My family used to take our Honda here until it was no longer worth repairing (1989 Honda Accord with 250K+ miles). They were always honest and reasonable. I then started delivering auto parts for a few years, and I got to see behind the scenes at the local repair shops, including this one. AZ Auto Doctor does very good work, they are very professional compared to most shops, and they are always honest with their customers. I recently was car shopping for my aunt, we found a rare beautiful Infiniti G35. AZ Auto Doctor does vehicle pre-buyer inspections for a very very low price, and they are very thorough. They ended up finding $3000 worth of hidden headache that we would have had to deal with, (it also revealed that the car wasnt taken care of very well and may have been abused). The seller didnt want to come down on price and felt they were biased since he wasnt familiar of the company since he was from a different country. She ultimately didnt buy the car, but with the inspection as affordable as it was, it was well worth it knowing that we avoided costly hidden repairs that are not visible to the average consumers naked eye. They also did work on my wifes Nissan, the price was better than everyone else, and it now runs like a champ! If you want Honest and Quality work done on your Nissan, Honda, Acura, or Infiniti, this is the place to take it without and worry.

Were to start.....Went there for AC repair due to AC not working....Had the ac charged by az auto doctor 100.00 and still did not work...Second visit .AZ Auto Doctor tells me I need a new compressor...1200.00 I then get a second look at the ac by another mechanic and he tells me the ac unit is fine just needs some new rings.????What AZ Auto Doctor said the ac compressor exploded???? Well the SUPPOSEDLY exploded ac was fixed for 300.00 ....So I almost gave these guys 1200.00 to fix something that was not broke......The other shop asked me who installed this battery...Of course AZ Auto Doctor did when I had the car with them...He shows me the battery and says this is the wrong one. This one they installed hits the bracket that holds the hood up...Common sense when you look at it..Luckily this guy replaces the battery with the correct one since it was new.....WOW the fact I paid AZ Auto Doctor for this? Just throw in any batter even if it is the wrong one???Never again I dont know if they just dont care or just trying to upsell repairs......Be careful My AC works perfect now and I almost gave these guys 1200.00 to fix something that did not need to be replaced......You were warned

Ive repaired my own cars for years. I hate repairing cars and finally found out about these guys. Their prices are low enough that I dont feel like Im getting ripped off by letting someone else do the repair. I hate when you take a car into a mechanic and they tell you that the service will take them 6 hours. I knew as an amateur that I could do the job in 6 hours or less. Then most shops want to charge you $90 per hour for the 6 hours that it wont take them. If I can do it in less than 6 hours, any good mechanic can do it in half that time. Im not sure how they calculate the price to do a repair, but it is always significantly lower than any other shop that Ive had quotes by. Also, I knew everything that was wrong with my car before I took it to them. Or so I thought. They found a few additional problems and showed me the issue, and also pointed out the other problems. I knew from there on that they were honest mechanics.

Best mechanic shop in the Phoenix area. I have been going to them for years with no problems and so has my brother. And they have Saturday hours! Their prices are reasonable and I have never had a problem with them trying to talk me into repairs that I didnt need. When I went to sell my car, they told me exactly what I should get fixed in order to sell it and never once tried to talk me into all the repairs it actually needed. Go there and you wont be disappointed. Ryan is always personable as well.

These guys are great. I have been going there for over 10 years for all major repairs on my car and van. They are usually significantly less than the dealership and are honest with what needs to be fixed. No upselling or unnecessary fluid changes like my Honda dealership. I happily drive from South Chandler. If only they had a shuttle.

I had some work done there a couple of months ago, they replaced a leaky power steering pump, belts and water pump for me. It did take longer than anticipated but they saved me money on the long run. I appreciated their honesty on what needed to be done and what could wait. They made a customer for life.

We have brought our Hondas here for years and years because we trust these guys. They are not pushy, their charges are reasonable and their advice is sound. They are timely and friendly and helpful. Ryan - the face (and voice) of the place - is great, but so are the mechanics Ive spoken with.
