first learned of Faith Works Automotive about two and a half years ago when I utilized their skills to investigate & analyze a Ford F-150 I was considering buying. At that time I was privileged to meet the owner, Paul, who I found to be a soft-spoken but knowledgeable automotive mechanic. Based on Faith Works findings I purchased the 2008 Ford F150, a vehicle which they have subsequently worked on a number of times for minor issues. About a year ago I was nicely surprised to learn Faith Works opened a second shop located near the intersection of Alma School Rd and Guadalupe Road. Due to that location being near to us, weve utilized them a number of times to work on not just my Ford, but also my wife and daughters Toyota Avalons. In fact, due to the misfortune of my wife striking a curb on the light rail platform today, her Avalon is once again back in Faith Works Automotive shop even as I write this review. In summary, from my perspective you only ask a few simple things from an Automotive shop to become a consistently satisfied customer: 1. To be trustworthy 2 . To perform quality work 3. To be as expeditious as possible 4. And to charge an appropriate fee Throw in a smattering of friendliness and you have a shop worthy of honestly being referred to others for their repair needs. In my experience, Faith Works Automotive is that type of shop.

So i would like to take this time to give a big big shout out to faith works automotive! Not only do they do a great job on whatever auto repair they do to your vehicle they also go above and beyond and take the time to ask and recommend anything else you need! I would give them a 10 star rating if they had it! I will not and i repeat i will not take my vehicle anywhere else to get anything done on my vehicle besides faith works! I have had them do two major repairs on my vehicle and now it runs like a champ. They not only found the problems my vehicle was having they also fixed it and it is in tip top shape thanks to faith works! So i really suggest to take your vehicle to them especially if you have no clue of what is wrong with it, they will do a thorough diagnostic on it and will tell you what it will need the first time. Believe me when i say they are the best mechanics i have met and i really thank faith work automotives you have a long time customer for as long i live so once again thank you and i appreciate all that you have done for me. Yours truly, Edward Escobedo
