TOO BAD Palm Trails was sold and now ran by Shelton-Cook management!!! AWFUL!!!! The front office people are 100% incompetent! I pay my rent on the 1st of every month since we moved in. I gave them a list of issues to have fixed, they scheduled a time frame of 1-4pm and I took the day off because I dont trust these people in my apt without me being here, and the maintenance guy (The only one guy who works here!) shows up and tells me that he has 63 other orders/apts to deal with, and literally did nothing and left! What a complete waste of my time! They have zero respect for their tenants and their time! *****************DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!******************* Your suppose to feel happy and comfortable where you live, NOT dreading going to the office and speaking with these people about ANYTHING!!! Every question I ask them, the answer is " I DONT KNOW!" They turned off our water WITHOUT NOTICE, and when I went there to ask them how this could happen, guess what their answer was...."I dont know!" They dont know why the security gates to access the building are NOT LOCKED! They told us, O..we just keep them unlocked! WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING "SECURITY GATES", IF THEY ARE ALWAYS UNLOCKED!!!???? ESPECIALLY IN THIS AREA!!!!! HOW CAN WE FEEL SECURE!!!??????????? Thats exactly why a stranger off the street walked right thru those unlocked gates and came knocking on my door at 3am and wanted a cigarette or whatever! I had to call the police! I went there with a list of issues from water leakage from our balcony door into our apt, when it rains, to the lights flickering throughout the house, to the ridiculous creaking of the subfloors whenever the upstairs people walk around, to our toilet making water noises every 15 min, to the air conditioning unit obviously being broken and being too loud right next to my bedroom window! Today we got a "note on our door stating the water will be shut off on Mon April 17th in the morning!!!! WHEN IN THE MORNING!!??? I have to take a shower to go to work! I went to talk to Bridget (Property manager) RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! AND SHE LIVES ON THE PROPERTY TOO!!! AND OF COARSE SHE SAID "I DONT KNOW"!!!! ARE YOU PEOPLE FOR REAL!!!????!!?? THEY LITERALLY HAD NO TIME FRAME AT ALL WHEN OUR WATER WILL BE SHUT OFF OR TURNED BACK ON!!! ***************THAT IS 100% UNACCEPTABLE!********************** Who the hell is running this place!!??? I didnt even want to talk to Bridget, at this point, she is RUDE AND USELESS! So I asked Elise (the other person who works their) I need the email and phone number to your corp office and she of coarse followed the managers lead and was completely rude and told me to wait outside of her office, while she gets this info!!!!! (The audacity of these people!) She is also utterly useless and went on their website (as if i couldnt do that!!!) and wrote down a number, no name and had the audacity to say you can ask them for there email, and IF they want to give it to you, they will!!! WTF!!!!???? These people are such jerks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS HOW YOU TALK TO YOUR TENANTS!???? REALLY!!????? These people are garbage! This is NOT how you treat your worst tenant, nevertheless your best tenant! They expect for us to pay our rent on time, but they cant even tell us what time the water is going to be off??? They threat us with utter disrespect constantly! They go ahead and shut off the water whenever they want, and pretty much do whatever they want, most of the time WITHOUT EVEN ANY NOTICE OR TIME FRAMES AT ALL, and then act like YOUR THE PROBLEM WHEN YOU WALK INTO THEIR OFFICE! THEIR BEHAVIOR IS ABSOLUTLEY IS DISGUSTING, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND DOWN RIGHT ABUSE OF THEIR TENANTS!!!!!!! NEXT...FORMAL COMPLAINT THRU THE BBB! They are closed now, but I will call the corp office on monday and see how they treat me, and I will put up an update next week! Unfortunately you cant leave zero stars!

Was a short-term renter at Arcadia Walk apartments and recently moved 28 days before the official end of my lease because someone was living on the property while not being a tenant on a lease decided to vandalize my car over a period of days to the point of me being without my car for almost a month for repairs which I had to come out of my pocket for to pay my insurance deductible. The day I was moving out I had a conversation with another tenant who I told about what had happened to my car they said that they had seen this same individual publicly doing drugs with a female out in the apartment parking area and she brought this to the attention of the management office. Well as it turns out the management office did nothing about this individual because if they had we would have not crossed paths and he would not have tore up my car and fled the State of Arizona immediately afterward to avoid being confronted and hauled off. I offered to pay my rent for the remaining month left on my lease and was told by the management office to keep the electricity in my name for that remaining month and I refused, but did leave the apartment on my renters insurance coverage as they requested. I have plenty of emails to backup this claim, also would like to let it be know that I gave them a written notice to move back in November so I was also covered there. Recently I discovered that they tricked me which is what a tenants rights advocate informed me of when I explained my current situation with Arcadia Walk Apartments. The management office asked me to turn in my keys on the day I was moving out and I saw nothing wrong with that since I was not going to have to return to the complex to pay the last months rent for the end of my lease. Apparently they knew that if I gave them the keys I would then be responsible for having to pay them early out fees which is a bold face lie. What I find so disgusting about this whole thing is that my car was tore up by an individual that they should have gotten off the property and they did nothing, they didnt even blink an eye when my car was tore up and had to be towed to the auto repair because it was not driveable! Now here they come with a dirty low down trick to try to screw me over when they should have done their job and gotten that person off of the property!

Im just about fed up with shelton-cook property management. Im not sure if they train their employees at SIGNATURE PLACE LUXURY HOMES... but if they ever do they should first FIRE everyone in that office from Virginia, Janet, Michelle and then promote Daniel to MANAGER. Ive never been treated in such a disrespectful manner as I do from these rude women. Ive complained to them about several incidents as far as noise complaints, poor ventilation system, air conditioning, dirty move in, and now a drug transaction gone wrong in the condo below mines. I have an infant and Im mortified to know that they could care less about our well being. They are rude and nonchalant about EVERYTHING. Ive documented everything, via emails ( that manager MICHELLE advised me that she didnt respond to because she thought I was someone else) down to videos and recordings. Something needs to be done because Im an outstanding tenant that works hard and pays every mth. Please note that the 1 time my check bounced I paid the rent, concession fees and whatever else penalty that Virginia rudely relayed to me, within a matter of minutes, because unlike the employees at signature place I make sure that I take care of business with a sense of urgency, and I show respect because I deserve respect in return. Im not sure if these employees think that my family and I are from the ghetto, and that we dont understand legal terms, but Im going to make sure that they have truly mistaken my kindness for weakness, as well as my intelligence for stupidity.
