Its been ages since Ive had service this good. Lets face it, car repairs are expensive and nobody likes to wait. I used to take my car to another popular service place because I had their credit card, but the quality of their service was so poor that I dared not go bad. Midas rescued me. The man working the counter was incredibly friendly to all the customers, and very straightforward. Sometimes with cars you get bad news, but this guy was personable, honest, and professional. They got my car looked at and went down the costs with me. I thought I had an alignment issue, and it would be so easy to charge me for that. But he said it was just the brakes. Let me add that my previous servicer installed squeaky brakes that drove me nuts. I didnt know they were ready to be changed until they were grinding on the rotors, so I had to replace those, too. Now I have quiet brakes, and they will only make a sound when they need changing-- and I can do it before the rotors get ruined. Little details mean a lot when it comes to cars! The worker also explained the different financing options (you can get a good option if your credit us good, or a so-so option if your credit needs work), and was very open about the APR. He got me all set up, walked me through everything, answered all my questions. I was there for a long time but it was because I needed so much work. I overhead his conversations with other customers (its a small waiting room, you cant not hear them), and he was nice to all of them. Other people needed less work than me, and came and left while I waited. It seemed like appointments were well-honored. I was given several discounts, too. If you are a walk-in and/or need a lot of work, be prepared to be patient. If you need something simple, make an appointment. I will be coming back here for sure!

Initially they appeared very good and frankly what they did was shocking for a big chain store like Midas. Changed the oil in my Mercedes 2002 and they forgot to reset the oil setting, which I was able to do myself, but brought it back because it appeared to be running a little rough. They offered to take a look at it and came back to show me a Champion spark plug supposedly taken out of the Mercedes and with great astonishment he proceeded to say how this is certainly what was causing the issue and only Bosch spark plugs should be used. After tapping away at the computer came up with an estimate of over 4hrs to replace plus the plugs, estimate came up to over $800. I asked about the spark plug wire set and he said his cost was $400.00 alone and never gave me a cost (at least he had some conscience not to proceed with that lie. The scam....Needless to say I did the work myself with help and found that THERE WAS NO CHAMPION SPARK PLUG all 12 in the car were BOSCH. I ordered Bosch Iridium Spark Plugs $5.02 X 12 , Spark plug Wire set $100.00, air filter $10.00 and spark plug Mercedes wrench (Ebay $15.50) . Took less than 4 hours. Wow I heard of tricky mechanics but that is a big scam if they pulled it off. Who knows what else they are doing. Stay away and find another shop you can trust. Very disappointing! (wont let you give less than 1 star)

I used a Groupon that include a full service oil change, tire rotation, air conditioning check and full inspection. Scheduled an appointment for 8 a.m. dropped car off went home. Got a call at about 9:15 saying it was ready. When I arrived it was not busy at the shop at all. I asked if there were any leaks I should be aware of knowing there was but was told No, it looked good! So I knew then they didnt check anything. I went out to my truck after paying and checked my tire pressure, 3 different pressures and knew that they hadnt even checked something that simple. Talked to Tom in front and expressed concern, he agreed that it seemed they didnt do the work they should have. They then pulled my truck in to do the work they should have already done! I had to then wait at the shop while they did the checks and rotation of tires that should have been done while I was at home. This cost me an extra hour of my Monday morning, and a missed appointment at the gym. They didnt offer my any discount or extra service for my huge inconvenience let alone an apology! I will not be going back to things location, as I cant trust them to do their job even on a slow non busy day! I guess customer satisfaction is not high on their list! Sad part is I was hoping to find a reliably car place as I just moved into the area.....their loss!

I came to this automotive shop to have two minor repairs completed. After a fairly discouraging opening conversation with the attendant, my vehicle was taken into the maintenance bay and inspected. The "mechanic" was unable to find any problems with my first request, and so therefore did nothing. Then they tried to sell me an expensive part to fix my second problem. I suspected that the employees here were trying to sell me a part I didnt need so I went to another shop nearby for a second opinion. This other business fixed both of my problems for free! I can only conclude that the employees of this Midas were trying to trick me into purchasing parts I didnt need, which is standard operating procedure for scammy auto shops. The only reason I wouldnt give this location one star is because I didnt have any work completed, and therefore cant attest to the quality of any such actions.

Same thing happened to me as Richard in a previous review. I asked the manager (Raul) to make sure they would rotate my tires because I read his review. I marked my tires to see if they would in fact rotate them. When I came back to pick up my car I saw that the tires were not rotated. When I asked the employee why he didnt rotate my tires he said that the manager told him that I didnt want them rotated. This was a straight up lie. I confronted Raul about this and he just shrugged it off. When they finally rotated my tires I then checked the tire pressure, not a shocker, under 30 pounds. I just said Ill take it to a gas station myself to pressure the tires, I was done with these fools. This place is terrible. Im actually a bit concerned now that they might have messed something up under the car. DO NOT GO HERE. Groupon or not its not worth the hassle.

My husband and I have taken our car here twice and both times we have received excellent service. This last time I was amazed at how conscious they were about cost. I didnt have a lot of money to spend on the repair and they worked with me helping me to find a part that was cheaper. At other places I sometimes felt like they would take advantage of the fact that I didnt know a lot about cars and trick me into services I didnt really need or that my husband could do; at Midas they explained everything and told me what was necessary and what could be done by my husband. I never write reviews, but I had such a great experience here and really wanted others to know how awesome this team is! My husband and I agreed that even being 45 min away we would still take our cars here for any further needs because of the great service! Thank you Tom!!
